Overall good. You can go again.
I was worried if there was a picture of Goemon bath because there was no picture of the Goemon bath, but there is a Goemon [Wind] bath properly. It is not something to make a fire and boil yourself. It used to be a goemon bath that boiled with fire, but now I put hot water in the old goemon bath. (There is also a clean inner bath in the room)
The facilities were clean and the rooms were spacious 々 comfortable. The barbecue space outside is easy to use, and the lighting is bright at night and I don't feel any inconvenience. Don't forget to prepare the net.
I think the refrigerator is small if it is large, so I think it is good to bring a cooler box in summer.
The lodge is close to the mount aso with a handful of cozy rooms. The host is kind and friendly. They serve well curated dinner and breakfast in japanese western style. It has been a nice stay.
The Higo Kaido Minamiaso Onsen Iyashi No Sato provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Higo Kaido Minamiaso Onsen Iyashi No Sato offers a pleasant stay in Minamiaso for those traveling for business or leisure. With JR Akamizu Station just 3km away and Kumamoto Airport only 19km away, transportation is very convenient. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Sugaru Falls Scenic Overlook, Dondokoyu and Aso Monky Theatre all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
It was the best location to see the stars! Starry sky tour, the best.
There was a small planetarium, and some people were snoring in less than five minutes to a comfortable voice.
The observatory's telescope has 2 and it's a little blurred, but I saw the stars explained in the planetarium.
The starry sky observation in the grassland was warm in the sleeping bag, and the bonfire and hot drink were delicious.
I could see the starry sky as I saw in the planetarium.
I was surprised that the room was in the woods but there were no insects at all. The surroundings are rich in nature, and it is a very pleasant place to hear the voices of birds and frogs.
The appearance and furniture were cute, and when I fell on the bed, I saw the stars from the skylight.
The breakfast was very delicious, despite the suddenness.
The water from the tap water is natural water from Aso, and when I take a bath, it smells soft and gentle.
Amenities were also available and comfortable.
It is a fairy tale nearby, and it is recommended to touch animals.
The resort location is accessible actually by bus from tateno 立野 station and the last bus is in the evening you may check the timetable online. We did not drive and leaving the accommodation is less convenient because all taxis were booked out but the staff was very friendly as to driving us to the nearby train station to continue our journey to Aso Volcano.
Service was good. The private onzen was amazing and we were able to use it for one hour. The public bath was good too but the amenities they provided inside were not as enough, eg they don't have comb for ladies and make up removing pads. Other than that, cleanliness was amazing and staff were friendly, rooms had amazing Mountain View's.
The service staff is very kind and one person can speak Chinese. We booked a private hot spring room. The room is very spacious. The private hot spring environment is ok, and it is a bit dark at night. The most appreciated is the public hot springs outside. There are more saunas indoors and outdoors. Very big. There is a soup outside the banquet. Dinner and breakfast are rich and delicious. And the price is cheap, may be a bit old. Overall very satisfied.

好好運娃娃A very delicious traditional hot spring hotel. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. It is highly recommended to stay here!
GGuest UserWe are a couple from Australia and I only speak a little Japanese. This was a truly AMAZING experience! The staff were so kind and friendly, giving us assistance was no issue for them. The location is stunning, the private onsen was glorious and the dinners and breakfasts were bigger than we could possibly eat (and we love our food). The price point for this experience was so good - fantastic value for money. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little adventure in the heart of countryside Japan.
If you get the chance to also visit Minamiaso (they will take you there at no extra charge) for the day, grab some e-bikes and have a ride around- take in the beautiful scenery and wonderful food options.
YYELBTA remote entrance like an old private house. There is an atmosphere. Stay in the desired type. There was an open-air bath and an inner bath, and the open-air bath overlooking Mt. Aso was the best, and there was an enclosure, so I can't see it. The room is two-way and wide 々, and the amenities are also substantial. The whole room is clean as a new building. In the morning and evening, you will be given a private room in front of Kagura dono. The coldest time in February, the air conditioner was not very effective, and the foot was very cold, so I asked you to lend me a knee hanger, but it was thin, so I felt grateful to prepare a thick one. I did. The remote control of the air conditioner was not shared or in the private room. Because Nakai is older, it took time every time I asked for something. Before dinner, there was a Japanese drum dance at Kagura dono. It was splendid. It was cold, but it is worth a look. (It is better to confirm only on Saturdays and days.) The dishes were usually delicious. There was a long slope to go to the room away from the mother shop. Drinking around and flapping down! Watch out. It was an inn I wanted to stay again.
LLoileepopA very pleasant experience, the independent cabin has a beautiful environment, the cabin is clean and comfortable, the most pleasant surprise is the meal, the dinner is a five-course Western food, very delicious, breakfast is also rich, the host is amiable, friends who play in Nan'asu can consider
The location was hard to find using both GMap and Waze, you’ll have to lookout for signboards too and a little intuition to find the place. We travelled in a fam of 4, given 2 single beds and 2 sets of futon. There is no washroom in the room and you’ll need to head down to the public bathroom to bathe. Not an issue for us as we were gamed for the onsen. There is an indoor and outdoor space onsen with all the facilities that should be there. As it was at night, couldn’t really see what’s the surrounding at the outdoor onsen but it was huge. The stay came with set Japanese dinner and breakfast and it was a fantastic experience. Kind of like omakase where they serve each type of food one by one. Overall a pleasant stay, good for family. Parking was free and plenty of space.
Yyokohama_tetsuThe front desk is an old-fashioned inn style. The slippers that enter the eye as soon as they enter the room are dirt and heel cut off, and even if the paper of ”disinfected” is riding, it is hesitant to wear today. The hand towel for hot springs is not dedicated to oneself who entered the vinyl, but washed and used. The room and the shared space are not deteriorated, but I felt that I was working hard in the double punch of the earthquake and corona. The bath is divided into ”dondoyu” which can take a day trip bath and a hot spring dedicated to guests. ”Dondoyu” is located at the hotel front desk, looking at the vast garden, and walking 2,3 minutes through the crossing corridor where there is a rabbit hut on the way. There was an open-air bath that had been boldly made in the garden, and there was an open-air bath that had been pulled out of hot water due to corona, but the large open-air bath was put in a source. In the morning, ”dondoyu” was closed, so I went to the guest only, but I was able to enjoy it at a hot spring with a wide 々 with an open-air bath. As for the meal, breakfast was normal, but dinner was great. Especially the red beef pottery plate was amazing, and such a delicious steak was not eaten easily. The overall evaluation is 3.5 points. If you close your eyes to oldness, it is a hotel that can be satisfied enough.
GGuest UserAs it is located to the south of Mt. Aso, if it is a clear day, Mt. Aso can be seen clearly all day long. It is approximately 2 km from the nearest station, so we recommend using a car or motorcycle. There are also private rooms (about 4,000 yen). I think it's reasonable (1500 yen) if you're used to sharing a room. However, in the shared room, the bunk bed to the right from the entrance is for men. The bunk bed in the back left is reserved for women, so it may be a bit of a hurdle for women. The inside of the bed is separated by a curtain, so you can't see it from the outside, but the privacy is comparable to that of a high-speed night bus. If you're concerned, it might be better to get a private room. Shower only. Warm water flush toilet. Can be cooked in the kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, etc.
Go to the left near the Asu volcano to the left. Asu Farm 🌱🍄 Azu Houses are so cute. Good morning on weekdays. It’s a long time since it’s drizzle early, so I went to play the “Zen of Vigor” 🌴 As soon as the children arrived, they rushed to the “Animal Kingdom” 🐑 Most of them were farmers. Small animals, but the overall facilities are a bit old. It is a lunch at Asu Farm Restaurant. The ingredients are fresh.🥬 Vegetables are freshly picked at the farm early in the morning. Looking out the window, away from the hustle and bustle. The mountain view of the big tree is really comfortable.😌
