Great hotel option for a Barcelona city stay. We really liked this hotel at the edge of Barcelona city. This hotel is still within zone 1 of Barcelona so you can use a 1 zone public transport to get to and from almost anywhere in Barcelona. The location is pretty good but it is a bit close to the La Mina neighborhood which is a poorer neighborhood of Barcelona. There have been improvements in the neighborhood but it is still recommended to stick to the areas that are near the hotel or the south and west of the hotel (towards the sea) if you plan to stay out late at night. We found the area very convenient for us as we arrived early morning and the Forum metro station is nice and the area immediately near the hotel has reasonable level of security and local police presence. The hotel reception and team was very cordial and serviceable. The room we got was very good, had a nice balcony and it overlooks the nearby student accommodation so it was silent at night. Breakfast was very tasty and had enough of a food variety + delicious breads and iberico ham.

It was very convenient from the airport to the hotel by bus and train! The staff at the reception were friendly and it was always fun to say hello! Even when I was in trouble, he was kind to me! There is a supermarket nearby, so I was able to save money even on days when I didn't eat out!

Top hotel! Very welcoming and attentive staff. Very clean room with towels, shower gel, toothbrush, etc. available. The decor is quite sober but chic! We were able to enjoy the Diagonal Mar shopping center which is about a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The area is very well served by public transport, but there are also scooters and bicycles to rent via apps. Between the excellent hotel and the inexpensive taxis, we were able to have a ”luxury” weekend without breaking the bank too much. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the swimming pool due to lack of time, but it was an excellent weekend.

A bit far from the city centre, close to the shopping centre and to the beach. Ask to stay high up , better views

Awesome place.. the most amazing staff.. my all time best hotel on my tour so far.. the location is a bit off main areas but I don’t mind the extra transport cost. When I say absolute best, I mean the very best. Breakfast is awesome.. front desk staff, all super helpful. Will definitely be coming back. I love!

Double book, Ctrip reality can not be refunded. The front desk of the hotel said that it is possible to refund, but they can't refund, they need the platform to refund, let me contact the platform. I contacted Ctrip, told the hotel's suggestion, and refunded the room fee for 4 nights. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and I also stayed here for summer vacation last year. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is rich and the service is good. The swimming pool is on the 13th floor with a nice view.

I would recommend this hotel. The location is close to the metro and near the centre. Also there is a beach with walking distance. The pool is great in the day and there is a lovely Colombian lady there who is great with kids. In the evening we watched the football and it was great the following day we watched the England v Netherlands match and both the waiter and waitress told my son to not celebrate the goal. Without giving any reasons, it ruined the match and soured our whole stay.

Really good hotel! WiFi awesome. Breakfast also very good. The location was not so convenient, but there is a bus station in front of hotel, and also there is a Metro station about 20 minutes walking from the hotel . The staffs? Ualll! They are so nice and friendly. I never saw staff in hotel like this one. They are so attentive and try help you make your stay there nice as possible. If I come back to hotel? Yes sure!

Perfect location, near the beach. The room was spacious and clean, staff were very friendly especially Frankie. There’s a big mall across the the hotel with lots of local and foreign restaurants. We wanted to extend our stay here for 2 more days but unfortunately it was fully booked that time. My family and I enjoyed our stay at Hilton Diagonal Mar. 😎
