"These newer Daiwa hotel are best. We've stayed in Yamagata, Koriyama, and Morioka they're very similarily designed and decor. They're better then other Daiwa in other cities. Their moderate Twins allows extra sofa bed is perfect fit for our family of 4 to sleep comfortably while staying together. Everything is just perfect with these newer built Daiwa hotels if you can find a good price on them."

"The hotel is not far from the station. It is very easy to find. There are no restaurants near the hotel, but There is a supermarket opposite, the goods are very convenient. Very convenient for people traveling alone, next return visit"

"The location is great!! The shuttle service runs early in the morning, such as before 5am. we rented a car and needed to return it at the airport early in the morning, so the location of the hotel was really convenient. The amenities were prepared in the lobby, and it was self-service to take them to the room. The bed was surprisingly hard, but I can't complain for this reasonable price. there is Lawson at G floor."

"Super close to the train station. The rooms are comfy and bright. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. Breakfast was pretty standard, similar to what you'd get at a Toyoko Inn, with a lot of the items seemingly being prepared from frozen. It's definitely on my list for my next visit to Yamagata!"

"Always a great working desk in the room of a Richmond but it can get annoying how controlled access is. Cannot take the stairs up or down even one level so have to take the elevator to get to the microwave or laundry machines and the elevator in turn requires taking the room card and this not only cuts the power but will cut your Internet connection in the room. Upon return it then takes a while to come back up."

"Great location directly connected to Yamagata station. My room was at the South wing which seemed new. The room is on the small side for 2 adults but has everything we needed, was pleasantly surprised with the handy steam iron! There are 2 x coin laundry at South Tower level 2; vending machines; microwave oven. Ice machine on several floors. The front desk staff were helpful, they allowed us check-in before 3pm and helped make a reservation at Yamagyu restaurant, really appreciated their help. The location is really convenient with the taxi stand and bus terminal right in front. Lots of food options around it."

"I was very impressed with my stay at this hotel. The service was good, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was varied. If I come back here again, I will definitely stay here again. Most importantly, there is a window with a view and the room is spacious and comfortable."

"1. Location of the hotel is nice! 2. Double Room size is pretty small which is 140m2 onlty! So, I would not reccomend those who have kids! 3. Toilet is very tiny! also bathtub can't fit a small kid! 4. The Freezer is very small! I have never seen such a small freezer. So, couldn't fit our Bento Box! 5. The hotel is old, and not properly maintained, for example; shower curtain is broken, and attach it with tape!"

"The hotel is located in the city of Yamagata. You need to transfer to the JR station to get there by bus. If you arrive too late, you may not be able to take the bus to the city. It is recommended for self-driving tourists. Although the hotel is quite historic, the rooms are clean and the facilities are good. There is a lawson and a hot spring for guests in the basement. There is also a hotel-only indoor parking lot next to it, which costs 700 yen per night. If you just want to park overnight, there are other cheaper parking options nearby. There are also many restaurant options nearby."

"It's conveniently close to the station and there's a convenience store diagonally across the street. Since it was a spot air conditioner, the noise from the nearby street vision screens was a bit loud even early in the morning, but toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and hair dryers were provided in the room, so it was totally tolerable considering the price and location."
