Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, very quiet B&B with fresh air. We booked a pastoral room, which is very suitable for a large family outing. The B&B lady was very welcoming and the breakfast was good, especially the handmade steamed dumplings, which were super delicious. The B&B is right next to the ancient Qiang village, and we also watched the opening ceremony of the city and felt the Qiang village culture. The mountain behind is only a few minutes away, the scenery is also good, and travel is also very convenient.

Maoxian Qingfeng Xiaolou ticks all the boxes you’d expect from a solid budget hotel — clean rooms, comfortable beds, fair price. But what made this stay genuinely memorable was the owner. Two moments stood out. On our first evening, my girlfriend realized she had run out of contact lens solution. Without hesitation, the owner offered to drive us to the city center at 9 PM just to help her find some. That kind of hospitality is rare anywhere, let alone at a budget stay. The second thing impressed me even more. He proactively checked our checkout schedule and noticed we were leaving later than the other guests, who had an early tour bus. So he quietly moved us to a different floor — so we could sleep in without being disturbed by the commotion. We didn’t ask. He just did it. If you’re routing through Maoxian between Jiuzhaigou and Dagu Glacier, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land at after a long travel day. Highly recommended.

The guest room corridors are clean and bright, with warm, non-glaring strip lighting, and the common areas are very well-maintained. The room interior is simple and modern, with a spacious feel. The bed is clean and comfortable, and the blackout curtains work perfectly, ensuring an undisturbed rest. Housekeeping was meticulous and thorough, with no strange odors or neglected corners. The service was prompt and the reception warm and thoughtful, with quick and efficient check-in/check-out processes. The location is convenient for getting around, making it suitable for both business trips and short getaways. Overall, it's quiet, comfortable, and offers great value for money, providing a relaxing and peaceful stay. I've already recommended it to colleagues and it's definitely worth coming back to!

Facilities: It can be said to be very good. The most impressive thing is that the hot water is really super fast. It feels like hot water when you turn it on. Environment: The overall is not bad, very close to the ancient city, and the Yi museum, very convenient. Service: The front desk is very warm, and the children like to eat candy at the front desk. At first, the TV projection screen in the room would not be used. I sent WeChat to the housekeeper and immediately came up to serve. I have written so much, but I still feel that I am really doing the hotel with my heart. The details are also very thoughtful. The children have asked to stay at this hotel next time. 🫢

Looking for a less crowded place during the May Day holiday, I chose this place. The price was good too. For a place with all the amenities—food and lodging included, plus entertainment facilities—both adults and children were satisfied. I originally planned to go to Jiuding Mountain, but the flowers weren't in bloom and the path was difficult, so I went hiking in Songpinggou instead, haha. Come back soon and the mountains will be full of cherries, and in winter you can even ski. I highly recommend this place if you're ever here!

This was my first time staying at this beautiful hotel. It's nestled halfway up the mountain, so it's cool and very quiet. It's far from the main road, so there are no big trucks passing by, which means no noise. The views here are excellent, and you can even go down and pick plums. The two ladies at the front desk were wonderful; their service was fantastic, and they wore traditional ethnic clothing. They answered all our questions and even upgraded our room for free. They proactively told us about local eateries and tourist attractions. Transportation is also very convenient, and the rooms are all very clean. It's genuinely cool here; you even need a jacket in the mornings and evenings. It's the perfect sanctuary to escape the summer heat, and I highly recommend everyone come here for a summer getaway.

Already home now. We arrived in Maoxian quite late, so we decided to stay one night, thinking we could catch the opening ceremony of Ancient Qiang City early the next morning. That day, I looked at many hotels online and finally chose this one. The price was very reasonable, offering great value for money. The toilet was a smart toilet. Parking was also convenient. It was perfect for our family, especially since the hot water pressure was excellent, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. It truly lives up to its name as an international hotel.

In the evening, I enjoyed a 50% discount on the ”Dreaming of the Ancient Qiang” performance with my room card. The immersive stage performance transcended boundaries, with Qiang flutes, multi-part folk songs, and light and shadow interweaving, creating a sense of time travel. The hotel is conveniently located right inside the scenic area, with friendly service and excellent value for money. It's a great choice for a deep dive into Qiang culture! Highly recommended for culture enthusiasts and travelers.

The hotel lobby and rooms are in different places. After check-in, someone took us to the accommodation area, which was a short walk, though only a few minutes, but it was raining. After checking in, we found there was no power. It was freezing cold, and after waiting ages for the engineer to arrive, it turned out the power had tripped. I mean, don't you guys check things beforehand? My child had already finished using the toilet, and when I went in, I found a cigarette butt in the trash can and ashes in the sink. (My child is only a few years old and doesn't smoke.) It was supposed to be a starry sky room, but with the rain, there were obviously no stars, but I still wanted to see them, but the glass was so dirty I couldn't see anything… To be fair, the breakfast was okay.
