GGuest UserWij verbleven hier 3 nachten als uitvalsbasis om de streek te bezoeken. Nabij Honfleur en Pont Audemer, centraal geleden, ruime parkeergelegenheid, mooi gebouw met een verhaal en geschiedenis, kleine maar nette kamer, aangenaam onthaal. We betaalden 170€ voor 3 nachten met ontbijt, wat ons een goede deal bleek te zijn. Helaas waren wij heel teleurgesteld door het ontbijt. We kregen enkele voorgebakken ontbijtkoekjes en enkele stukjes stokbrood, confituur maar geen choco, een potje yoghurt, wat cereals en als enig beleg een sneetje gekookte ham en een sneetje gruyère kaas. Drie dagen net hetzelfde. Wij keken uit naar een echt Frans ontbijtje met op z'n minst een eitje en een stukje Camembert gezien de regio :( De eerste avond hadden we gevraagd om te kunnen dineren. Bij vertrek werd ons nog 83€ gevraagd voor 2 personen : een eenvoudig 3-gangen menu met 2 kleine glaasjes rode wijn, een biertje en een soft. Dit werd meteen de duurste uitgave die we hebben gedaan tijdens onze reis en was tè duur voor wat het was. Ter vergelijking hebben wij in een gerenomeerd restaurant 72€ betaald voor een 3-gangen menu met fles witte wijn. Dus zoals eerder gezegd.. goedkoop bleek alles beschouwd wel dure koop.

GGuest UserThe hotel is modern in name only! It really needs a refresh! The paint is peeling everywhere! Quite a few cobwebs above the bed that weren't from the day before. After reporting them, they were removed, telling us that in the countryside there are always cobwebs, that they will come back and that this proves that the hotel is healthy! Still, we could do without it! As for the bathroom, the fabric curtain is not hygienic and there is a strong smell of sewer coming from the sink trap. There is also a 2nd socket missing around the bed. It's a shame because the welcome was very friendly! The train station opposite doesn't bother you at all, we didn't hear any trains during the 3 nights! The electric shutters are nice! On the other hand, the walls are not very thick! In conclusion, for a short stay it can be ok....

I booked via ******* with cancellation possible up to 2 days in advance. Following a computer problem, neither ******* nor the hotel agreed to cancel my room. So I had to review all my planning so as not to lose money and decided to turn this page. Welcoming a person whose smile is not honest. It’s overplayed! No comments about my prior cancellation request either. Room blah blah: Stains on the walls and carpet, TV from another era, hairs, no cup to brush your teeth, hard mattress, completely damaged table, furniture also damaged, zero soundproofing. All for 85 eur! At the start, no one at reception. This is what awaits you.
