Find the Cheap Aviemore Hotels

When we first arrived at the hotel we were greeted warmly and given checked in fairly quickly. I had chosen a “cosy double room” didn’t realise quite how cosy this room would be. The bed was smaller than a regular double bed and the bathroom was pretty small too. There was plenty of parking in front and behind the main hotel building. Our room was in the courtyard which was separate from the main hotel building. The courtyard is not well signposted and we were quite confused trying to find our room initially, we had to ask a cleaner for directions. Other than being small the room itself was fine. The bed was fairly comfy and there were spare pillows in the small cupboard. The room had tea/ coffee making facilities and a tv with multiple channels. The walls were pretty thin so we could hear everything the people next to us were saying so bare that in mind. The bathroom appeared clean at first but upon further inspection the shower had spilled soap/ shampoo on the floor from the previous people that stayed there. Next to the hotel is the woodshed. The Woodshed was cosy, clean and served a variety of different snacks and drinks. Amy who works there was very friendly and welcoming and showed good knowledge of the surrounding areas. It also had popular music playing and a pool table. Dogs were welcome in this area. There was a real fireplace in here however this wasn’t lit when we visited.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star. Top range 3 star at best. The room was clean. It was advertised as a king sized bed, however putting 2 single beds together is very misleading. The Italian restaurant, the staff are nice but the service is very very slow. Took me an hour to get food. The location is ideal. The sports centre is good and spacious. The pool is good fun. The gym needs a complete modernisation program. Not enough equipment and in a very small room. The sports centre could utiltse space more effectively and have a state of the art gym in the other bigger rooms. It would be used well, however this is sadly not the case. I will return and use this hotel in the future. The price is not cheep and if your expecting Hilton quality then this is not the hotel for you.

Booked this hotel last minute really good deal- bargain price. Room was ok size wasn’t the biggest nor the smallest hotel room for two people to spend the night it was more than enough room. Bathroom was lovely also. View not the best over looking the side/car park/kitchen but again I was only sleeping in the room. It was clean, comfortable and warm. Bar- plenty to pick from however they did have some issues with the lager pump but it cannot be helped sometimes. Bar area also made up the dining area. Along the corridor additional dining areas. The night we stayed I think both dining areas were full and they were working on two waiting staff, management and bar staff! I cannot complain at anything, they were attentive, happy, and food was beautiful. Nothing was too much of an ask. Food was very nice however some meals were on the smaller size for the price however it ensured there was room for dessert. Breakfast the next morning was nicely set up in one of the dining rooms. Plenty to help yourself to and the. Fresh cooked breakfast. Cannot complain. We would recommend and would stay here again. Staff were fantastic
