"Very much enjoyed our short stay at the Taoshe. 3 nights during December, so the place was quite quiet. A super location in the old part of town and very close to the river. Rooms are very nicely done. Attractive, warm, comfortable, decent size, and clean. Buffet breakfast was very nice. All staff were friendly and helpful too. We didn't do any of the inhouse activities as we spent most of the time around the town itself. 'Resort' just probably a bit of a grand title (in English), but it is a very pleasant and functional base, with some local character and history. Would definitely recommend it if you're venturing out to JDZ."

"This Jingdezhen guesthouse cured my inner turmoil 🍃 Who among us stressed-out workers can relate? This Jingdezhen guesthouse has become my annual mental sanctuary! The moment I stepped into the courtyard, life instantly slowed to 0.5x speed. The standalone courtyard feels incredibly spacious, surrounded by greenery and birds. Koi fish swim in the pond, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels both secluded and healing. The owner is clearly a stickler for details – from the tea table made from old door panels to the fruit served in rustic pottery bowls. Even the lighting and angles are meticulously designed, so every photo you take looks like a professional shot. The services offered are incredibly rich. There's a free pottery experience daily, making your own cup is super meaningful. You can enjoy tea on the terrace with a view, or in the dedicated tea room, soaking in pure relaxation. Breakfast is exquisite and delicious. The butler thoughtfully guided us to a local wood-fired kiln, and there's even a free costume experience. The lunch recommendations were close by and delicious! The air conditioning is always on in every space of the guesthouse, making it incredibly comfortable. It's perfect for artsy types who want to escape the city and are tired of influencer-style guesthouses, or parents looking for unique activities with their kids. No need for check-ins or photo editing; just sitting here watching the clouds is enough to fully recharge before heading home 💪"

"The room was clean and tidy, though the location was a bit hard to find. However, the surroundings were quite pleasant, a real hidden gem. The owner and staff were very welcoming. The hotel even offered a complimentary pottery wheel experience nearby, which was a nice bonus, though firing required an extra charge. Before checking out, they also gave us a beautiful ceramic bracelet. The only downside was that the room was too close to the elevator, so it could get a bit noisy at night when guests were coming and going. The location itself was decent; it was only a six or seven-minute walk through an alleyway to Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Street, perfect for getting some photos in the morning before it gets crowded."

"luxury hotel right in the middle of the action. surrounded by ancient kiln and smokestack relics. location has everything from street fair potters selling pieces for a few dollars to high end galleries selling pieces for thousands of dollars each. buy pots or throw your own at one of the many studios - some have over 100 wheels. lively night market. quiet plazas in the mornings with folks doing everything from tai chi to aerobic dance. many dining options on the surrounding surface streets. cars aren't allowed inside the Taoxichuan complex but a taxi can drop you at the hotel steps."

"This place was truly a complete escape away from life, and it was so difficult to leave. The location was incredible, but more than that, the service provided was unlike anything we have ever experienced. The staff, Juanjuan and Xioaxia, were always so friendly and ready to help us with whatever we needed. As we are not from China, there were quite a few things we did not know how to do or were unable to do without a Chinese phone number, but with Juanjuan and Xioaxia, we were able to navigate those waters. Do not skip out on visiting the whole property and experiencing all they have to offer! Every staff member from the bar staff, reception, waiters, etc were all so wonderful and kind. We are already planning our next trip back to this little escape."

"This is an old five-star hotel with chaotic traffic. I waited about ten minutes in the hotel parking lot before finally finding a spot. The experience was terrible.
