"Stayed in the NEW Deluxe Queenbed Room. The room comes with a queen-size bed and a smart TV (YouTube, Netflix, etc. available — just log in with your own account). Got a room on the 8th floor: fast Wi-Fi up to 30 Mbps, and a wonderful night sky view. Highlights: Varied and delicious breakfast. A complete menu is available — appetizers, buffet breakfast, egg corner, Asian and Western dishes (photos attached). Very strategic location, close to a mall, Brawijaya University, and Muhammadiyah University. GoFood and GrabFood friendly. At night, there are tons of great food options nearby — from penyetan, martabak, red fried rice, and more — all within 0–30 minutes delivery range. "The location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite. The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous. The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room. Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also."

"It was a pleasant stay at Ijen suites. Matress was super comfy, amenities was excellent, breakfast was good. The hotel staff really pay attention to guest special request. And they were helpful too. "Nice property, not in a central location. Spacious rooms, large and comfortable double bed. The cleanliness wasn't the best; there was dust on the floor and in the corners of the room. Complimentary water, coffee, and soft drinks were provided free of charge in the room. Excellent staff, very kind, helpful, and above all, smiling. Superb breakfast. Every dish was delicious and always refilled. Small gym where you can do some exercise, and a pool on the ground floor for relaxing."

"Staying at Regents Hotel Malang was both comfortable and incredibly convenient, especially for my planned visit to Mount Bromo. The hotel’s location made it an ideal base, putting me within easy reach of the mountain for an early start on the sunrise tour. My room was spacious and well-equipped, with a window view that overlooked beautiful gardens, offering a peaceful spot to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel restaurant was another highlight, featuring a diverse breakfast buffet that ranged from freshly baked pastries to local specialties. This made it easy to grab a filling meal before heading out for a day of adventure. The hotel staff were helpful as well, providing tips on the best routes to Bromo and even assisting with transportation options. Overall, Regents Hotel Malang offered a convenient and comfortable stay, making it easy to explore Bromo and enjoy the beauty of Malang!"

"This hotel is strategically located along the main road. There are a lot of restaurants, cafe and convenient stores nearby. In terms of rooms, we are happy to book a room. We get 2 big beds and in one room, four adults can sleep comfortably. Toilet is divided into shower cubicle, sink and vanity mirror and toilet bowl. My comment is that shower cubicle is only half closed and it's missing proper glass door. Therefore, shower water spills into the sink and mirror section. When it's wet, the tile is quite slippery. So, walk carefully. Two breakfast coupons worth IDR50,000.00 each are given for each room. You can have your breakfast delivered to your room or you can dine at the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the building next to the hotel. We were informed that the restaurant is under the same management as the hotel. The food is good. We ordered bubur ayam a few times as it is good. Nasi goreng Jawa is very delicious. There are chicken slices and cabbage slices. It's well cooked and the portion is generous. What is interesting about this hotel? It has a rooftop restaurant and you can take pictures of Malang city from up there."

"The bathroom is not cleaned properly. The room balcony floor is like no one ever cleaned..despite informed front office.bath was too old. Staff are all very helpful and friendly but lack skill service training . Can not prepare soft boiled eggs , it came out hard boiled eggs..or not even cook.. The quality of foods is average . Over all staff need proper training.. Thank you Mr.Foo"

"The most comfortable guest house, clean, staff service is also good, breakfast is quite good, stayed here for one night and will come back again if there is an event in Malang. Note if you arrive too late, the entrance to the guest house is a bit roundabout because the nearest road is blocked."
