"Brilliant location, only 5 minutes by bus from/to Gatwick Airport with a bus stop located outside the Guest House. My flight arrived after midnight, but after calling them 24 hours in advance, letting them know they left my room keys in a safe place. Very well informed of how to get there. It's a family run business, and they do care about their customers! Opted in for a continental breakfast, and I was also offered a homemade cake for free!
The place does show its signs of age and will definitely benefit from having a renovation. But otherwise, everything else was fantastic!"
"OK for a stay close to Gatwick Airport and within minutes walk to Horley Rail Station with connections to London and the airport. The hotel does not operate a 24h desk so late arrivals need to be arranged in advance"
"I stayed here last night due to a last-minute flight cancellation. I was really grateful to find a room so close — the hotel is right next to the terminal, which made everything much easier, especially after a stressful travel day.
The check-in process was smooth, the staff were helpful, and the room was clean and quiet despite the airport location. I didn’t expect much because it was such a sudden booking, but I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient and comfortable the stay was.
Perfect for an overnight stop or unexpected delays. Definitely a solid choice if you need to stay near the airport."
"It is very easy to find. Few metres away from train station. Really good hotel. Although the staff sometimes you have to wait the other is absolutely brilliant"
"Our family really enjoyed staying in the Gatwick Holiday Inn. It was certainly convenient to the airport, however, a bit of a distance for us to reach London city limits. The rooms were very nice and clean. The restaurant was especially good with the buffet that served some wonderful breakfast choices. Thank you."
"Wonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible."
"I had a wonderful 3 nights stay in this hotel. Choose this place because of late arrival at Gatwick Airport plus departure from there as well. Easy to go to London central and Brighton via train. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were well provided. Also, the staff was so nice to give me a late check out since my flight has late departure."
"Easy to find, shuttle bus to/ from the airport every 15 minutes, check in was quick and the room was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfy also to note despite being very close to Gatwick Airport I heard no aircraft noise."
"Since the flight was canceled, I found a hotel for a short rest! What a surprise after checking in! The waiters are very friendly and the surrounding environment of the hotel is my favorite suburban scenery! The bathroom is very hygienic and the shower and hot water are powerful! The waiter was more attentive in arranging transportation back to the airport! This small hotel can give guests stranded at the airport what they need!"
"The room is very big and beautiful! The hotel is a bit difficult to find but it is worth staying. The garden is very beautiful and you can eat or drink in the garden. The house is very historical. We lived in another separate house room next to the main building with a small garden."
