The location is on the edge of the port, and there is a COWS ice cream shop 10 meters from the east gate.
The clerk is professional. Breakfast is not included, it is a la carte system, but the price is actually acceptable between 17-24 Canadian dollars.
The facilities include a swimming pool and a gym. The gym is very large. In the swimming pool, the old white man and the old lady are doing extravagant things, which is also drunk.
The last hour of the swimming pool is adult only time, but there are still children in it after the time has passed. The security staff helped clean up in time. very good.

Hotel Halifax is the best hotel that I lived so far. Rooms are very clean and also service are way above my expectations. The only key point is the restaurant is pretty good. The two most memorable person (s) that I meet so far. First one is a nice young lady. Her name is Leah. She’s super nice and welcoming. She is very outgoing; professional and hardworking. She also have a very nice smile to brighten people’s day. Her wonderful smile is like a shining diamond. The most memorable thing I remember she did is she showed me a detailed map and make sure I know where to go. She also explained to me in detail about how to access the hotel. A big thank you for Leah’s wonderful professional service and always with a great nice smile. Leah is also very very polite too.Another person that I remembered is a gentleman named Nir. He is very helpful and polite. Overall. Every staff at the Hotel Halifax are very polite and helpful. Including the restaurant ones. Make sure if you want to live in this hotel. Look for either Leah or Nir to do your check in process. They will make you feel comfortable as you are in your own home. Big thank you to every staff at the hotel Halifax. And an extremely big big big shout out to Leah and Nir. They are most thoughtful person. I feel so appreciate for both Leah and Nir. P.S: Leah is also a very warm-hearted person that I meet. Definitely will come back for Leah and Nir only. 10/10 or 100/100.

Hi Jamie I felt it best to write to you directly as to our recent disappointing stay at the Halifax Homewood Suites. We have been coming to Halifax and staying at your hotel for many years and always found it to be among one of the best which is particularly one of the reasons for our disappointing stay. Admittedly Covid has made our routine Halifax visits for work and social events non existent in the past two years. Recently we had a booking at your hotel and were called the day of our stay that our room was not available due to a mechanical issue. This happens and we understood. In fact we were quite happy with the alternate location that you provided us at your sister property. So we made a second reservation for this past Saturday night staying until the following day. We arrived for check in at 3:15 and were told our room was not available as cleaning staff had not been able to get to our room yet. We were unable to get an estimate as to when it would be completed. We were accompanying friends who also had booking issues but were able to get their room after some confusion. We decided to go with them until our room was ready so I asked the front desk to call us there when it was ready. I was told they were cleaning our room, which was 503 shortly and we would be called. Approximately 1 hour later we were called that our room was now ready. This was inconvenient but understandable. We collected the keys in a sleeve and again were told room 503 was ready. Proceeding to that room we found the door open and cleaning staff still inside. I questioned this and was told they were doing VIP clean inspection. She asked us to come in and departed. We unpacked our belongings, used the facilities and my wife began to touch up her hair and makeup for our 530 reservation. I took the opportunity to unload the dishwasher and then went down the hallway to get ice. When I returned my key didn't work so I knocked to get in. We had two keys so I picked up the second one to try it. At that point I realized she had written room 403 on the sleeve. I phoned down to the front desk to clarify the error and no one answered. We realized we had been sent to the wrong room so we packed up our belongings and went down to 403. The keys worked so we appreciated the error. I again called attempted calling the front desk but the phone did not work. The safe also did not work. The internet did not work. We went back to our friends room as we were now late for our reservation. I called the front desk from their room and notified them of the events and failings. She told me she could give me keys to room 503 but I explained we had moved down to to 403 as per the writing on the sleeve. Our friends called and cancelled our reservations as we were now late. Upon returning that evening I again called the front desk in regards to the phone, internet and safe issues. They told me they made a note without solution. We have had such great experiences with your hotel in the pa

Finally Halifax has an outstanding hotel which stands up to all the rest. After reading the reviews of Muir Hotel I was excited to give it a try on a recent business trip. It did not disappoint, and in my opinion is a destination in itself. The people working there are smart and kind, the accommodations comfortable and welcoming, and the location first rate. I also enjoyed the fitness facility and restaurant, five stars to all. It is more expensive than the local competition, and worth every penny.

Our trip from the moment we arrived was perfect. I’ve never seen a whole hotel’s staff so friendly! The room is beautifully done, we had an amazing view of Citadel Hill, very comfy bed, in-room Nespresso, plush towels - an absolute treat. We had a fantastic meal at Chopped too. We loved it so much we’ve cancelled our upcoming reservation at a nearby hotel for March Break and are returning to the Sutton Place.

Stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It was our first visit to Halifax. The Prince George is perfectly located, within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and the waterfront, as well as the Citadel. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is excellent- best buttermilk pancakes I’ve ever had. If you want a quieter room, I would suggest a room facing the back toward the Citadel. We would definitely return to this hotel - it’s a gem!

From the first moment on arriving, we were disappointed. There is space for 2 cars to park for check in in front of the hotel. Then $25 a night for parking across the street in an unsecured lot. Who pays $300 a night to drag their luggage across a street? The website clearly states a restaurant, otherwise I would never have booked here.. . it is my main criteria for booking, When I asked I was told it closed a year ago, then why is it still on the website? My irritation was ignored by the desk. The room was so cold, we cranked the heat up to 31C and the fan continued to blow cold air. When I called I was told to turn it off and they would bring up portable heaters. No, come and fix it. The technician came promptly and basically said the system was not working but he could turn off the cold air but could not fix the heat valve as ”his boss hadn't shown him how”. He would bring a portable heater. BTW I heard other guests complaining at breakfast about the cold. I would have cancelled my next night booking but that meant not having a room between noon and 4 PM, not exactly the point of staying two nights. The one, and only one, redeeming factor was the breakfast complimentary for us as gold Hilton Honors, otherwise $14 and $18. Our server was also very pleasant. Check out - the clerk was so unfriendly and dour, not even asking if we enjoyed our stay. This trip has undermined my faith in Hilton, as we have not had a good stay this year, and we have spend 10 nights in Hiltons.

I was very satisfied with the double bed for the first time, but this time the single bed was shocked. The toilet is half as big as last time. The soundproofing is also poor, and it doesn't feel like the same hotel as before. Maybe the top floor hasn't been renovated yet. This time the room doesn't deserve 800 RMB at all

LLuu Phuong LanI recently stayed at Sandman Signature hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated
GGuest UserConveniently located close to the airport. They have a free shuttle that runs through the night. Excellent place to stay for middle-of-the-night or early morning flights.
We stayed here on the last night of our Nova Scotia trip because we wanted to be close to the airport. The rooms are beautiful. The check in process was kind of informal- we just had to go down to the bar and find a certain person, and paid her right then on a portable card reader. The reservation was done through email. It was kind of warm, as only one of the bedrooms had an a/c unit, and we didn't notice it at night. FYI, it's above the window and the remote is inside the desk! We stayed in the Thomas Suite, which has two bedrooms. It's on the top floor. I think the other rooms are smaller. There is a common area on the second floor where the coffee maker and microwave are. They had a few board games, a fireplace, couch and a balcony. There was cold water in glass decanters in the fridge, and all the glassware was chilled in the fridge as well. There was yogurt and juice in the common room fridge, and our breakfast consisted of muffins, fruit, and granola bars. It was noisy until the restaurant closed, but after that it was pretty quiet. The one drawback was getting there. It is on a busy road (we arrived at rush hour), and there is only one way in and out. The parking lot is kind of small, but there were a couple of spaces when we got there. Also, when we came in off the highway, our GPS instructed us to turn left at the stop sign, which was next to impossible. I gave up and turned right, and there is a roundabout about a block that way where you can make a U-turn.
This Inn was the worst place we have ever stayed in - from the booking process and not ever receiving an email confirmation to the hassel of their payment requirements. They are not in any way, shape, or form, handicap accessible. My husband is on oxygen and they tried to have us in a room on the 3rd floor - there is no elevator. The friends we were traveling with were then booked into the 3rd floor room; one of them is 82 years old. As she was bringing in her suitcase, she fell outside the front door in plain view of the desk clerk. While he did not move a muscle to help her, a woman who had just checked her aunt into a room, helped her up and carried her bag up the 3 flights of stairs. In the meantime, my husband and I went down a flight of stairs to our ”deluxe room” which came with a 2-3 person hot tub - in the room right next to the bed. This was probably why the room smelled of mold and mildew. The sliding glass door opened up to the pool area. When I opened the drapes, there was a couple basking in the sun right outisde our door. This hotel was built in 1972 - it appears there have been zero updates since then. And last, in all our travels, the final bill is paid upon check-out. Not here. They charge everything upfront upon check-in and good luck if there is an issue. The only reason we stayed here is we needed to extend our 2 rooms for a second night and to be near the airport. Our original booked hotel could not accommodate the second night and this is what was available. I think I would have preferred sleeping in the airport or the car over this place, especially since it was more than twice the price of the original hotel we had booked.
JJason zhOur family of three was traveling to Halifax and finally booked this motel. Very nice quiet environment with a beautiful view of the river. The service staff was very nice. I will go again if I have the chance.

SstellaThe most satisfying thing is breakfast, and finally there are scrambled eggs instead of just boiled eggs. The front desk is very good, the front of the door is the lake, it is a great pleasure to have time to sit and enjoy the scenery. Moreover, this is the only hotel in our entire Canadian itinerary that does not require a deposit, and it feels good to be trusted. recommend!
GGuest UserThe Hotel had renovated since our last visit and we booked accordingly, for an overnight stay. This turned out to be a mistake. 1) Upon checking in, we found that the room furniture & decor was very dated & in poor condition. Some efforts could be seen in attempts to update room decoration (including the bathroom) but damage to a wall had not been addressed 2) There was no soap in the room. I called to advise & was asked to come down to reception to get some. Upon arrival, I was told that the hotel was completely out, The solution was to use shower gel & were given extras 3) The TV didn't work because the wires had been disconnected from the box & TV. It appeared that when I pulled out the dresser to fix, I had been the only one back there in quite awhile 4) The Ice bucket in the room contained melted water from a previous guest with no replacement plastic liner. When asked, the service Staff were unaware of the location of any ice machines. After walking the 3 floors looking I had found 2 non-working machines. Reception went to the bar to provide a small bowl of ice. 5) Water pressure was virtually non-existent - the (slippery) shower pan had not been cleaned and because the curtain did not reach the floor, water was not contained. There were no shelves for convenience or Hand holds in the shower - very dangerous 6) Morning coffee was provided by only 2 Decaf packages - no regular 7) One of the bed's was off its wood frame & as a result, stuck out far enough to cause damage to the toe that was caught. 8) Front Desk had advised their staff that we had checked out (we had not) - we were terribly surprised when entrance was made at 9:30am 9) I sat on an (antique) couch in the lobby and promptly found out that there was no seat support. There was no indication that some furniture was not safe to sit on. It was evident that money had been put into making the hotel more attractive on the surface, but it could have been better spent in averting these kinds of reviews.

LLavender and SunTo buy Chinese products, you still have to go to a Chinese store. There is one on South Street, very close to the school, but the products are relatively limited. I usually go to Jiahua, next to Sobeys in Fenwick. The products are relatively complete, and they are basically shipped from Toronto. However, some products may have been stored for a long time, so everyone should pay attention to the expiration date when buying.
Peggys Cove
我我见青云多妩媚Peggy Bay is a must-see to Halifax. The lighthouse is on the island, facing the sea and the scenery is beautiful. There are souvenirs and local specialties on the tower, and it is very meaningful to buy a little to commemorate. There are restaurants around, there are a lot of people, we didn't go. There are also special lobsters, fished out of the sea, cooked in time for you, it is necessary to taste.
Museum of Natural History
1137***66【View】Best Museum in the World
No natural history museum can compare (sorry, Smithsonian). It's huge, but well laid out and modern. The exhibits are special, like the "T-Rex" is exceptional. As a bonus, you get to go inside the Hayden Planetarium. Take the subway from the underground entrance at 81st Street - this is a shorter line.
Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21
DDory·LThe stories of the older generation of Canadian immigrants are here, and they are so touching that you can't help but cry. This used to be the landing point for immigrants, the dock for passenger ships, and the place where immigration procedures were handled. There are transfer guides inside, and you can listen to them carefully explain the immigration stories of those days.
Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk
MM23***63The coastal trail is a pleasant place with beautiful sea and sky. You can visit the Immigration Museum and the Maritime Museum along the way and read about the history of Hafa. You don't have to get up too early to watch the sunrise at the beach, watch the cruise ships coming in and out, and enjoy a leisurely time.
