Good and delicious full breakfast. Wonderful service, the hotel staffs are nice and helpful. We have hired a car Skoda which we are not quite familiar with. We ask the hotel officer for help to tune the rear mirror. Even they are also have no idea of this car, they try the best to find out the way. Thank you for their kind help and great effort đđđ
Stayed here as a couple for one night. Room was large, clean, minimalistic and warm. Good sized bathroom with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful for us. Free parking in a secure area. Downside was that there was no hot water in our bathroom sink and the water was a mere trickle. The sink was also tiny causing me to splash water when washing my face. Shower pressure was not great. There was no mirror in the bedroom area so I couldnât wash my hair as no mirrors next to a plug to dry it. Mirror in bathroom was good but obviously I canât plug my hairdryer and straighteners in there. We also couldnât assess our outfits for the next day as no large mirror. We just nodded at each other that we looked ok. Bed was comfy if a little on the soft side but we slept well. Would we stay againâŚâŚ.probably as it was convenient for us but Iâll ask for a different room.
Food was great, staff was brilliant, canât wait to go back, was my first time here, credit to the team behind the scene, (chefs), good to have this local, outdoor area looks good aswell, heard mixed reviews about this place, defo great place to try sith family or friends.

Spent a Friday night here at the end of July. The hotel is right in the centre of Dunfermline so very convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. There were plenty of car parking spaces at the back of the hotel (pay and display - you can't pay by card, either coins or by using the Ringo app). We had a Super King Executive Room which was huge, had a comfy bed and very clean. Free tea and coffee making facilities too. The bathroom was also big with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was included, you can help yourself to cereals, fruit, jams, Yoghurts, coffee and juice. There's also bread and a toasting machine you can use. You order cooked options from a menu (and tea if you want this). The food was piping hot and tasty. Staff were friendly and for the price we paid our stay was good value. Would stay here again.
Next to the golf course, this is an old hotel. It is clean, but very old. The hot and cold water in the taps are separate. The hotel also provides heating in the summer evening, so it is very quiet. There are many small animals to walk around and meet unexpectedly. It is suitable for self-driving. There are also bus groups staying. The surrounding environment is very good, there is a lawn suitable for weddings, and the sunny breakfast restaurant is also impressive.
Checking In to this hotel was all smooth, staff helpful and friendly. The hotel room was lovely and found the beds really comfortable. Unfortunately breakfast was poor very limited choice no black pudding, no hasbrowns, no fruit salad either. Shame about the breakfast as the hotel is lovely and the location is good. A short walk to the train station for trains to Edinburgh City.
I booked this accommodation along with two friends for one night. On arrival date was repeatedly texted to confirm time of arrival whilst still travelling, despite confirming we would be there between 1700-1800. On arrival at the guest house there were no staff present, the room keys were left on the reception desk and the front door was propped open. As a female I immediately felt unsafe. The hotel was fully booked and myself and two male friends were upstairs in rooms with no ensuite, there were six rooms on the floor sharing one bathroom with WC, making the WC engaged if a guest was having a shower. No staff visible for any help. I left the premises and my two male colleagues stayed. Breakfast consisted of coffee machines, cereal bars and fruit to help yourself still no staff prresent. This is a non refundable booking. I gave it one star as there was no option for zero stars.
My partner and I arrived late after a flight to Edinburgh airport and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff in the nightshift. The whole hotel looked freshly decorated with new fixtures and fittings, all of which seemed of a very high quality. Our room (room 4) was wonderfully appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served very quickly. For what we paid this hotel is worth a 10/10 any day!!
We arrived early cuz we wanted to do laundry. However unless you go to a laundromat the hotels donât have machines-they send it out. We dropped ours off later afternoon and they had our clothes returned by the next day. It wasnât cheap.. we always pack lightly with a carry on to do laundry but it wasnât as convenient when we had rented a Airbnb for a few nights since electricity is so blooming expensive you have to air dry everything and you need at least 2 days! The room & bathroom were large compared to many of the inns we stayed at.. the breakfast buffet had the standard Scottish offeringsâŚyou could ask for fried eggs but not omelets (I didnât ask but couldnât see ingredients) If you have a car-drive to the Ferrytoll park and ride. Free parking and take the bus into Edinburgh. Thereâs usually parking spots on the lower level. Itâs easy and about $12/2 people round trip (I think). Just pay by card and tell driver you want round trip.
