The lake view is clearly a scam - the view is there but not what you really expect when you buy it. There was no power backup. As a whole, the stay was average and anyways they were charging comparatively lesser than other hostels. So, the average experience makes sense."

"The hotel location is good, near mughal gardens and easily accessible in the city. The rooms were decent and clean, the rooms were not that modern looking but they were good. The food was good including dinner and breakfast. The service was also good, the local staff was nice and friendly. Their carpet shop next to the hotel had a very good collection."

"The itc heevan hotel in srinagarv is a fantastic property. Very well maintained rooms, spacious lawns, badminton courts, gym and excellent service by the staff. It is close to dal lake and other sightseeing points like nishat garden etc. Overall, a must stay place and we will definitely recommend strongly."

"I must say this is one of the best hotels in Srinagar both in terms of facilities and hospitality. Lady manager and the entire staff were very nice people who would treat you like family by addressing all your concerns. Regarding breakfast we were surprised by the Masala Dosa which was very tasty and even the buffet. Con part is non-veg which did not meet the expectation and the TV which will have only one channel which will play old Hindi songs, so I would suggest the management to recharge for some good channels too.Everything else was just perfect."

"The location is good, adjoining with nishant baag. The hotel is 800mtr from dal lake ( nishant ghat. Great view of the lake, from the hotel also. Sunset is superb from the hotel site. The food is good, the options are limited but justified. The room is good as mentioned. The service is good."

"We group of 3 couples with kids stayed here in April 2024. We booked three rooms stayed couple of night, It really pleasent experience staying at the Jamawar Hotel. Starting from our arrival staff is very suppotive and quick while responding. Hotel location is near by dal lake and mughal garden. Rooms are very specious in size and clean. Omly thing wanted to highlight is all our three rooms do not have AC heater instead of that they have provided heater blankets and portable heater too. Food quality is good and testy, you will get both options buffet and ala carte which includes veg and non-veg both. Only thing needs more improvement is time taken to refilled few dishes, order also takes time. But since food quality and taste is there so can be ignore waiting time. Owner personally keeps an eye on all the activities also support us for booking cab, guidance on points to vist. One more person is genuinely gem i.e. Mr. Aamir (Manager) of hotel who supported us on all small issues. So overall really great experience staying at the jamawar compare to charges of rooms.
