"The hotel was built by the descendants of the Kong family in the Ming Dynasty. It is located in an alley in the ancient town. The environment is very good and very quiet. They also have cats and dogs, and they interact with guests lovingly. The butler service is meticulous and considerate, and their work attitude adds a lot of warmth to the hotel. The breakfast is rich and nutritious, welcome fruit is given every day, and souvenirs are given when checking out. Worth another visit!"

"Just returned back to the UK after staying at The Jinyuan Zhangfei Hotel We had a family garden room which was perfect. We could not fault it and had everything we needed. Very comfortable with a lovely view. All reception staff were very good, some even spoke a little English. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. We had a family meal in the restaurant and was very well presented and very good. Location is perfect for the ancient city, walking distance to shops and just a short taxi ride from the train station. We will definitely be returning."

"The hotel is in the great location and you feel like you moved in time. Room is clean and shower works well. Beautiful courtyard downstairs. Breakfast let us down. There was no fresh orange juice or average food. The room can get hot even with air conditioner on. I did not find it as an issue but if you plan to arrive in August or June it could be a problem. There is a cosy wibe in this place and we would come back. Price is excellent."
