The reception with checking in were 100% friendly -& it was an easy transition!! Not having to pay an expensive security/key deposit as alot of other accommodation facilities*motels/hotels/any form of rentals * was fantastic too. The room was good for the price which out of all this weekend's rates was the cheapest but probably the best overall with what was still left available? All amenities in the pre-paid for room were good but the couch in their made it better also. Only thing I didn't like was the television wasn't picking up all the main channels or it wasn't tuned in properly after the bad weather recently maybe?
The motel is better than I expected. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the airport. There is a bus stop at the door, which is very convenient. The front desk was very welcoming and gave breakfast, milk cereal and bread. The room is ok, tidy.
Bupper within walking distance of Gold Coast Airport in Coulangatta. I booked a private room to recover because I stayed in a very noisy 々 good buffer 1 weeks until the day before my stay (laughs) I don't have a single for four consecutive nights, and the first two nights are twin singles It was like 50 〜 60 Australian dollars per night in Su, and 40 Australian dollars per night from the third night? Still, it is broken compared to the surrounding hotels. (Australia is really expensive and hard to stay) Also, it is good to move because it is difficult to move at check-in, so if you ask if you can't do it in the same room during your stay, you already have a reservation I was told I couldn't. Still, the staff was good. Except for the owner, the staff were all friendly and nice backpackers (laughs). The facility itself was old, well maintained, and there were several public spaces, and the privacy was moderately protected and cozy. Dark room, dining room, bright room with billiard table, spacious garden where smoking and BBQ can be done, garden with pool, and other garden with bench 5 places? There was. Unlike the buffer in the city, it was such a buffer that I wanted to stay again in a calm atmosphere. There are no restaurants and supermarkets around, but it is close to the airport, so it is good for the night before the flight or the rest after entering the field. I will definitely stay again soon.

We had a really lovely one night stay. Jetstar canceled our flight home so we had to find accom for one night. Wasn’t expecting much from a hotel right next to an airport but it was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Reception staff were lovely and got our room ready early for us, bar and restaurant staff excellent. Even the security guy at the rooftop bar was chatty and helpful We had yummy pizzas from the downstairs bar for dinner and the buffet breaky was very reasonably priced and great quality. The hotel itself and rooms look modern and are spacious. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Excellent beds, we had a great sleep It was rainy so we didn’t try the pool but that also looks really nice All in all was a fantastic stay

Our check in was on a Saturday. Reception is not manned for weekend check ins - received a text with a code to the key safe at the front door which contained envelopes for guests checking in. The envelopes contained two sets of keys and fobs, plus instructions for parking and access.
After parking the car we made our way to our unit on the fifth floor, using the fob. In the unit, was a well appointed kitchen, living room with dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and large screen TV. The bedroom had a king size bed and side tables, a two door wardrobe, and a small adjoining ensuite.
The location of the Meridian Tower was excellent - across the road from the beach, and close to several restaurants and cafes.
A crisp, white apartment but only one towel to last for the week. When I asked for additional I was told it was going to cost $10 per towel. Talk about disappointing. I have never stayed at a place that is so stingy! My daughter uses two towels when she showers, one for her body and one for her hair. We also had to use the towel to mop up the leaking shower. When I mentioned this they couldn't have cared less. With two Queensland Blokes running the show, it's no wonder they had no idea what the needs were of their guests. They told me ”You have a washing machine and dryer”. Yes but I am ON HOLIDAY do I want to be washing and drying every day, the short answer is NO. Again, did they care, nope, not an iota. The swimming pool looks lovely but its freezing cold so using that was out of the question. When we left I asked if we could stay another 30 minutes and depart at 10.30am. Their answer, (big sigh) I suppose so. Gosh, sorry, I have just stayed here for a week, paid you a big sum of money and that's a problem. When we left, we dropped the keys off and politely said ”goodbye”. In return, we got nothing from them, not even a ”we hope you enjoyed your stay”. We will never stay here again. If the vibe at Reception is bad then not much else is better with this type of accommodation. The only advantage to staying in Coolangatta is the closeness to the airport, the rest of it is a retirement village. You certainly wouldn't go here for the fun and entertainment that the Gold Coast can provide.
The apartment has the Wow factor when you enter it as the view from 1002 is spectacular. We have stayed at various apartments in this building and this has one of the best views. We loved watching the whales from the balcony. We were booked for a 3 week stay and, sadly, the kitchen was lacking. There was no microwaveable dishes and no oven dishes. However, the frying pans were practically new. Nearly all the kitchen cupboards were empty. I like to use table mats and coasters to protect the property but there were none. The lounge furniture was very comfortable. I'd like to suggest a table lamp or subdued lighting would be good on an evening. It was a beautiful apartment just not very homely. The mattresses in the master bedroom could do with being renewed. I probably wouldn't have noticed any discomfort for a short stay but after 3 weeks, it was telling. We would return to Iconic Kirra as we love the location and apartment size.
We just had a 7 night stay at Golden Riverina. The location is great being close to the beach and shops/ cafes. For the price, the resort is very tired. There is a lot of grout missing in exterior tiles and a lot are chipped being unsafe especially around the pool area. The key swiping gets frustrating. Don’t leave your room without your key or you can get locked out. It would be nice to be able to freely move around the resort once you’ve checked in. For a 7 night stay please provide more dish washing liquid etc. I know you can get it from IGA, but surely for the price of the stay, enough dishwashing liquid could be provided. Be prepared for stairs. We were on the 6th floor from the carpark with no lift for luggage. No aircon in the main bedroom. There was a lady manning the pool gate and bubbles of the spa. She was very friendly but off putting to our children. She picked up on their names and was telling them what to do. Made them confused and uncomfortable. I probably wouldn’t stay again unless we got a ground floor room at an off peak time.
