Very satisfied stay experience. The host family is very friendly and welcoming. We have a lot of luggage. The room we originally booked is on the second floor. They are not afraid to trouble us to change the room on the first floor to avoid our luggage. The whole cabin is very cozyly furnished, typical English country house. At dinner we walked about ten minutes to Half Moon, a restaurant in their recommended town, and enjoyed a delicious English dinner. We highly recommend friends from Gatwick Airport to stay at this family hotel for one night and experience pure English country life.

Wonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.

The next morning at Gatwick, so stay here one night in advance, and take the 100 bus to the North Terminal the next day.
This hotel is a few hundred meters away from Horley Railway Station. It takes ten minutes to walk, but the road is more difficult to walk. It has to pass several intersections. It is necessary to pay attention to safety and British driving is contrary to domestic. The sidewalk is also pitted and dragging the box is a bit laborious.
The hotel is 7,8 minutes away from the city center. There are several restaurants, but there are not many types. There are several Chinese restaurants that can take out. It is opened by Chinese people.
There is no breakfast by default, but plus £10 can make the hotel have breakfast, the restaurant is in a good environment.
The whole house is a three-story independent house, the room is old but quite clean and quiet.

This hotel offered a nice, but small, bedroom. As an airport hotel, it looks the part on entry: take note of the mirror at the reception, decorated around the frame with lots of badges from abroad.
I was surprised to see that the Saffron Grill Bar offers multiple food options, not just Indian cuisine that the name suggests, although I chose Indian food as I can’t say no to it. Drinks were a little on the pricey side, but on the plus side, they were typical of Indian cuisine (they had 1 draft beer, Kingfisher, the rest of the drinks were bottled or were spirits).
My only complaint was the shower. I was not staying for long, but when I did use the shower, I found that the hot water was not very hot, even when the temperature was set to its hottest.

From the airport to the hotel, the bus is very convenient, the bus stop is parked at the entrance of the hotel, 2 pounds per person. It is still possible to catch a plane for one night.
Hygiene: One dining: There are no restaurants around, and there is a small supermarket in a gas station. There is a large supermarket about 1 km walk.
