"Great for kids! You can feed the fish, and during Chinese New Year, they even had extra activities like writing 'Fu' characters and making Chinese knots. The breakfast was pretty good with a good variety. The hotel's front entrance faces the river, and the back entrance leads straight to the ancient town, which is super convenient. There's also a large parking lot. Aside from the price being a bit steep during holidays, everything else was perfect."

"The location and service were great, very close to the parking lot, and the decor was tasteful. My child was initially very happy and even wanted to sleep on the tatami mat, until we found a cockroach on it. That made us completely uncomfortable; the child tossed and turned all night while sleeping with us. The worst part was the blanket – I don't know what material it was made of, but it made a lot of noise, waking me up several times throughout the night. The room was completely uninsulated. Lying in bed, we could hear people talking next door. The owner provided earplugs, but these cheap earplugs didn't solve the soundproofing problem; they just made things worse for the guests. I also don't like wearing earplugs. Overall, the price was on the high side, as prices and accommodations in Langzhong Ancient City are generally high."

"The hotel is located on the riverfront, offering views of Langzhong Ancient City from the room. Nanjinguan Ancient Town is within walking distance, and Baita Mountain is also nearby, making it very convenient for travel. The room not only has a beautiful view, but is also spacious and bright. The cleanliness is impeccable, with crisp sheets and quilts, and every corner is spotlessly clean, making for a truly reassuring stay. The hotel service is also exceptional, from the front desk to the room attendants to the restaurant staff, all of whom are polite and responsive to any questions. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and the front desk staff also thoughtfully provided me with many recommendations for sightseeing. The hotel's breakfast is also quite generous, offering a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. I especially want to praise the noodles; the rich broth and chewy noodles were so satisfying that I couldn't get enough. Staying here is truly worth it, and I'd definitely stay here again."

"This is a fantastic guesthouse with a great location, close to parking and nearby attractions. The owner recommended several excellent restaurants, all within easy reach. I even stumbled upon their local market, where Baoning vinegar and Huazhen beef shops are conveniently located. The guesthouse itself is upscale and elegantly decorated, with well-designed, clean, and fully equipped rooms. The wooden structure does have some soundproofing issues, but thankfully everyone I encountered was very polite. The courtyard is very quiet after 10 PM, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. When I left, the owner even gifted me authentic Baoning vinegar and Zhang Fei beef, exactly the same as what I bought – a thoughtful touch!"

Our river-view room offered a panoramic view of the river, especially enchanting at night when the lights of the ancient city on the opposite bank illuminate the scene. The hotel is very close to the ancient city; just across the street is the Jialing River, making walks convenient. A taxi ride to the heart of the ancient city takes only a few minutes – a truly prime location. 🛏️ Rooms and Facilities: The room was spacious and large. The bedding and bathroom facilities were well-maintained, with a soft and comfortable mattress ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area and was spotless. Notably, the hotel's kitchen was recognized on Langzhong City's ”Red List” for its cleanliness, organized food storage, and standardized operations, giving us peace of mind while dining there. 💁 Service Experience: The front desk staff were warm and professional, and check-in was expedited. During our stay, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room free of charge, arranging a room closer to the lobby with a better view, which was a pleasant surprise. The doormen were also very proactive, helping with our luggage and pointing us to the parking lot; their service was excellent. 🍽️ Dining & Others: The breakfast selection was plentiful, especially the local rice noodles, which were delicious. The hotel also has a children's playground, so families with children will find something to enjoy. Summary: Whether for a family trip or a romantic getaway, this is an excellent choice for accommodation in Langzhong. The excellent service, beautiful environment, and reliable hygiene made it feel like great value for money, and we will definitely stay here again next time we visit Langzhong!"

The traditional Chinese courtyard, with its pine branches interspersed throughout, offered picturesque views at every turn, making for stunning photos. The room featured a huge TV and a soft bed – perfect for relaxing in the evenings watching anime and sipping milk tea. The room's details were impeccable; the bedding was clean and odor-free, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, completely eliminating the dampness often found in older guesthouses in the ancient city. The owner was incredibly welcoming, not only recommending delicious local cuisine but also giving me a souvenir with a message about getting rich overnight – they truly understand the needs of working people. Staying here allows you to enjoy the slow pace of life in the ancient city while experiencing the comforts of a modern guesthouse – excellent value for money! Next time I'm in Langzhong, I'll definitely choose Chengxianglou again!"

"Had a very comfortable stay this time! The environment is great, close to the scenic spots, and taxis are easily accessible. The staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. We were traveling with elderly family members, and they took extra care of us, not only sending detailed directions in advance but also recommending many fun places and delicious eats, which was incredibly thoughtful. The cleanliness was also excellent, making our stay very reassuring. Great value for money, I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"Wayan is one of the best guesthouses I've stayed at in China. First, its location is convenient; even if you park outside the ancient city, it's only a few minutes' walk, and it's close to all the attractions within walking distance. As for the environment, the moment you step into the courtyard, you're captivated by the idyllic atmosphere of a traditional Chinese house with its bridges, streams, and traditional houses. The courtyard's decor is exquisite and elegant, with picturesque views at every turn. Sitting in the courtyard, drinking tea and relaxing, you can lose track of time and simply enjoy the tranquility. The rooms feature Chinese-style furniture paired with Western-style sofas, along with tasteful artwork and aromatherapy, creating a charming and harmonious ambiance. The rooms are impeccably clean, so you don't have to worry about the typical hygiene issues of a guesthouse. What impressed me most was the owner's service. Our three families booked three rooms, and the owner helped us find parking, carry our luggage, and provided unlimited fruit. Besides the fruit platter already provided in the room, we wanted to add oranges, but they were out of stock. The owner immediately went out and bought a large platter of oranges for us. When we were about to go to bed close to midnight, we realized we didn't have enough blankets, and the owner immediately brought us a new one. Oh, and they even gave us a lovely Langzhong souvenir. The owner's warmth and thoughtfulness greatly enhanced our travel experience in Langzhong Ancient City. It's a highly recommended guesthouse. I hope the owner's business thrives, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I have the chance to visit Langzhong."

"I stayed here during the summer and couldn't have been happier with the room's air conditioning. It was also quite pleasant to stay in during the day. The entire hotel is adorned with antique charm, making it a very comfortable stay. I was hungry at noon and ordered lunch from their restaurant, which was very authentic. Located in the ancient city, it's convenient for exploring the attractions. The Jialing River is a 7-8 minute walk away. At night, I strolled along the river to enjoy the night view, then headed back to sleep. Upon check-out, I received complimentary aromatherapy tablets, supposedly a collaboration with the Forbidden City, and herbal tea. A special thank you to all the hotel staff."
