"This stay was absolutely divine! It was an unexpected gem during my trip, and I wholeheartedly recommend it with five stars.
The location truly gets extra points. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It was super convenient for late-night snacks or shopping, and getting a taxi was quick too, so I never had to worry about transportation. As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed by how clean it was. The bedding was pristine white and felt soft to the touch. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, with no water stains or odors in any corner – a germaphobe's dream! The facilities were also comprehensive. The smart TV had a clear picture, the Wi-Fi was super fast, and the air conditioning cooled and heated quickly and silently. The soundproofing was an unexpected bonus; no matter how lively it was outside, closing the window created a quiet sanctuary, allowing even a light sleeper like me to get a peaceful night's rest.
The most heartwarming aspect was the service. Check-in at the front desk was incredibly fast, and the staff were enthusiastic and professional. They even proactively recommended local hidden gems and places to avoid for food, which was more useful than any guide. When I needed to borrow a charger mid-stay, a staff member brought it over very quickly. They were attentive and answered all my questions. The thoughtful details in the room also showed great care: soft slippers, quality toiletries, and complimentary bottled water – every little touch spoke of their dedication.
The value for money is truly outstanding. For a reasonable price, I enjoyed such a high-quality experience. I've already recommended it to my friends traveling with me. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit, and I hope they can maintain this excellent standard!"
"I'm giving this hotel a mediocre rating, mainly because the room was cramped and didn't match the pictures. The actual room was significantly smaller than advertised; even for a solo traveler, it felt cramped, and for two people, it would be downright crowded. Our luggage ended up piled at the foot of the bed, leaving very little space to move around. The wide-angle shots in the photos definitely exaggerated the sense of space, which was misleading. I'd recommend the hotel use more true-to-life photos in the future. On the plus side, the room was generally clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi was stable. It's okay as a temporary, transitional place to stay. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and aren't too bothered by a lack of space, it might be an option, but if you're seeking a comfortable stay, I'd advise looking elsewhere."
"This hotel in Niseko is right by the Hanazono ski slopes. It's very new, with excellent surroundings and service. The hot springs are exceptionally clean and comfortable. I especially want to highlight the breakfast, which is top-notch. Every morning, after a hearty breakfast, I'd hit the slopes and wouldn't even need lunch, returning directly to the hotel for dinner. Absolutely perfect!"
"It's hard to book a house in Niseko. I finally booked this one, which is also very good. The location is convenient, not far from everywhere, and I can cook in the house. I went to a nearby supermarket to buy frozen dumplings for breakfast, so I can eat dumplings during the Chinese New Year."
"The hotel is very close to the Grand HIRAFU base (5 mins walk), but doesn’t have a direct access to the slopes. The staff was extremely nice and spoke English. Our highlights were the onsen and fireplace in the common area after a thrilling day of powder. We liked the breakfast, good diversity and fresh items every morning. The yogurt was amazing! This place has an old chalet charm, so the rooms won’t be the most up to date and the wifi is hard to get. We would recommend for an authentic atmosphere close to the slopes and reasonably priced :). The first picture is from our room, mount Yotei was being shy but on a clear day that would be quite a view!!"
"Originally booked a sky hotel half a year ago, the number of temporary customers changed, my room was given to the customer, there was no room in the snow resort hotel in the peak season, the first time I was fortunate to experience this youth hostel, although 4 people got in and out of a room, but with countries love to travel young people to drink together at night. It is a different experience. Drinking and playing cards with American girls, talking to Korean guys about ancient times. The boss Beijing guys, the people are very good, driving to the snow field for free in the morning, and returning to the hotel for free in the evening. We temporarily want to charter a car and introduce friends to us. Very attentive to operate, taste life, really recommend this hotel. I hope we have the opportunity to meet again."
"Trip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search.
I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste.
(Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium)
That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind)
7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though).
They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy.
The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay.
Overall good stay.
Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!"
"The hotel is great; it has a shared kitchen, so you can buy fresh ingredients from the supermarket and cook, experiencing local life. There's also a gym, making it perfect for a ski trip."
"I had a wonderful end-of-year stay at Chalet Ivy Weiss. Everything was great – the beds and food were excellent, the spa was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. They even helped me book transportation to and from the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm skiing."
"For Niseko, where every inch of land is precious, this hotel offers great value for money during ski season. It's right next to the Hirafu slopes, making ski-in/ski-out super convenient for a multi-day stay. The bathroom is tiny, and once the futons are laid out, there's barely any room to walk. The only downside is that breakfast ends at 9 AM, which isn't ideal for late sleepers."
