The rooms offer no soundproofing from any direction, making it suitable only for travelers with low expectations. It's pet-friendly, which is nice, but I was woken up early by a loudspeaker outside, the dog barking next door, and noise from the corridor – it was incredibly lively. Housekeeping only performs basic cleaning, and as an older hotel, there are many unclean areas. It seems to host many senior tour groups, which might be a bit overwhelming for individual travelers. I don't really want to say much more about that. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the West Gate of the ancient town, and there's accessible transportation right outside. The staff are quite enthusiastic and generally helpful if you have any issues."
