A group of 12 people booked four rooms. This is the most textured homestay we stayed in during our trip from Malaysia to Chengdu. Each room has a different design. The environment is petty bourgeoisie...it is a popular designer folk style...but for families with children, these are not the key points, because skiing during the day, sleeping at night, and leisure time in the public environment are very little. The service is very enthusiastic, and the mobile heater is given to bake the children's snow clothes, and the invoice is very positive. The bathroom details are good, and the bath water is full. There are welcome fruits and desserts, and evening milk, which the child says is delicious. Let's talk about some flaws: the room is really small, and the price/performance ratio is not high compared to the room rate of more than 800. The facilities are average, the screens are broken and the air leaks... Especially the meals, there are only local hot pot chicken hot pot and hot pot for dinner! Not to mention the high price, it is not suitable to take the children out to eat these... The food is genuine and the quantity is sufficient, a family of three can eat more than 300 chicken hot pot and there is a lot left, which is wasteful and the breakfast is relatively simple.

The B&B is located in Pingtou Qiang Village. The location is okay. It is quieter than the county town, but it is more convenient than living in the ancient Qiang City. The room is better than the one in the photo, spacious and bright. The decoration incorporates the stone-stacked style of the ancient Qiang City, which is quite ethnic. The boss is very nice and provides a nanny car to pick up and drop off guests at the high-speed rail station, which saves a lot of work for a family like me. The maids in the restaurant are even more enthusiastic and will prepare breakfast according to the guests' requirements and deliver it to the room. The floor heating in the house is so powerful that we turned it off when we slept at night, otherwise it wouldn't be too hot. The private bathing pool is also very large and can be used as a swimming pool for children. I will probably stay at his house next time I go to Maoxian, but I will definitely book two separate rooms. The bed in the attic of the parent-child suite is actually impossible to sleep on (the mattress is placed directly on the ground, and after a day of baking under the floor heating, even if the floor heating is turned off at night , it’s also very hot when you lie down on it; the attic has all glass walls and no curtains, so the afternoon is as hot as summer, and at night the lights on the roof are on all night long, making it as bright as day). Later, the boss was very considerate and gave us an extra bed, but because the sink and bathroom are right next to the bed, it would disturb the sleeping people if someone got up late or early to wash up. But overall, the flaws are not hidden. It is a warm B&B. The owner is also running the hotel with care and takes good care of the needs of the guests. It would be perfect if the hardware can be further improved.

The room is new and quite big. The suite only has partitions but no doors. The bathroom is spacious. The suite has three beds, two 1.5-meter beds and one large bed. The room we stayed in was next to the elevator, and the noise was a bit obvious at night. There was also a door facing the elevator in the room. Although it was locked, it leaked light. The hotel is an independent area, very quiet, with accommodation and restaurant in one building each, which is quite grand. There are two charging stations, but there seems to be no laundry room. The restaurant environment is good and the staff are very enthusiastic.

The hotel is located in the middle of Maoxian city. There are few employees compared to the size of the hotel. Arrive at the hotel around three p.m. There is no staff to help carry the luggage, have to lift each other. The receptionist did not check the information well, saying that the room was not reserved. The result is that the staff are not thoughtful, do not look at the information. Some bathrooms on the floor do not flow. The water was almost flooded, had to call the staff to come and see. Some bathrooms, air conditioners leak, dripping into the things.

Arrived in Maoxian, checked in, Fenghuangge Hotel, the local county town seems to be a large hotel! The sanitation is OK, the front desk service is also good, if the parking spaces at the hotel entrance are full, the security guard will point out the special parking lot for parking, breakfast is OK! Egg fried rice with some meat sauce is unexpectedly delicious [naughty]!

The most complete hotel in the scenic area Environment: In a well-developed villa area in the town, (probably) the lobby and restaurant converted from a housing center, a few villas are hotel guest rooms, and more are homestays, shops, and households, lively. During the Qiang New Year, there are fireworks performances every night, which is quite interesting. Sanitation: Our room is on the first floor, and I saw some peeling in the corners. In addition, the bathroom has a bit of odor. Every time I go in, it feels like someone has just stinked. Service: The delivery is very timely, but the breakfast is average. When there are many people, you have to wait for a seat, but fortunately, the table turnover is fast and the waiter cleans up very neatly.

The hotel is a bit old, but the rest is okay. I feel it's not worth more than 300 yuan.

This is certainly a retreat, it’s the most off the beaten track I’ve ever been in China. Situated in a beautiful valley next to a rushing river and pines. The rooms were clean and bright, and the common space was modern, including a large kitchen. Felt more like a home stay than a hotel, and ended up having a great night with the manager and another group of Chinese travelers. It is very far from the nearest main road, so getting there might be difficult if you don’t have a car. I would love to go again and explore the hills and the surrounding area more.
