Lovely location above the bay, Restaurant was closed for our entire duration - would have loved to dine here as the reviews are quiet commendable. But in fairness, I was informed After... I booked to stay!! We were able to get a few supplies for our breakfasts and we dined out for dinner. Rooms have Thin walls, so not really ideal for two adult couples to share... Bathroom was only fitted with a shower curtain, water splashed everywhere! But the comfort of cabin in total was very accomodating and a good size, staff had pre set the warm air-con to on, for our arrival... A big plus, in the middle of winter, and appreciated. We will definetly try booking in Summer, next time we are down! Only five minutes walk down to Port Arthur historic site, a good general Store near entrance to lodge.
Amazing location clean rooms great restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful going out of their way to assist with pointing out local attractions that should be visited. Restaurant had a full menu despite having little bookings due to COVID and the food was very good as well as reasonably priced.
On arrival, the staff had already turned on the heat in my room as it was a cold day and opened the restaurant bar for pre dinner drinks. Highly recommend staying at this location
Conveniently located near the heritage site of Port Arthur, this accommodation offers several some buildings with rooms including fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and the room is comfortable, I however regretted that the front desk was closed during our stay and we had to pick-up and return the keys in a box. Hence no option to get recommendations and suggestions.

The tent is very well kept, clean with everything you need for a short stay.
Kitchen is well equipped with lots of utensils, cutlery, kettle, fridge and microwave. There is a BBQ outside at the verandah.

Bathroom is in outstanding condition - clean with modern equipment.
The only negative moment - poor WiFi. Couldn't connect at all.
Would stay there if visit the area again.
Quirky place. Our room was very nice but looks like it has recently been renovated with new furniture and tiling in the bathroom but just a few old surfaces still left that detracts from what could be a beautiful room. Only 1 bedside table is a strange thing to have in a queen room. The bed rolls away if you sit up against the bed head. But, I had a fantastic sleep with what feels like new bed, bedding and pillows. I felt it was strange that the bed did not have the top sheet, just a quilt. The food at the pub is typical pub food and very nice but in my opinion expensive. $30 for a chicken schnitzel, tiny salad that can really only be called garnish and a small amount of hot chips. But it was ver nice. Saying that, so far I am finding Tasmania is expensive which says a lot considering I live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
The best experience of the whole journey, BB is located on the mountainside next to the white sand beach, we arrived later, the owner greeted at the door. The room faces the storm bay, the scenery is beautiful, the owner is also a tourist, very talkative, carefully introduce the facilities, provide coffee juice and so on. Breakfast 10 knives, the owner's own continental breakfast, rich in content.
I started booking our holiday in Tasmania well before we knew that Covid border restrictions would allow us to go. So I ruled out any accommodation, tours and excursions that did not allow free cancellation. Abs By The Bay was one such place. Once we arrived on the island I looked again at Abs and saw that it seemed far superior to the place I had booked for a similar price. This proved to be a good decision. We stayed in the Skippers cottage and it was really excellent. It had almost everything we needed or could imagine that we might need. The setting is lovely in beautiful gardens and a short stroll down to the bay. We stayed for one night and the following morning it was 12 C and windy when we had breakfast. The only table and chairs are outside and it would have been a hassle to move them inside where there was little room. So we ate sitting on the bed. This is my only criticism of the cottage. It should have been built a little bigger so that there was room for a table and chairs. Too late for that now but the place is just a little bit too small to be perfect.
Got a free upgrade as the room they had was unavailable. We had a short flight of steps to our accommodation with a great view of Pirates Bay and across the road from the Tessellated Pavement. Modern clean accommodation with a kitchen. A must do is the costal lookouts and Port Arthur. Staff very helpful and had dinner in the restaurant. ( I would pass on the garlic prawns)

DD了个YI am here #I am here# Port Arthur Historic Site Don't look at the beautiful mountains and clear waters here Now the green plants are lush and quiet. The quiet and quiet look like I thought it was sad and sleepy at the beginning. I didn't see the sky. I couldn't live in a prisoner.
凤凤凤吖吖Tasmanian Devil Park is a good place to see the endangered Tasmanian Devils, and the kangaroo is in zero contact with ..... all the way north to Swansea, all the way to the pleasant scenery.
陌陌染MMTraveling to Australia, this stop came to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, to the Tasman Peninsula. The Pirate Bay is a bay above the Tasman Peninsula, sometimes the waves are quite big. There are four wonders on the peninsula - Tasman Arch, board sidewalk, devil kitchen and water spray hole are all familiar to everyone. Several attractions are not far away. You can play them all at once, but the wind in the attraction is relatively large. It is recommended to pay attention to safety and winter need to keep warm.
Ppxy0705The Eagle Neck Gorge is the most famous attraction in Hobart, which faces the sea and has a magnificent view of the strait. As the name implies, this canyon is like the neck of the eagle, very narrow, and 10 points steep, it is worth visiting.
陌陌染MMTo travel to Australia, this stop came to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, to play on the Tasman Peninsula. The board road is located on the Eagle Neck Gorge on the Tasman Peninsula, composed of rectangular "boards". Here is a natural phenomenon, because the crust is pressed, hydrodiogenic fracture is formed of rare erosion landforms, with the low tide water diagenesis dehydrated dry, the surface formed salt crystals, under the influence of salt crystals, the ground appeared a seam, that is, we saw rectangular.
