****DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.**** Should have paid attention to the reviews. Mass of party guests arriving by 7pm. Full blown wedding reception by 8pm. Went out for dinner and came back to a night club party by 10pm. Just like other reviews stated, this place is obviously an event hosting location first, masquerading as a hotel second. I waited until half past midnight before asking what time the noise would be over because we were being kept awake. I was told 'about another half hour'. The party continued on past 1am and was then followed by a cleaning crew that rattled dishes, clashed bottles together and voices echoed long into the night cleaning up after all the party goers. Still lying awake, I heard the AC in my room turn off somewhere around 2am - the last thing keeping me comfortable. Woke up to grounds keepers mowing lawns promptly at 0800 outside my window that was now open because I had no AC. Aside from the night club outside my window at 1am, the rest of the hotel didn't impress either. I took a swim in the pool which was nice until you looked at the pool bottom and sides with alge uncleaned. The pool deck was abysmal. Empty liquor bottles, pop bottles, and water bottles littered about, sun beds in dissaray, wet towels still laying on deck chairs, dirty ash trays and not a soul to be seen. The pool was cool and refreshing and deep. Nice to swim I guess. Wi-Fi was mediocre. The staff was also peculiar. Check in desk answering the phone in between trying to check us in - rude, no friendly greeting or welcome, asked for a bottle opener for our room and reception didn't want to give us one so told us they needed to open our wine for us instead, told to get wine glasses from the bar but bar attendant looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked for 2 wine glasses. It's unfortunate, the hotel grounds are quite beautiful and there is a ton of potential. Rooms are small but I found them clean. Bathroom is small but clean. Continental breakfast was acceptable. The BEST part of this story if you're still reading, is at checkout. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction (no one cared to ask how my stay was before asking for payment) the reception didn't even blink an eye. There was ZERO remorse or empathy or literally any physical sign of care. Not even so much as an apology. I mentioned the issues I had and was told repeatedly there was nothing to be done except told to speak to a manager who wasn't available of course. When I asked the reception if all other guests should just be expected to deal with others partying and not having any regard for the time of the evening, I was told 'Yes'. Please Please don't bother staying here. It's just not worth it. Congratulations to the bride and groom, hope your stay was enjoyable - mine wasn't. Wish I could post the video here I took at 1am of your party from my bedroom window. Astonishingly poor stay, avoid avoid avoid.

It’s been more than 10 years since I ve been at ibis Sesto Fiorentino Hotel and I still chose it for my business trips. Friendly staff, free parking, quiet area and very clean rooms.I suggest it,specially for travellers by car!!!
Our stay was two nights. Room 404. Positives: Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to the airport - 10 minute cab ride. Comfortable bed. Reasonable weekend rate. Though close to the airport, the room was quiet. Negatives: no one to help with luggage - used a hotel luggage cart to load in and load our out luggage. The room sorely needs redecorating. The floors are scratched. The furniture is damaged - chips and nicks. The bathroom fixtures are worn out - the chrome finish is missing with the underlying brass exposed. To enter the bathtub requires stepping over a 24 inch high tub wall. The room is tired and worn. This hotel was OK for a short stopover on our way home, but would not stay there for an extended period.
I read the impressions about this hotel and I was scared.I chose to stay one night here and I have a big question: either I am too lucky or other tourists too unlucky. Let's start with:free parking (we found easy place), at the reception there were 3 employees all very kind.I received the room immediately(215) and I waited to see the cockroaches,to feel the bad smell but to my surprise the room was very clean, with clean bed linen, with towels almost ok(a little old).Bathroom quite spacious with shower and tub.Mini bar where you can cool a drink and TV with many programs. Since it was not very hot I did not use AC so I can not pronounce.I slept very well in a quite comfortable bed.In the morning I was in the breakfast room and I found what to eat .It's a basic Italian breakfast. If I have something to reproach is that the omelet is served cold. In conclusion, it is a hotel with a quality-price ratio, correct. At all other hotels in Calenzano the price is double. I'm coming back here in a month and I'll see if I was lucky the first time or I'll be just as satisfied. At departure the boy from the reception he promised me that if I specify in the reservation I will receive the same room.
It is a homestay, high-class and elegant.
We departed from Milan by car and arrived at the hotel about 22 o'clock in the evening. The front desk was already off work, but very carefully sent me an e-mail with instructions on how to get there, how to find the keys, and enter the room. It's like a treasure hunt, it's fun, the hotel has private parking, free of charge. We booked a triple room. The hotel carefully changed the sofa in the living room to a large and comfortable bed, complete kitchenware, and a wonderful dinner (milk + instant noodles + apples). The heating was great. We put our washed clothes Let it dry overnight. Bringing children, especially in winter, how important a well-heated hotel is! Wake up in the morning and see the backyard, which surprises us again. The blue sky, big green areas, and a rabbit. The child doesn’t want to go. Not rushing to the city, I really want to have fun. According to the hotel staff’s suggestion, I walked smoothly to the nearest light rail bus station in about 15 minutes. Pushing the stroller was fairly smooth. Even though there are wheelchair lanes in the underpasses between the roads, there is no one except the four of us, so it’s a little cautious. If you go alone at night, you will still be afraid. During the trip to Italy, I prefer Florence, this hotel also added points, great!
We spent a week at Hotel Miro', gathering our family from Abu Dhabi, Yorkshire and Cyprus in order to scout wedding locations around Tuscany. The hotel is strategically placed near the highway and at a 5 min walk from the railway station (20 min from downtown Florence). A wide, free and guarded, hotel parking is available for travelers. The great staff courtesy was undoubtedly very much appreciated both at the reception and at the breakfast room (Mr Giovanni served our daily unforgettable cappuccinos with the smile and aplomb of a skilled butler!). Rooms are spacious, even for the ones used to ”Dubai standards”, clean, quiet and well kept. A/C worked properly without noise and the free Wi-Fi did its job as expected. Vending machines and a good pool table are in the hall. We didn't try all facilities being busy around; hence we missed the gym. Minor issues have been always fixed promptly by the careful staff and their amazing manager, a profound connoisseur of Tuscan culture, habits and, of course, food! Any advice and suggestion? Just ask Mr Dini! I strongly recommend Hotel Miro' to anyone willing to visit Florence and its surroundings in full relax in a high value-for-money retreat.
