"First time in Japan, to watch Yuzuru Hanyu's ice show in Saitama, a friend recommended the hotel, close to the station, very convenient for taking the bus, very friendly front desk service, excellent soundproofing in the room, stayed for 4 nights, the air conditioner was not turned on and it was not cold, the windows were large, the view was good, the breakfast was also delicious, but I found that Japanese people eat very little, I would always add more if it was not enough. Free coffee, green tea, black tea, hot water and ice water in the lobby, really convenient!"
"The hotel is quite new, and the rooms are significantly more spacious than what you'd typically find in Tokyo. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation and is roughly three times larger than those in similarly priced hotels near Ueno. It's under a 10-minute walk from Omiya West Exit, with incredibly convenient shopping and dining options nearby. I misplaced my room key once during my stay, and they replaced it free of charge. Ctrip's dynamic pricing felt quite aggressive, but luckily, it was a business trip, so I didn't dwell on it. There are no tall buildings in the vicinity, offering a pleasant view from the window. Omiya is also a major transportation hub, making it easy to travel anywhere. Ueno is just over 20 minutes away by train. It's a viable alternative for accommodation when visiting Tokyo."
"We booked a Japanese-style room for four with futons on tatami mats. The bedding was a bit firm but acceptable. The room wasn't very big, but it was very clean.
The hotel's location was great, right in the city center. There's an art museum on the second floor of the same building, featuring a Picasso painting, but photography isn't allowed. Admission for adults is 1000 JPY. In this regard, it doesn't quite measure up to the Getty Museum, which is massive, free, and permits photography.
The hotel breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options and was very generous. Nearby attractions include Kawagoe Ichibangai and Hikawa Shrine, where you can pray for good fortune.
I'd like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Furuhashi at the front desk! I was trying to book ferry tickets online from Aomori to Hakodate but encountered a problem; I couldn't navigate the Japanese website. Ms. Furuhashi very patiently helped me book tickets for my whole family on her phone, a process that took a full 40 minutes. She solved a huge problem for me, as all our subsequent hotels were already booked, and if we hadn't secured those tickets, our entire itinerary would have needed to be rearranged. We can't thank her enough! We're currently on the ferry to Hakodate, and I'd give her ten thousand thumbs up!👍"
"The hotel is very close to Omiya Station, making it super convenient for shopping around. It's also near SOGO, and there are tons of food options nearby. This was my first time staying in Saitama, and the transportation was great, very close to Kasukabe, so I got to see Crayon Shin-chan!"
"It's close to the station, so it's easy to find and I didn't get lost. I was there after an event at Saitama Super Arena, so it was great that it was close to the arena. However, the amenities included lotion and emulsion, so I bought them at a nearby convenience store. It was good that the convenience store was on the second floor, but it would have been better if they had lotion and other items. I'd like to use it again next time."
"The hotel is very close to the station within 3 minutes walk. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel to buy things, but the hot water in the bathroom is very long before it is hot. It is cold immediately after washing. The longest wait is 5 minutes."
"The location is great, especially for accessing Shinsadong. Considering Shinsadong is generally a bit off the beaten path, this location is actually quite good.
The welcome drink, however, was disappointing and its availability seemed inconsistent. As for the complimentary amenities offered at the entrance, I felt some staff members gave me judgmental looks, making me feel watched – as if I was taking too many. This was strange because I only took one per day, or sometimes none at all, yet I still had this odd feeling of being monitored.
On a more positive note, housekeeping was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for relaxing even if I slept in late. I enjoyed the train view from my room (though I understand not all rooms have this). Overall, most of the staff were friendly. The bathtub was small, but the water quality was excellent."
"The hotel is located on the side of the station that's full of bars. On Friday nights, there are a lot of working people and teenagers drinking, some of them drunk until morning. The hotel is in a dark alley, but it doesn't feel dangerous because they didn't bother us. The room is small, typical of typical Japanese hotels. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, so you can walk to buy food. Given the location compared to the room rate, I think it's very good value. There's a 2nd street store nearby that closes at 10 p.m. where you can buy secondhand clothes. But if you want to go shopping, I recommend walking across Omiya Station to the other side, which is more civilized."
"Have stayed more many times.. always one of my preferred choice when staying around Omiya.. walking distance to Omiya station, super convenient for food and groceries.. Sogo, Big Camera is around the corner too.. there is also Limousine Bus service right opposite of the hotel, but sadly, after COVID, the service is only to Haneda airport.. no more to Narita.. hope the later would be back soon!"
"It's very convenient to walk to Omiya Station for 6 or 7 minutes. The basic double room is small and two boxes can't be spread out at the same time. The breakfast is very good, both Chinese and Western. There is free coffee in the lobby all day, and the front desk service is also very polite."

TTAKUMI WANFUThe location is excellent. One minor suggestion: I would prefer the option to check in earlier than the specified time and have a later check-out.
GGuest UserCheck-in was only late, so if you are looking for a cheap hotel near the station, if you check in after 20:00, you can stay until 11:00 in the morning for less than 1 10,000 yen.
When I went there, I was surprised because it was a fashion hotel in the pleasure town rather than a business hotel, but it was good because I could only sleep and it was cheap and slow.
I was in trouble because I didn't have a refrigerator.
