"Location is not that near to the airport, but there is a shuttle service that you can request for a small fee. Considering how this is an airport hotel, we actually really enjoyed our stay here. The room we had was really spacious and well soundproofed and we were able to enjoy a good night's rest before our flight the next day. Would recommend!"

"I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. Highlights • Beautiful bay views from the room • Impeccable cleanliness • Super comfortable bed • The Birdcage Bar: great cocktails & vibe • Would happily stay again! Tip: Be sure to request a room with a bay view - it’s worth it!"

"Room was big and comfortable, and overall great value for money. Booked a room with “mountain view” and got it, albeit at a slight angle from the window.  Location of the hotel is fantastic- just a short walk down to Salamanca market, farm gate market (even nearer) and the docks area. Though, my room was also facing the main street and is a bit of traffic noise that bleeds in - more sensitive/light sleepers may want to request for a different facing room (you lose the mountain view though).  Self service laundry is available at a small cost (coin based), and gym is actually an anytime fitnesss a few blocks down from the hotel (they have some sort of partnership/arrangement for hotel guests). "

"The hotel's location is excellent. Not only is it the first stop for the SkyBus, but it also offers unbeatable sea views. The market, museum, and park are all within walking distance. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and the rooms are cleaned meticulously. The hotel breakfast is delicious, and there are many dining options nearby. In short, everything you need for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing is conveniently accessible. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room on the top floor, which was a lifesaver for our four or five-day stay. Check-out was also a breeze. You do need to bring your own slippers, though. I especially want to commend their room key booklet. Unlike other hotels that just give you a sleeve, theirs is a travel booklet filled with recommendations for great restaurants, tourist attractions, and even includes booking phone numbers and email addresses. They've put so much thought into it! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit."

"I went to Hobart specifically to see the Northern Lights, and this hotel was perfectly located right by the airport loop bus stop, making it super convenient to catch the earliest bus to the airport in the morning. Plus, it's just a short walk to the nearby CBD."

"The room is clean and spacious, and comes with a well-equipped kitchen and washing machine. I also like to read the stories and display boards around the hotel on its history as an old woolstore. Didn't have time to try the hotel restaurant but it looks good. Overall a very comfy stay, will definitely come again when I visit Hobart again."

"location is spot on, just a short walk to the pier and city centre, making it super easy to explore. However, the facilities feel dated and weren’t very clean. Amenities are minimal, with no room cleanup service during my stay. To top it off, there was ongoing refurbishment that I wasn’t warned about beforehand. Great spot if you’re on a budget and prioritize location, but expect basic and a bit rough around the edges."

"We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel."

"The room was spacious, view was good, location perfect. There was car park next to hotel, but fee was expensive. Overall everything was excellent, I will consider this hotel next time. Staff was very nice & helpful. The bed was so comfy. If there is bath tub, that will be perfect!"
