Very special hotel, half an hour from the airport, self-driving, free parking, parking lot with luggage cart, you need to pull your luggage into the room.

Friendly staff and very clean. There is nothing to challenge. Washing is heard, but to rest at night this is out. Window front and balcony go out in the direction of field. Design is industrially maintained with concrete cover and wood elements.

Restaurant Schmitte: have looked at the rooms briefly over the day. We liked it very well, so we came back to dinner. Friendly reception, discharge of the clothes. The Stv. Restaurant manager recommends the current house apéro in bloomy words: we order this, as well as a tomato juice. To eat we select the 2-farbige caroten mousse and the salmon forelle in the glass, as well as the zander filet and the Pata-Negra Tagliata. Everything tastes very fine - compliment to the kitchen! The main corridors are very generously portioned. To do this, the (very competent) restaurant manager recommends the red Quarteto of Lenz - super! Despite the full restaurant we are carefully taken care of, including by the apprentice (see next sentence). Also very positively, we are also impressed that in this business youth are trained with support needs. All respect and appreciation for the patrons of this house, and congratulations on this beautiful operation in this quite well-reconstructed historical apartment!

We arrived after a long drive and the owner gave us a warm welcome and invited us to sit down with a welcome beverage… that was very much appreciated! We also had dinner at the restaurant that evening and it was excellent! I was traveling with my sister and we both ordered the special of the day - trout with roasted vegetable potatoes. It was absolutely delicious! And the after dinner mojito was incredible. Thank you for the great service and stay.

This was good hotel pick. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend and stay here again. English-speaking staff were throughout the hotel. It's located one block over from a multitude of shops, cafes, and restaurants. There was even a outside free concert for 2 days with great music. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. The train station is about half a mile away. Please take the train in from the airport as my the taxi arranged by the hotel cost $200 USD. I later found out I could have taken one train ride in for $13. I stayed in room 202. It had a great view of the outdoor on-site restaurant, with a comfortable bed, and updated bathroom. The complimentary beverages in the fridge were much appreciated. The housekeeping was exceptional. I would have appreciated an outdoor space to sit out and enjoy the great weather. The room came with a very large glass sliding door but without a screen to shield the room from bugs and the many birds. This was only 1 of the 2 things I found fault. The other was a personal preference. The onsite restaurant had a very good free breakfast with lots of variety. I did not like the dinner menu. I ordered the bass one evening and was not impressed with the taste or portion size. It was dry and not seasoned well. The service on that evening was lacking, however, I ordered take-away on another evening and was well-pleased. I sat at the bar and had a glass of sweet white and excellent conversation with the server while waiting for my hamburger and fries. Both were amazing. So much so I went back on another evening to order the hamburger and fries again, but, sadly it was not being offered that evening. I paid an additional 39 CHF to check in at 7:00 am with the check-in a pleasant experience. The check-out went just as smooth. I walked the 4 blocks and hopped on the train to the airport.
