"The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was enchanted; it truly felt like a fairytale and brought such a joyful feeling. The hotel is huge, making it easy to get lost. There were so many guests that checking in required a long wait in line. Staying two nights exempts you from housekeeping and allows you to swap a dish at any restaurant. While walking around the hotel, I often bumped into giraffe NPCs for photos. The front desk lady even upgraded our room for free, which was wonderful! The room's interior was also decorated with a very childlike theme, featuring various designs perfect for kids, like two toilet seats (one large, one small) and two sinks at different heights. The only downside was that the hotel food wasn't very good; both the buffet breakfast and dinner, as well as the food court, were disappointing. During the buffet dinner, there was even a clown taking pictures with kids, so the interactive entertainment was really rich. The hotel also has hot springs on the ground floor, both indoor and outdoor, and I even saw capybaras there, haha. There's also Gaogao Amusement Valley, which has arcade games. Each room gets 5 free tokens per night, and each game costs 2 tokens. The arcade machines are very new and quite advanced; you can tell they put a lot of effort into building it, not just throwing in a few small machines to be perfunctory. Outside, these games might cost 6 to 8 tokens. The hotel is also equipped with a medical room and a barber shop, so the facilities are very complete. I'll definitely visit other Chimelong resorts when my child is a bit older."

"I highly recommend the Qingyuan Lion Lake Hotel; it truly offers a full-fledged, one-stop vacation experience, earning its well-deserved five-star rating! The rooms are incredibly spacious with exotic decor, featuring quality carved ornaments and distinctive light fixtures. Facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, the bathrooms are thoughtfully equipped, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed night's sleep. The private hot springs are perfect, and the indoor heated pool is great no matter the weather. The outdoor pool is surrounded by lush greenery, allowing you to swim and enjoy the views simultaneously. The water quality is clean and odorless, making for a worry-free and enjoyable experience. The front desk staff are professional and friendly, handling check-in efficiently. They proactively upgraded my room and introduced the hotel's facilities. Later, when I had questions, they responded quickly and attentively, providing impeccable service. The dining options are extensive: the Western restaurant offers fresh and abundant seafood buffet, while the Chinese restaurant serves authentic Cantonese cuisine, complemented by Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The service staff are enthusiastic, and the dining environment is clean and elegant. It's perfect for both family trips and romantic getaways. I've already recommended it to all my friends!"

"This hotel is new, clean, and stylish. It offers great prices, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast meets high standards as well, featuring a wide variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, there are two drawbacks to consider. First, there are only two elevators to access the guest room floors, which means you might have to wait for a few minutes during busy hours. Second, there are no charging facilities in the hotel car park, but fortunately, there is a fast charging station nearby. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel in the city."

"The room was quite spacious and nice. Breakfast at the Gulong Fishing Village was generally good, so we decided to have our last lunch there too. I have two suggestions for the Gulong Hotel: First, regarding the laundry room on the 5th floor (easy to improve): There's only one washer and one dryer, and the dryer doesn't show the remaining time. We checked three times between 8 PM and 10 AM, and there were always several laundry bags waiting, so we ended up taking our clothes home unwashed. Second, the full-length mirror: It's very pretty but not practical. At 1.65 meters tall, if I stand one meter in front of the mirror, I can't see anything above my head."

"Hygiene: Overall, it was quite clean, but considering it's been open for many years, some areas weren't cleaned thoroughly, especially corners, such as the tracks on the bathroom glass door and the tiles around the shower drain. They really should do a deep clean periodically. Facilities: The room equipment is a bit old, but still relatively clean. In the hot spring area, perhaps because it's summer, several gazebos were empty. The water park was decent though, with many people, and overall quite clean. Environment: Perfect, very relaxing. Service: 7-star service! From check-in, a young man named 'Xiao Hu' (surname Hu) helped carry my luggage to the room and gave a detailed tour of the resort. Honestly, what was most thoughtful was his initiative to proactively replenish supplies. That level of service awareness is really on point. Also, at the buffet dinner, there was a soup that tasted sour. I brought it to the attention of a staff member, a young lady, just to give feedback. She was incredibly responsible; she went to taste the soup from the pot, then came back and told me there was no quality issue. I insisted on my opinion, so she went to investigate further, even taking my bowl of soup with her. Finally, she brought me a fresh bowl of soup, explaining that it might have been caused by a customer using the soup ladle for an adjacent dish, thus spoiling the soup's flavor. She also mentioned they had already replaced the entire pot of soup. This act made me feel very reassured. Just because of a guest's comment, even during the busy dinner rush when they were swamped, she was willing to take the time to provide such service. This kind of service awareness is truly excellent! It's a shame I only remember the third character of her name was 'Feng'. All in all, this trip was very enjoyable, and the quality of service made it even better. I hope they continue to maintain this standard."

"We checked in on Thursday and received a complimentary room upgrade. The hot springs pool on the first floor was incredibly comfortable and clean. The front desk attendant was very gentle and informative, explaining the hotel's facilities and environment. Two young men kindly helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. The upgraded room was in Building 1, a bit far from the outdoor hot spring pools, so we opted to use the in-room hot spring. A packet of bath salts was provided, leaving our skin smooth after bathing. The first night's minibar was also complimentary, featuring two boxes of soy milk, Coke, and beer, plus a fruit platter. In the afternoon, we went out to take photos. The weather was lovely and sunny, and the flowers, plants, and trees were beautiful. The staff were diligently watering and cleaning, very hardworking. There's also a paid mini-train ride in the park. Our package included six archery shots, half an hour of mini-golf, as well as billiards and table tennis. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts are also available but require advance booking by phone. Our package also included a buffet dinner at the Brilliant Restaurant. Since the buffet wasn't available on Thursday, we were offered three options: a la carte at Brilliant Restaurant with an 800-yuan credit, a more standard 'order anything' menu with common home-style dishes, or a fixed set menu. I chose the a la carte option at the restaurant and ordered five dishes and a mango sago dessert. It was very filling, the food was excellent, and the service was perfect. We had black truffle conch slices, giant river prawns, casserole perilla mountain snails with free-range chicken, mango sago, and cumin pine nut baked lamb rice (which was incredibly delicious, though it took an hour to prepare. The crust was fragrant, and the lamb was excellent). The stir-fried fern shoots with dried shrimp was also very tasty, with a crisp yet tender texture similar to Chinese broccoli. Breakfast was also very rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as steamed dim sum. All the staff were fantastic; they would introduce dishes and help clear plates quickly as soon as you approached the counter. There are also many children's facilities in the park, and it's a pet-friendly hotel with an outdoor pet park. The only downside is that there aren't enough signposts in the park. Even with a map, we still got lost frequently, haha."

"Great hotel, clean, great room service, nice staff. It’s possible to wash your clothes in washing machines that are accessible with no extra fee. Washing detergent is provided. They also have drying machines and a place to air dry your clothes."

"The indoor pool is for members only. There's an outdoor pool that's free to use, but it seems to be outsourced, as non-hotel guests can pay to use it too. When checking in, we were given a stamp card for a gift. I thought it would just be small toys like figurines or toy cars, but when we redeemed it, they were large boxed toy sets, which made the kids incredibly happy. The kids' play area is right next to the breakfast restaurant and is quite large, so kids can play there for a long time. Late check-out until 2 PM was excellent."

"The service is super good and the location is super good. It is surrounded by mountains and water. The Taihe Cave behind is very suitable for a walk in the morning. The air is fresh and refreshing. The mountain spring water in the tap is indeed ”softer” than the water at home. The housekeeper is on call and can meet most of the needs. I rarely write reviews, but it is really great and worth coming again."
