What a find! This modern, spacious and well equipped two-storey villa has 5 bedrooms and is a world of luxury. A 20-25 minute walk from the airport along a safe dual use cycle path / footpath, you don't need a taxi or a bus. We booked Magma Rooms for the first 2 nights of a 7 day visit, as was arriving late 10pm+ from the UK. A second night at Magma was good to explore nearby restaurants and visit the beach in the day. What can I say about the room? It had everything you needed from free-to-use safe, flat screen TV, power shower, hairdryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets. In the shared facilities there is a Nespresso machine and mini bar fridge (pay via honesty box) as well as wine glasses, bottle opener etc. They have thought of everything! After check-out we then walked back to the airport to catch the # 161 bus to Puerto del Carmen (1.40€ each).

this hotel is perfect if you want easy way to get to airport the next day. there is a bus stop 5 min walk away, the buses connect all the island. the staff are efficient and polite. they helped me print my boarding pass at no charge. I didn't try the dinner buffet(half a dozen dishes)but looked good for about 18 euros. there is a big map of arrecife on the wall that you can photo and use to get around the city. we had a sea view room, recommended the view is nice.
Feel ripped Off, DID NOT GET ROOM WE PAID FOR. PAID €144 for a room with a Seaview. On arrival found Major road work and traffic redirection outside the front of the hotel. Reception put us in a ground floor rear of the hotel room 116 so we we're not disturbed by the roadworks (which we're finished by 5pm and silent) Room 116 is just about street level on the redirection traffic route and hence very busy with traffic and people until the early hours of the morning. We asked to move to a seaview room that we had PAYED FOR, but told not possible as only there one night. We had little to no sleep and a very poor stale croissant breakfast. Explained this to reception staff on checking out, they we're not interested and just said 'Goodbye'. We asked if they care about their customers and the older male reception staff member said 'No!'. They are mis-selling these rooms and not informing customers of the major road works out front of hotel. We feel ripped off and will never go there again. Anyone considering going to hotel Lancelot, think again and go elsewhere, as they see you as a cash cow and will get plenty more customers THEY CAÑ MISLEAD. Shame on them ! See photos blowout of unclean bathroom, road work and view from our Windows and traffic passing until early hours of the night, hotel Windows offer little noise reduction.
Nice and clean and great location. Street it is on felt a little dark and we were wary walking down it at night. Only downside was noise levels , everything seemed to echo so we could hear doors slamming, people walking and talking all night, shower from room upstairs etc
Would recommend especially for price and value.

This has been the most wonderful holiday. I'm standing here looking at The Arrecife Gran Hotel and Spa and I want so much to run back in. Its a marvellous hotel but it's the staff that are the heart if it. They are the most friendly and helpful staff that I have ever encountered. The reception is not the old counter style, it is 3 beautiful tables and comfy chairs and there are so many of the reception staff and they all seem to speak English so well. I must give a shout out for Ruth who is just starting her career as a member of the reception staff. She was courteous and friendly and helpful despite being very new to it all. Our room was an Ocean view suite and it was perfect A very large room with a sofa and coffee tables for relaxing and a table and chairs at the floor to ceiling corner glass windows showing the fabulous view of the Bay and harbour, so beautiful. Everything is automatic so when you open your door the curtains swish open to reveal the magnificent vista. Little sensor lights pop on at night to guide you to the toilet and back without all the main lights coming on. There was a bottle of tasty prosecco to greet us, a coffee machine, pods replaced everyday also a kettle but do bring your own tea bags. Two small bottles of still water are provided daily too oh , and chocolates. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the room was almost soundproof. Could fault it. Now for food. We booked B&B but when we arrived they offered us a couple of deals and we availed of both. One was book some meals at their buffet and the more you book the cheaper it becomes so we booked 4 nights which I think worked out at about €22 each per night. Then they offer a clever deal where you agree to pay a certain amount in advance to the hotel, to spend in the hotel and they give you a little credit incentive on it . For example, we paid €130 and they added €10. Brilliant idea. Breakfasts were fabulous, everything you could ever want. Warning , if like me you don't like much salt then tell the chef ' sin sal, por favor ' they use rock salt and its very strong. One of the Breakfast chefs was a wonderful lady called Anna. She was so lovely and also helped me with my Spanish every morning that she was there . The buffet meals are themed but it was all beautiful, plentiful food and not a bun fight, plenty of room. The Sky bar Blue 17 on the top floor is a must. The view are incredible and the food is very reasonably priced for such a fancy place. We didn't realise they had entertainment up there and sadly on the two occasions we went up there we missed it but never mind there is always next time. The sun lounge terrace was lovely but being lined up on beds on a terrace is not for us or the beautiful but small indoor pool when you have the beautiful sandy beach and clear sea just outside the hotel. The area is fabulous for food and drink though. The Spa was gorgeous and we had a free spa session included which was lovely but I also bo
I stayed here for 6 nights in February 2023. Normally I would prefer my own place but they are at a premium in Arrecife and there is no way I would stay in a soulless purpose built resort. The main reason I chose this place apart from the location was the fact that the rooms have fridges. It's not a five star hotel but for what you get the facilities are pretty good. The staff are lovely and the rooms well appointed with comfy beds, a well appointed bathroom and of course the fridge. The pictures also showed a kettle but this was missing but they said it was fine to take a small one from the communal kitchen. The kitchen too is well appointed with everything you need to cook and prepare meals and there are several supermarkets close by as well as ATM's. The location actually is brilliant - a few minutes from the lagoon and the shopping area, 10 minutes from the bus station and maybe half an hour to the beach. The terrace is lovely for relaxing and reading. The only problem really was the fact that the walls are so thin - some of those who stay here seem to be long term residents and the couple next door made an awful racket getting up in the morning with music blaring our and doors slamming. You can hear almost everyone in the corridors. I left after 6 days and went to La Graciosa for the weekend and then spent one night in a room without its own bathroom which was much quieter and had a small balcony. In some ways this was better although I do prefer my own bathroom. All in though it's a good place to stay for those on a budget.
