"The Fujisawa Smile Hotel has an excellent location, less than a 10-minute walk from Fujisawa Station, making it very convenient for visiting Kamakura, Enoshima, and Shonan Kaigan Park. The area around Fujisawa Station is bustling with various shopping malls, offering a wide range of dining and shopping options to suit any budget. I was confident in the hotel's cleanliness. Initially, my room faced the street and was a bit noisy. I mentioned my poor sleep to the front desk, and they immediately moved me to a quiet room. For my last night, I was even given a room on a higher floor. I originally planned a two-night trip but extended it by one night. I love Fujisawa and Kamakura!"
"The hotel is in a good location, just near the commercial street near the station, walking distance, transportation, parking, and dining are all very convenient. For parking, the hotel has a cooperative parking lot, you can ask the front desk, but there is no free parking service. The capsule coffee and tea in the hotel lobby are good, and you can buy fresh milk from the convenience store and pour it into a good latte. The room also provides a mobile phone charging cable. However, the room is generally ventilated, and the smell is a bit heavy when you enter. Turn on the air conditioner, windows and ventilator, and turn on the ventilation. If it rains, remember to buy an umbrella near the station, Lawson is about 100yan more expensive"
"Good
1. Free breakfast
2. Breakfast had lots of bread variety
3. Free drink machine (soft drinks & coffee w matcha latte!)
4. Have free amenities for you to take
5. Location is near station and lots of shops surrounding too
Neutral:
- 2x washing machine & dryer but because of their popularity, have to fight for a chance to use them
Bad
- can be quite confusing to get to if you don’t go from station but the surrounding shops"
"The room was absolutely tiny, maybe only 3 square meters. There wasn't even enough space to properly open my luggage. This has to be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in – I was truly taken aback by how incredibly compact it was. To make matters worse, it was located in the basement, which made it feel stuffy and humid. While the air conditioning offered a bit of relief, it certainly didn't make the room comfortable."
"Great location, very convenient surroundings. The only downside is that the windows don't open. But the service and location are really good. It's easy to go for a walk nearby in the evenings, and there are many drugstores. Worth it!"
"The hotel's location is super convenient, right near the 7-Eleven on the circular overpass to the left after exiting Fujisawa Station. From the second floor, you just head down and take the small street to the left of the 7-Eleven, and it's right there. There are tons of restaurants nearby. The front desk staff speak excellent English and provide professional service, and you can drop off your luggage early. Although the room is small, it's fully functional. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as the hotel doesn't provide them. Being so close to the station is a huge plus, making it easy to access the starting point for Enoshima and the JR Tokaido Line."
"The location is incredibly convenient. While the room isn't large, it was spotlessly clean and, though compact, was perfectly equipped. For Japan, this size is actually quite good. I initially booked for just one night, planning to head to Tokyo the next day. However, Tokyo's prices were much higher, so I decided to extend my stay for an extra night here. The following morning, it only took about an hour and a half to reach Tokyo. Highly recommend!"
"The location is right behind the station, but the navigation app kept telling me to go around in circles. There was no bottled water in the room, they said the tap water was drinkable. The room was a bit small but very clean. The hot spring bath area only had 4 stalls, so I chose to go later to avoid waiting. There are free drying facilities, and laundry costs 200 yen per wash."
"Facilities: Complete
Hygiene: clean
Environment: Comfortable
Service: Excellent
This is my second time here. The first time I simply soaked in the hot springs and I still had more to enjoy, so I chose to stay for two nights this time and spent a whole day there. The natural hot springs are great. My shoulders, neck, and sleep have improved a lot. It is the first choice for eliminating fatigue. Needless to say, the food is delicious. I will come again if I have the opportunity."
"Dili is located at about the same distance from both the north and south exits of Fujisawa. You'll need to wait behind the station on the right, which takes at least six minutes to walk with a 24-inch suitcase. The hotel is otherwise decent, but the onsen is charged separately, which is understandable. The funny thing is, Ctrip didn't indicate on the hotel's booking page that this is a fee. It's 2,000 yen per person for 90 minutes, and mixed bathing is required. Swimsuits are available for rent if you don't have one, but they cost 1,000 yen per set. I reported the fact that the hotel's onsen wasn't listed as a separate fee, and Ctrip didn't mention it at all. While they responded quickly, I wasn't satisfied with the result. They said they didn't indicate it was free, but out of consideration and comfort, they offered to compensate me with 44 RMB per person (for a room with two people in a double room), for a total of 88 RMB.
Having stayed in so many hotels in Japan, I've always trusted Ctrip's basic service. I believe most people automatically assume that since a hotel has its own onsen, guests can use it for free, just paying a tax per person. I didn't expect this kind of trap, and it was clearly a trap Ctrip created themselves. When I first called to report the situation, they said they didn't understand it clearly and that it was clearly marked. Then, on the second call, they insisted they never said it was free! We strongly urge Ctrip to immediately indicate that this hotel charges for hot springs and stop ripping off other users who trust the Ctrip brand.
The prices and room types of surrounding hotels are similar. If they had known about the hot spring fee in advance, they would have considered accepting it. There are other options.
Please avoid this!"

Amazing
XXINGJIANThe slam dunk love tour, compared to the scene of taking pictures at Kamakura High School Station Uyang Uyang, the station at the entrance of this homestay has a more beautiful atmosphere, and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet, especially the years are quiet. The landlord is very nice and fluent in English. If you arrive early to store your luggage, you need to call the landlord to open the door. The facilities in the room are even more complete than in the hotel apartment. I have everything I want, except there is no TV. The washing machine does not have a drying machine, but the overall shower room has a drying function. If you don't have too many clothes, you can basically dry it overnight. But what else to watch when you come to the beautiful Enoshima. The entrance is the Enoden Railway, and there are cars from 5 in the morning to 12 in the evening. Although the soundproofing is good, people who are particularly sensitive should choose carefully. There are other residents in the building, so the landlord urges guests with children to keep quiet.
MMihairuExcellent apartment. The owner of the house was very friendly and communicative. Apartment is well equiped. All works well. Sparkling clean.
Good location. 7 min to station. 5 min to ocean. Have supermarket nearby.
MM524280****The room was clean, quiet, very pleasant stay, and felt at home. Very intimate, all kinds of things are complete. Next time I come to Kamakura, I will definitely continue to live, a few steps from Enoshima Station, very convenient.
GGuest UserThe surrounding area is a residential area for locals. There are affordable prices in the living supermarket. Western-style Japanese restaurants can be selected. KFC also has it. There are also small shopping malls. The station is also very close. It is more convenient to eat, live and travel. It takes an hour to walk to the beach. You can walk through the local residents' residence 🏘️. It's also a kind of sightseeing.
GGuest UserWe were there in April 2024. The condition of the premises is very good, clean. But the feeling of the premises is from the 60s of the last century. This is probably how it should be. For a very old hotel this is expected. The service is exaggeratedly perfect. We left the hotel for a walk and an employee immediately escorted us and offered to take umbrellas at the door on the way out. We came in from the street where it was raining and the administrator at the front desk ran when he saw us into the utility room and brought towels for our faces and hands to dry off. The maid, seeing us leaving the room with the child, immediately asked us to stay and within a minute brought a child’s yukata and children’s slippers. They called us for breakfast 5 minutes before the appointed time and warned that everything was ready. Breakfast is above all praise (national dishes), very varied and large comprehensive breakfast. We highly recommend it to those who want to get acquainted with a version of a national hotel - a ryokan.
