"Impressive old building, great location, lovely breakfast. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom which was great but as we were at the rear it was a bit dark as we looked out onto walls and the paintwork being a little dreary didn’t help but the bed was very comfy! Would have appreciated a bottle or two of water in the room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay."
"Overnight stay in Harrogate, hotel in a great location within easy walking distance of the town centre for shopping, dining etc. We opted of a king room which was very spacious with a huge bed. Breakfast had a great selection of food to choose from and the full English was excellent. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
"Greeted with a friendly face and directed to reception. It’s a massive hotel old but clean and interesting. Our room 333 over looking the back of the hotel green lawn. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the tea making facilities, which were polostrine cups like takeaway ones. Maybe from Covid, and the tea milk and sugar in a tied up bag, no tray. But later on we ordered sandwiches from the bar and he said that he could get them to our room if we wanted to rather than wait in the bar for them. That’s when I asked for a real cup and he said that he would send two up with our sandwiches. Nothing is to much trouble, I would and will be staying here again."
"The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring sights of Harrogate everything very nearby!
From checking in and our room available early with welcome cookies which were warm and amazing to checkout the staff could not be more helpful!
The room was on the third floor clean, tidy and well presented.
The gym and spa facilities were all good and nice to use and relax especially on a Sunday evening!
The breakfast was buffet with a selection of hot and cold options the parcel machine was my favourite fresh pancakes which were delicious!
This hotel is huge but it's well maintained clean tidy and such an enjoyable experience for our anniversary!"
"Great place for location for what we needed Harrogate theatre , friendly staff and reasonably priced overnight car parking , 3 rd time stopping here and would do so again"
"Location of hotel is excellent for shops, restaurants and pubs, the room was exceptionally clean. The only downside in room was shower had no shelf for items and took a bit of figuring out. Staff were polite and on hand to help if needed. The parking is on a first come first served basis. "
"It's just that the facilities are too old. It would be better if the facilities can be improved. The room is relatively large. For me, the location is more convenient. There is no air-conditioning and there is a garden. I feel that it should be refurbished to be worthy of the price."
"Good location, friendly staff. Lovely quiet room. Breakfast was good, not a massive choice but good quality. Did not eat in the restaurant but looks lovely, nice menu, will definitely return."
"We often stay in Harrogate but had deemed this hotel a bit far out of town. Far from it. It's a pleasant stroll of 5 minutes through a nice residential area to get to the main shopping and eating areas of town. The Hotel has plenty of parking (small daily fee) or plenty of on road parking closeby (right outside of a weekend).
In particular the staff were excellent. So many smiles and so pleased to help. We stayed for a function and the event room and servicing were very good (nice crossiants). Well done Cedar Court you exceeded our expectations."
