not good value at £175 p/n room only!

We visited Stratton House today for a spa and afternoon tea day. We had a lovely time, everyone we met from reception to our Technicians and servers in the Tea room were so friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were good, very clean and enjoyable. My only criticism would be the lack of pool, although this didn't take away from our enjoyment. The afternoon tea was delicious, in fact we said it was the best afternoon tea we had ever had so really enjoyed. We would love to return again soon!!

I just had to complain about this hotel advertising a spa , so I was so looking forward to a session in the spa after a very stressful few days , to start with it’s not included in your hotel stay you have to pay 25 pounds for 2 hours , no swimming pool , steam room not working , so all you have is a hot tub and a sauna and a relaxing room , that’s it , I have never ever had to pay any extra to use the hotels facilities, not good at all

Friendly and helpful staff, great location walking distance from town. Fast WiFi, hot and clean shower. Quiet at night. Only slight negative was the bed was a bit soft

We had booked a spa experience so decided to stay the night as well. We only live just over 30 minutes away but it’s nice to just get away and relax and relax we did.
Lovely place and staff were fantastic.
We ventured into the Cirencester for a look as we had never been and thoroughly enjoyed walking around and discovering all the quaint little shops and indoor market.
Would definitely consider another visit in the future.

We went here for afternoon tea and it was such a lovely experience. The food and drink was all so lovely and just the right amount each. Our dietary requests were met with no issue and all of the servers were brilliant and so friendly and helpful. It looked a busy environment for them and they managed all of the service excellently :)

We had three nights here recently on a special deal including one evening meal as well as breakfast, it was fantastic value. The hotel is lovely inside and out, the staff are very welcoming and their secret weapon is the kitchen! The food was excellent, each component of the breakfast was superbly cooked to order and the evening food menu was so good that after our complimentary evening meal we booked for the next evening! The Braised Pigs Cheek was tasty as was the Cod wrapped in Parma Ham. Our room was big (on the top floor) with a nice countryside view and all very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the area, has plenty of parking for it's size and is a 20 minute walk into Cirencester. We would not hesitate to stay here again and had a great time.

Not sure how it can be sold as a hotel and spa when the spa is not available to hotel residents without paying extra for the use of the spa
