"I think this is the perfect hotel for a trip to Nuremberg.
It's about a 20-minute walk from the central station.
There's a tram running right next to the hotel, making it easy to access tourist attractions.
There is a fan in the room, which is sufficient for the German summer."
"The hotel is very easy fitted with self check-in stations and a vending machine with all the necessities.
The rooms are nice and cosy. Down the street to the left it is a business district and bus station, so a lot of people and packages everywhere, but to the right is an amazing bakery with delicious breads.
The hotel is only a few 100m away from the old town with quite a few restaurants and shops along the way. In the old town almost on every corner is a different musician which really adds to the beauty of this city.
Was a great stay!"
"good location really clost to the main train station and little walk to the town center. nice design good room, clean bath room. only problem the chaos in the reception. very busy , i make self check in and the sistem show me room 120, bed 1. i go up and the room is full and no space left. i go down i say my problem and the reception guy say my bed is number 4. i say ok but also is someone there. the answer: becouse i late check in (15:00 is late to him). give me other rommnow 317, bed 3. i go up and my bed also someone. i go down again and i say whats happen. he say he give me bed 5. i say he give me 3 not 5. i show the small card what he give and write there 3. and he say its not 3 is 5. maybe for you, but also say number 3 and his answer im not right , i remember wrong ( 15 minute s i not remember) . ok i dont care , im not play this game and just go and capture bed 5."
"A good hotel in itself.
Breakfast is really great.
Room is clean.
I just thought it was a shame when I checked in that, despite having booked a double bed, I was given a room with two single beds on the grounds that I could push the two beds together to make one. Because that's the same as a double bed. :(
It's like ordering baked potatoes in a restaurant and instead being served fried chips on the grounds that they're made from potatoes.
So I lost points for the service."
"We stayed for 1 night at Park Plaza Nuremburg to have a quick visit of the old town before flying out the next day. The hotel suites our purpose well. It's located just across the road from the train and underground stations and allowed us to explore the old town on foot. Room is clean, modern and well equipped. We had a comfortable stay."
"The room is spacious and clean. I am especially impressed with their buffet breakfast, which is thus far the best breakfast I have experienced in Germany. What’s more is the extensive hours for breakfast. At weekends, breakfast is served from 6.30am to 12pm!!! It really considers guests’ needs to get up late at weekends."
"the biggest problem of this hotel is there is no front desk service. If you are foreign travelling without a German mobile, it will cost you a fortune for you to call the front desk. Also the lady behind the phone, I think, is a Russian. Unless you are a English speaker, it will be quite difficult for you to understand her. Also the wifi availability in each room depends on whereabout your room is. Other than that, there is really nothing to complain about."
"The room was quite clean, and they provided a large bottle of sparkling water. The size was just right, but the bed was incredibly soft, so much so that it gave me a backache. It's very close to the main train station, making transportation super convenient. Artisan's Street, with plenty of food options, is right across the road. It's also not far from the old city center, just about one subway stop away. I'd still highly recommend it."
"I arrived at the hotel at less than 10 in the morning. The receptionist was very nice and immediately gave the key to check in. (Few hotels are willing to check in early). The only downside is that there is no elevator, but I still carry my luggage on the 2nd floor. The room was originally known to be not air-conditioned, but there was an electric fan. not bad. About 4-5 minutes from the train station."
"I can only recommend the hotel! Very inconspicuous from the outside, you go into a small passage and then up the stairs one floor. Very nice welcome from the housekeeper. We even got an upgrade, as my boyfriend is over 1.90m tall and the room with the booked bed would have been a bit small. Room large and very clean! Bathroom very functionally furnished, everything there (shower gel, hair dryer, facial tissues...) The breakfast was fantastic and left nothing to be desired. The service was very friendly and we were asked about our wishes. The location of the hotel is also great. We will be happy to come back any time, especially as the hotel really offers very good value for money!"

Great
ZZactotoThis is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!
GGuest UserI found it just a short walk from DB station.
It's also about a 10-minute walk to the old town.
The B&B breakfasts weren't very appealing so I ate outside.
The room key is a pin code so it's easy.
Nothing special was done when checking out.
AAnastasiia KireevaI stayed during the festival. Excellent hotel with breakfast. I would like to separately mention the receptionist who checks in at night, this is probably the only hotel with a 24-hour reception desk. A very friendly man, it is even interesting to just talk to him. After the festival, there was a small incident (after checkout), but he understood our situation, allowed us to sit in the lobby, poured tea, just chatted 🤗 the only thing was that there were not enough slippers in the hotel, otherwise there are no issues. The room is good, two bottles of water and two beers are free 😁 tea, coffee in the room, there is a balcony
SShuk YiClose to S Bahn station. 10 minutes' walk to the old town district where the wonderful Christmas markets are. Good location.
The best part is the breakfast, served from 6:30 - 10:30am. Very generous spread of bread, pastry, salad, sausages, grilled veggies, cheese, etc. We love the breakfast there.
Staff are helpful, warm and welcoming. The hair dryer broke down after a short use one evening. I brought it to the receptionist, he immediately checked it and gave me a new one.
The only downside is the shower cubicle is too small.
YYaoayaoyaoThe room is not small, but the facilities are too simple. There is nothing except two rolls of paper towels in the toilet. And every day, facing the same German breakfast, I just want to go home quickly. The most important thing is that the price of this hotel is ridiculously expensive during the exhibition. If the room rate is not so expensive, everything else is not a problem.
GGuest UserNot much to say. It can all be summarized to a very clean room, a decent location (walking distance from the old town) and as one of the nosiest hotels I've experienced in my life, you simply can't get any sleep. 100 euros/night for non stop noise are too much in my opinion.
AAnonymous UserVery convenient location from the central station, just take the lift from the platform down to the passage underneath, one way to the hotel and another way to the shopping mall. Stay away from the busy old town but can walk their in 10 minutes.
Improvement on the instruction to the hotel from the cental station : direct the customers to take the lift at the end of the platform, after reaching the passage underneath, go towards the larger numbers of platform and the exit for the hotel will be there.
When we arrived at the station, there were so many people going up and down and no indication for lifts, maybe in German!
