The hotel is right outside the train station, which is very convenient. The suite was also upgraded. The room was large and very clean. The front desk staff is very nice! There are many places to shop and eat around

I was double charged, check in was rather rough, check out as well, they disabled my card too early, there were access issues with the gym. Overall, service was really a problem.

My daughter and I stayed in a traditional Queen room (2 Queen beds) and it was spacious and bright, with a good size window in the room and a small window in the bathroom. I enjoy the view out to the park and city lights at the front of the hotel. We always find the beds at the Nova Scotian to be exceptionally comfortable. On one occasion we heard noise from other guests, but other than that it was very quiet. We had the package with the breakfasts included and were able to use our vouchers for the full buffet or for any one menu item. If you like overnight oats, the banana cranberry oatmeal on the menu was excellent. The omelet and waffle station at the buffet is also great. We had a couple of dinners at Seaport Social, and can particularly recommend the amazing french fries - always a treat! As usual, the highlight of the visit was the welcoming and friendly staff, especially Lee and his team of valets at the front door. The valet parking service is excellent. Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

Westin Nova Scotia is a lovely hotel, but unfortunately the room we stayed in (437)may need a bit of TLC. The room was quite warm, and temperature adjustments did not seem to help. We kept the window open the whole time, which was great - without the fresh air the room was quite stuffy. There is what appears to be some water damage on the ceiling near the window as well. Also, the bottom of the bathtub is quite soft and spongy -- might be a bit dangerous for someone with a mobility issue or poor balance. Finally -- there was a dark stain on one of the pillows. I do like this hotel and have stayed a few times, but did feel the need to point out a few deficiencies this time around. Hopefully those can be addressed. Thank you!

I admit, I travel a lot and get perks..:but the Westin always surprises me at another level. Room 900 seems like the best room in the house. Next time my wife is coming on business with me! What a beauty stay. Can’t wait to do it all over again as summer arrives

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and made to feel special. Only in Halifax for the weekend to visit someone in the hospital, they had our room ready early, were ready to assist with transport anywhere and recommendations as to where to eat and what to see on our downtime, the little there was. Turns out, they were so great we stayed and ate at the bar with the greatest of company in the bar staff that night. We are so grateful for the support we received from everyone, including the lovely doorman who had such nice words for us every time we left for the hospital.
