"Overall, it was pretty good, except the mattress in the room was the highest I've ever had in a hotel, which wasn't ideal for families traveling with young children. The largest bed in the hotel is 1.8 meters, and twin rooms can't be combined. The facilities were relatively complete, and the service was good. However, a small incident at the end left me speechless. The day before, we had left our child's fresh milk in the hotel refrigerator to keep it fresh. The next morning, when we went to pick it up after breakfast, the person who had the office key that day was in a meeting and hadn't mentioned it. We asked the front desk to call several times, but they didn't answer. We finally got through after about half an hour before someone came to open the door and retrieve the milk for us."

The owner is super friendly and gave us a free ride to the nearby sights twice. He also provided us with helpful information about the area. Breakfast was simple but super delicious with porridge, youtiao, eggs, dumplings, soy milk, tea and coffee. I'd highly recommend Qingfeng Xiaolou to anyone visiting Maoxian."

There's a medium-sized supermarket downstairs, making it convenient to buy things. A pedestrian street and a farmers' market are also nearby, just a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. You can buy food at the night market in the evening, and in the morning you can go to the farmers' market to buy yak meat and sugar apples."
