"For this family trip, we chose a family room with a view of the Southern Branch of the Forbidden City. We thought we could enjoy the light show of the Southern Branch of the Forbidden City outside the window. However, when we asked at the counter, we found out that this activity is only available during the summer vacation. What a pity!"

"The hotel is decent with mainly wood structure - nostalgia feel. The location is also very convenient near to the train station and bus station. There is a 7-11 which is just next (or rather up the stairs) in the same building. It is nearby the old street as well. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with the directions going up Alishan. There is water dispenser near the staircase. We had the dinner at the hotel where it serves by per pax. The portion of the food is big and sufficient for our group of 5 to eat."

"The location is convenient, being right next to Zhaoping Station. This makes it easy for guests to take the train in the morning to Zhushan Station to watch the sunrise. However, the service quality is substandard. The receptionist can be impatient and unfriendly, even towards Chinese-speaking guests. The shuttle driver has also been observed speaking negatively about guests. When requesting a drop-off at the bus station, the shuttle will not take you directly there, so be prepared if you have heavy luggage*. For reference, the Alishan Hotel (not Alishan Gou Hotel) shuttle does stop directly at the bus station, so it is possible. * Stop at park entrance instead of bus station. This is inconvenient for elderly and young children as well."

"The breakfast was delicious! For those staying in a double room, getting to breakfast requires going outside and then walking to the lobby, which could be inconvenient if it's raining. Aside from that, everything else was pretty good. I would definitely consider returning if I have the chance."

"We stayed here for two nights. The owner is very nice and helpful. My wife had motion sickness and she gave us some ginger tea to help relieve the upset stomach. We really appreciate her kindness. The location is good, on 54.2km Tai 18 Route (台 18线），very close to Tea and Mist trail and Eryanping trail. Linchuo (林厝） station is 200 meters away and Xiding (隙顶）station also very close. Bus #7322 carries you from the above stations to Alishan Station in 1 hour. It’s great for a day trip. When we choose places to stay, we care about room cleanliness and shower water pressure. We are very happy with both. Breakfast is included and served on rooftop with beautiful mountain views. If simple but good enough for us. You can also enjoy the sunrise here."

"The hotel is located near Renyi Lake, with a beautiful environment. You can also walk around the area, which is a good choice. The room is clean and spacious, but the bed is a bit hard (personal habits vary). The breakfast dishes are relatively traditional and basic, and overall they are pretty good."

"The property is located off the Alishan highway and nestled within a tea plantation near Fushan. It is not anywhere near any amenities, nearest one is at Shizuo about 10+km away. Rooms are very clean and well kept, you can expect breathtaking views if you have a room with a balcony on the top floor, lower floors will have little or no view into the mountains. The area around the property is mainly tea plantations and farms, good for a short afternoon’s exploration before dinner."

"The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a shuttle bus from the visitor center, and it’s also very close to the Trees area, making it easy to explore on foot. Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. I recommend arriving before 3 p.m. if possible leave your luggage at the hotel, take some time to walk around nearby, then come back for dinner. We only stayed for one night and arrived late in the mountains around 8 p.m., almost missing dinner. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful and kind, and they helped us so we were still able to enjoy our meal. The food was great, and all the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!"

"We originally booked a building block room, but when we checked in, the counter staff told us that we could upgrade to a parent-child room for 2,500 yuan at our own expense. The room was three times larger, so our two little ones would have more space to play. The room was very clean, and there were two children's sports cars that could be driven freely in the closed lane in the parent-child center. The little ones had a lot of fun. There is also a large bathtub in the room (the kind of square bathtub you find in hot spring hotels). It's a pity that for breakfast you have to walk to another banquet hall, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk, which is really far. I think it would be more convenient to drive there*** Overall, the hotel environment is quiet, clean and comfortable, very suitable for families."
