"The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant is truly a hidden gem—both the food and drinks were outstanding. The only issue I encountered was with the air conditioning in the room. It was quite noisy, so I turned it off before bed to get a better night’s sleep. However, I woke up early in the morning to find it had turned itself back on and the room temperature had dropped to 18°C which was uncomfortably cold. I mentioned this to the front desk during check-out and the staff member sincerely apologized and assured me they would look into it. I appreciated the way the situation was handled. And the other thing is the room is a bit overpriced."

"Well run, the rooms were ready for us, clean. Although small the rooms were, we were busy all weekend and we were there to sleep in them not host a party etc."

"Amazing stay – highly recommended! This place was fantastic! Free parking with plenty of space, and the building is new, clean, and very comfortable. The room had a modern TV and even a Bluetooth speaker, which was a nice touch. There’s also a kitchen, so we could cook our own meals – super convenient. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the indoor pool. We didn’t try the water slide, but it looked like so much fun – perfect for kids! If I ever visit Kelowna again, I’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommend!"

"The rooms are newly renovated and spacious. But the plastic cups and disposable cutlery make the experience worse. There was also a weird smell coming from the sink."

"The in-room air conditioner was excessively noisy, necessitating its disengagement and the subsequent opening of a window. It is difficult to envision the situation during a particularly hot summer evening. Additionally, several large trucks were parked and engaged in the unloading of goods each morning at 6:00 PM. Notably, one of these trucks was positioned directly beneath our room, which proved to be an extremely irritating occurrence. The infrastructure of the hotel, particularly considering its recent opening, appears to have been inadequately planned to accommodate guests."

"It's easy to get in and out facing the road. Convenient with fast food and supermarket in front of you It was good that the hotel had a refrigerator and microwave"

"The furniture and bedding of this hotel are also good, the environment is beautiful and comfortable, the service is very thoughtful, it is close to the shopping mall, there are restaurants everywhere, and it is convenient in the city center."

"I almost didn't book here because it appears to be a 1950s motel with fresh paint. That would have been a huge mistake. The location is perfect for wandering downtown and the parks by the lake. The room was bright, colorful, and one of the cleanest ever. I couldn't stop being amazed by the updates and upgrades, and all the bright colors kept me smiling. The color matched vw bus in the lot defines the character. I will choose Hotel Zed again over any of the boring up-scale or traditional places to stay in Kelowna. It's different, fun, and a great place."

"We had a wonderful stay! Very quiet location and we especially enjoyed the lower level room opening into the beautiful grassy courtyard area. A short walk to the pool and hot tub! And the breakfast was simply delightful. All the staff were friendly and we would like to commend the fine, professional and helpful staff at the front desk - always a smile that made the day bright!
