Greeted with a friendly face and directed to reception. It’s a massive hotel old but clean and interesting. Our room 333 over looking the back of the hotel green lawn. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the tea making facilities, which were polostrine cups like takeaway ones. Maybe from Covid, and the tea milk and sugar in a tied up bag, no tray. But later on we ordered sandwiches from the bar and he said that he could get them to our room if we wanted to rather than wait in the bar for them. That’s when I asked for a real cup and he said that he would send two up with our sandwiches. Nothing is to much trouble, I would and will be staying here again.
I originally wanted to order Rudding Park, but I have seen the room type and I have been entangled for a long time. I chose West Park and then I was alone in the RP official website. The same 4 stars difference is too much. The suite is very low cost and the restaurant that WP comes with is very expensive. Brunch ate 30+ pounds
A lovely stay in a delightful hotel. Polite, helpful staff coupled with a lovely room, quite small but perfectly adequate for a solo traveller. The bed was so cosy and the bathroom was armed with a powerful, refreshing shower. I also sampled the food from the attached restaurant - The Fat Badger - which was delicious. I shall look forward to returning in the future.

LLauraAmazing from start to finish.
Breakfast was delicious, great options.
Room (lodge suites) we’re warm, noise proof and clean
Food, slightly on the more expensive side, however good size portions and delicious so worth the extra money!
Attention to detail throughout our was unreal.
We will certainly be back!!
RRoamFreeWe had a lovely weekend stay at the Crowne Plaza Harrogate. The room was a good size and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Check in was a breeze and having an on site car park was a real bonus (although it is chargeable). Ideally located within Harrogate and all nearby attractions and places of interest were within walking distance. Would recommend and will stay again
GGuest UserWow! Booked last minute for 3 of us, didn’t see any photos of the room so were very surprised. I just booked as it said 3 beds, included breakfast and was in the town itself. The room was huge. There was 1 room with a four poster bed and a second room with a double and a single with really high ceilings. There was even a hallway when entering the room and the bathroom had a bath and separate shower. Everything was clean, beds really comfortable. Tea and nespresso coffee machine with a nice selection of biscuits. One of the rooms was slightly cold but they had provided plug in heaters. We overlooked the pump room museum. It was so close to town, the valley gardens and Betty’s tea room. It was a tad expensive but to be expected as booked last minute. Parking if you could get a space is £12 and has to be vacated by 12 noon, unfortunately I had to park elsewhere but it was not too far (jubilee car park for about £14).
Breakfast was good but the room was even more impressive with lovely ornate ceilings, pillars and atmospheric lighting. There was a hot and cold selection, not huge but sufficient. Would have been nice to have more veg options such as veg sausages and I noticed that the same spoon was being used to serve the black pudding as the fried eggs so I stayed away and had scrambled instead.
All in all a very pleasant stay.
LlycarrerazBeautiful, comfortable and beautiful.
Across the road is a huge lawn!
The room was a bit small but reasonably clean.
The surrounding environment is great.
The English breakfast was also delicious, I ate it for 5 days in a row.
The dinner is also good, the waiters are nice,
Service is nice.
Many elderly people come here.
The water quality is a few blocks behind London.
GGuest UserGood location, friendly staff. Lovely quiet room. Breakfast was good, not a massive choice but good quality. Did not eat in the restaurant but looks lovely, nice menu, will definitely return.
GGuest UserThe cost of the accomodation didn’t quite match the level of service we would expect. The location is grand and the facilities are really good, as is the breakfast.
However, the pool is limited to strange times for families such as during breakfast and dinner, when the middle of the day is would be more suitable.
Also someone chased after us when leaving the spa to return the towels, which two children were using, rather than allowing us to leave them in our room for housekeeping to collect.
The house keeping took two turns to send shampoo to our room, after a polite call, they sent shower gel instead.
In summary, great food and facilities, but it’s bit awkward with children to be there and the service in the spa and housekeeping is lacking.
HHarry1It's just that the facilities are too old. It would be better if the facilities can be improved. The room is relatively large. For me, the location is more convenient. There is no air-conditioning and there is a garden. I feel that it should be refurbished to be worthy of the price.
