"Probably the best located and nicest hotel I have ever stayed at in Japan.
Spacious, well appointed rooms with semi western style bathroom.
Great view of the castle, particularly at night.
Directly outside the south exit (turn right) and 2 minutes walk from the station.
Lots of local cafes and restaurants within 100 mts and a good Fresta supermarket less than 200 mts away."
"This is the second closest hotel to the station, with Daiwa being the first. The downside of being so close is the noise from passing trains. The overall soundproofing of the hotel isn't great either; I could clearly hear the cleaning staff talking in the hallway during my afternoon nap. Also, for some reason, there were sudden, loud cracking noises in the room. At first, I thought it might be the wooden furniture expanding and contracting due to temperature changes, making a loud 'CRACK!', but then I wondered how that could be when the AC was on constantly. These noises were quite disturbing in the middle of the night. The fridge was also noisy, and so was the AC. In short, there was a mix of various noises, yet somehow they seemed to cancel each other out – quite a bizarre experience. The facilities are a bit old, but the room itself is spacious. It was clean, and the service was very good."
"We arrived at the hotel at 6:00 PM that evening. The hotel's exterior was stunning from the first glance. The cozy lobby, with its warm yellow lighting and powerful heating, was truly welcoming. The female staff was incredibly friendly and explained everything in detail in fluent English. They even gave me a brief tour of the hotel.
The hotel has a free water dispenser with large bottles for self-use. Toothbrushes, combs, and other toiletries are available at the self-service area for self-service.
The green light in the hotel elevator was a bit odd 🤣. The hotel is designed like an apartment, with four rooms on one floor, and an open-plan layout. Anyone who's watched the Japanese anime ”We Are the One” will understand.
The hotel rooms are spacious. The double room was perfectly spacious for a 29-inch suitcase. Perhaps due to the airy, spacious interior, even with the heater on in the winter, it still felt a bit chilly at night. The room was clean, with an industrial-style design, wooden tables, and comfortable lighting. The bed was large and perfectly firm. There was a tablet with information about the hotel and nearby attractions.
This hotel is affiliated with the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel, so you can use the hotel's large public bath. While it's less than a minute's walk, it was quite cold and irritating to walk out in winter wearing only a yukata. The bathhouse is clean and comfortable, but small, with only four bathing spots. It was quite crowded that evening at 8:00 PM, so there was a slight queue.
The hotel is also close to the famous Onomichi Ramen, a 6-7 minute walk away near Fukuyama Station. The line was about 10 minutes, but the food was delicious and I felt warm and satisfied afterward!
The hotel's breakfast was delicious, with several options for food and drinks. I chose a hot dog and hot coffee, which was delicious. It was a shame I had to rush to a schedule, otherwise I could have stayed longer at the hotel and enjoyed it.
A great experience! I will definitely be back! Next time I'll definitely have a drink at the hotel bar 🍺"
"Location is good, very accessible to stations, food outlets and mall. In the heart of Fukuyama City. It would be better if they could have the supplementary coffee too."
"The room is large and the bed is soft and comfortable. There are child-friendly facilities such as drawing paper and picture books. There are a variety of welcome drinks! Breakfast is varied and delicious! The hotel has plenty of parking space"
"The elevator was under repair, so I suppose the stress of that was a drawback, but the front desk was too friendly for a hotel.
Maybe it's for inbound tourists.
The tub bath is interesting if it's your first time, but there were a lot of older guys there so I felt a bit hesitant to try it."
"Although it has a business atmosphere, the rooms are clean and the front desk has amenities, which was helpful! The breakfast was delicious, and when I asked the staff how to make the limited-time menu, they kindly explained to me. I would like to go again!"

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe had an amazing visit! The service was excellent, the food delicious and a there is a beatiful view from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!
GGuest UserIt was cold, so I went to sleep with the air conditioner on, but it seems that if you ask for a blanket, they will lend one to you free of charge.
There were no problems or issues.
DDonaldDongBecause the flight to Okayama was diverted to Osaka and cancelled, we arrived about three hours later than expected. After calling the hotel, they helped us reserve dinner (normally dinner is at 7 o'clock at the latest). After arriving at about 8 o'clock, dinner was served as originally scheduled, which was very good. The room is spacious and very clean, with four beds, and it looks like you can also sleep on the floor. This room is 85 square meters, which is no problem for a family. The decoration quality is very high, and there is a type-c USB port on the wall, a full set of Sony TVs, echo walls, etc. There is only Japanese breakfast, but the room type I booked can go to a room similar to the executive lounge, which has coffee, drinks, small pastries, etc., as well as drinks, all free. The hotel service is very good, and there are waiters who speak English. The shuttle bus to Fukuyama Station takes about half an hour, and the schedule can be checked on the official website. The hot spring is clean, there is also water massage, and there is a sauna room. There is an open-air hot spring pool on the third floor and on the top floor, but it was too cold when I went there. Very good hotel, with few people.
GGuest UserParking is complete near the station. Convenience stores and restaurants were not nearby, so it was a convenient location. I want to use it again when I go home.
MmiffyleeIt is a convenient hotel. The bed is too small, there is 1.1 meters, and the website is not specifically written. If two people live, choose carefully. At most, it will be one night. The lemonade downstairs of the hotel is delicious.
ママホガニーThe receptionist was a foreigner, but he was fluent in Japanese
I responded politely.
Thank you for the snack and drink service.
Convenient because the room has a refrigerator and microwave oven.
The unit bus has auto lock and the room is as comfortable as a normal hotel.
It's not silent because the Shinkansen runs nearby.
I didn't particularly care.
Inside the ground に Resident yard があり
Because it is a flat house, it may be more convenient than a normal business hotel.
and it's reasonable for those who use it in their cars
I can recommend it.
I would like to use it when I travel to Okayama.
