Magnificent location on the hinge between old town and new area. The hotel is also very central, close to shops, restaurants, train station ... And it is also very close to the bus stop to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and acceptable size. The bathroom offers fair services and is clean. Breakfast does not include a large buffet but the necessary thing to start the day: hot or cold drink (the worst thing is that the juices are not natural), yoghourts, some fruit, some sausages, bread, crepes, magnificent croissants and something of hot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 100% recommendable.

Yes, some reviews state that this hotel is a bit away from the city center and you need a car. Dont even think about it because you will be spending a huge amount of time finding a parking space in the center...and you probably wont. Taxi is 10 euro to the old city and by the way...taxifare from airport is fixed....25 euro. Now about the Nicolaus Hotel. Top class service and smiling people everywhere and in every department, from professional and fast check in, really funny guys serving in the bar and proff behaviour in the spa,- which by the way is really nice. Breakfirst is in a totally different leaugue than you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Waiters everywhere to take your order (included) on everything you may not find in the buffet. Breakfirst is a real 6 star experience. We even asked to check out 2 hours later just to make it comply with our taxi to the airport and of course no problem. Thank you very much to everyone at The Niclaus Hotel....there are places 1-2 hours away from Bari that we didnt make this time around so I expect us to be back shortly.

I warmly recommend Zodiacus Residence. Everything was very good. Starting from the fact that the location is excellent, right in the middle of the city, close to all the city's attractions. Restaurants, bars, cafes, all are a stone's throw from the location. The rooms, which have a vintage atmosphere, are very clean. The staff deals with this aspect on a daily basis. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast. There you will find an electric stove, a small electric oven, a refrigerator and everything else you need. I traveled with two families who had children aged 9 and 12. It was also very useful for them to be able to prepare a breakfast for them. Our host was very kind. She helped us with any information we requested. We will gladly return to Zodiacus Residence.

Let's say that for the feast of San Nicola in Bari the closets are also rented out at crazy prices. However, the room that was reserved for us in these B&Bs was really large, spacious and clean. There is no staff to welcome customers because the doors can be opened from the street via mobile phone and a link that is sent at the time of booking. The bathroom is very spacious and in any case fully equipped. The problem is that, probably lacking control, in our room there was a strong and acrid smell of smoke that leaving the windows wide open for hours was useless, thanks also to the favor of mild temperatures. Then the acoustic insulation of the windows is bad, you can't sleep. On the ground floor there are vending machines that are overrun by groups of kids, even in the middle of the night. Too bad, it could have deserved a higher rating.

GGuest UserReally enjoyed my experience at the Olive Tree in comparison to the other hostels I have visited in Italy. The staff are really friendly and helpful with knowledge on day-trips away from Bari and how to use the public transportation to get to a location. What I found really nice is that the would talk you through what each place was like, rather than refering to a QR code which other hostels now seem to prefer. Beds, bathroom and kitchen was clean - and there was also a lovely terrace outside. Good location to access public transport as well as getting into Old and New Town.

GGuest UserMagnificent location on the hinge between old town and new area. The hotel is also very central, close to shops, restaurants, train station ... And it is also very close to the bus stop to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and acceptable size. The bathroom offers fair services and is clean. Breakfast does not include a large buffet but the necessary thing to start the day: hot or cold drink (the worst thing is that the juices are not natural), yoghourts, some fruit, some sausages, bread, crepes, magnificent croissants and something of hot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 100% recommendable.

GGuest UserLet's say that for the feast of San Nicola in Bari the closets are also rented out at crazy prices. However, the room that was reserved for us in these B&Bs was really large, spacious and clean. There is no staff to welcome customers because the doors can be opened from the street via mobile phone and a link that is sent at the time of booking. The bathroom is very spacious and in any case fully equipped. The problem is that, probably lacking control, in our room there was a strong and acrid smell of smoke that leaving the windows wide open for hours was useless, thanks also to the favor of mild temperatures. Then the acoustic insulation of the windows is bad, you can't sleep. On the ground floor there are vending machines that are overrun by groups of kids, even in the middle of the night. Too bad, it could have deserved a higher rating.

GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed at this hotel in August for 1 week. The staff could not have been more helpful. They advised us on all the public transport we would need, how to reach the Old Town (Which is near the hotel) The hotel is very clean and we had a wonderful breakfast each day. It was our first visit to Bari, and we will be back as it has everything we needed for our break. We will be staing again.

GGuest UserWe needed a hotel near the airport. We had just arrived from the US and had all the documents regarding Covid available from the US including barcodes from the CDC. We arrived at 8 PM, and the clerk at the front desk denied us the room because she said we did not have an Italian green pass. The Italian barcode readers do not sync with the CDC barcodes. She told us that we had to go back to the airport, or a pharmacy to get a rapid test. She told us that this was the policy of the hotel. We were very upset and worried about our entire trip. In any case, all the pharmacies were closed, and we returned to the airport, and €70 later (40 for the tests, and 30 for the taxis) we came back to the hotel and she provided a room. After all that, the room was fairly mediocre, the bed uncomfortable, although the breakfast was OK. I do not recommend this hotel. We discovered later on that a test is not equivalent to a green pass. The staff at other hotels, realize that Americans do not have a green pass, and accepted documentation regarding vaccination status.

BBeppeFumaWe found this baby accidentally I have to say we found very good. That kind boy who answered us at the phone and then welcomed us at our arrival. Extremely spacious room is very clean. Super breakfast made in the bar under Jerome with cappuccino and scream flirts 😋. Also very comfortable because the conventional parking 2 minutes walk is perfect. It will be our first choice when we come back to Bari. The only advice I give to the property is to have an additional eye on the maintenance and use of things in the room but really simple things.
