Find the Cheap Harton Hotels

We stayed here for a wedding. The room itself was prefect. (Family room) Large bathroom and very spacious bedroom area. We had a mini fridge with water and milk in, tea coffee facilities etc. iron, hairdryer. Unfortunately we didn’t think the beds or pillows were very comfy. Very large bed but it was 2 beds put together and me and my partner could feel the gap between the beds! Not what we expected. The venue is absolutely stunning! We had the best time. All staff were friendly polite and welcoming. The food was excellent. We had pork/chicken/beef over 2 courses then a cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely delicious!

Great location outside of York city centre and very easy access from main roads. There is a park and ride service about half a mile down the road which is highly recommended as parking in York can be difficult and expensive. Park and ride journey time is around ten minutes and drops you off close to the Shambles area of town. The accommodation was basic but clean. Bed was comfortable, Shower was very powerful and plenty of towels. Large screen TV. Breakfast was limited but very nice and set us up for the day. The only downside about the accommodation was that it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep water etc, there was plenty of space to have one. Also it would have been nice to have had a small sofa to watch tv in the evenings as the two desk chairs were not comfortable to sit on for any length of time. Also the walls were very thin as other room noise even conversations could be heard. There is also a Toby Inn next door which does really nice food and various ales.

Stayed recently for the second time. We stayed on the top floor, room was spotless and very spacious bed was very comfortable and bathroom was enormous. The view was lovely from our room you could see York Minster. Breakfast was lovely so much choice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lisa our waitress was really friendly and made you feel very welcome. June was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend and we would not hesitate staying here again when we come back to York.

I don't get the bad reviews that I've seen, seriously! I arrived early and was greeted in the most friendliest manner possible! Checked in early into a nice clean room with everything you need. I had a takeout past midnight and my door closed (rookie mistake) I rang the owner and within 2 minutes I was back in my room with no quarms. He was totally OK with it. I will definitely stay here again. I stayed at there sister hotel last year and had no problems. Really enjoyed my stay, thank you so much.
