The air in the room was fresh and clear, with no pungent smell. The hotel had undergone professional formaldehyde removal treatment, so I felt safe and at ease staying there. It was especially reassuring to bring elderly people and children. The hotel paid attention to details, and I was very satisfied with this hotel during my trip. They even provided complimentary fruit, which was super fresh. This hotel is highly recommended for its value. The receptionist was also very helpful."

"The room was clean and perfect for families with kids, as the TV allowed for screen mirroring. It was quiet at night, making it easy to fall asleep. Breakfast was provided and quite generous. We were four people, and the two queen-sized beds were very comfortable. The robot service was a nice touch and very helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"Maoxian Qingfeng Xiaolou ticks all the boxes you’d expect from a solid budget hotel — clean rooms, comfortable beds, fair price. But what made this stay genuinely memorable was the owner. Two moments stood out. On our first evening, my girlfriend realized she had run out of contact lens solution. Without hesitation, the owner offered to drive us to the city center at 9 PM just to help her find some. That kind of hospitality is rare anywhere, let alone at a budget stay. The second thing impressed me even more. He proactively checked our checkout schedule and noticed we were leaving later than the other guests, who had an early tour bus. So he quietly moved us to a different floor — so we could sleep in without being disturbed by the commotion. We didn’t ask. He just did it. If you’re routing through Maoxian between Jiuzhaigou and Dagu Glacier, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land at after a long travel day. Highly recommended."

"Facilities: Excellent! The most impressive thing was how incredibly fast the hot water came out – hot water was available the moment you turned it on. Environment: Overall quite nice. It's very close to the Ancient Qiang City and the Qiang Ethnic Museum, both very convenient. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming, and my child loved the candy they gave us. We didn't know how to use the screen mirroring on the room's TV at first, but after sending a WeChat message to the butler, they immediately came to help. After writing all this, I still feel that this is a hotel that truly puts its heart into its operations. They've considered every detail very carefully, and my child has already asked to stay at this hotel again next time! 🫢"

"From Jianyang, I came to Maoxian to see your Yi culture. I booked this one online. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. After we arrived, we also gave us a small gift. I like it very much. The room type is too perfect. You can see the snow-capped mountains. I live in the mountains and suck oxygen. The most important thing is that the facilities and daily necessities are replaced with new ones every day. It is worth mentioning that the boss and the proprietress also warmly entertained us. Breakfast and dinner are made by the proprietress herself. The alpine wild vegetables, homemade sausages, and the buns and soy milk are simply a must. I also bought sausage from the proprietress for me. It was really delicious. The boss was also hard. We went to play and was responsible for picking us up. I was really touched. There is still a part of the homestay in the decoration. It didn’t take long to open. The county leaders also came to eat and stay. It’s really great. I will come back next time I have a chance. ～"

"The good thing about this hotel is the size of the room and the view!! I got an upgrade to a bigger room but it was freezing cold as they only have a small heater.. If you don't have a car it's hard to get around. There was no elevator but the staff helped me carry the luggage, apart from that the staff didn't seem helpful enough to help me with other things."

"I was driving through Maoxian and stayed here for one night. I arrived too late to see the bonfire party, but I caught the city gates opening the next day. It felt like a perfect place for a wedding. Breakfast was at a different location (see Figure 2). Just down the road from the entrance in Figure 2 is the city gate. Show your room card to enter. It was a great place to stay for a night and experience it, and the price didn't increase during the National Day holiday."
