Hotels in Gwangju

"The accommodation was clean and the interior was remodeled well, so it was neat and pretty. If the standard of hotels in the country, no, the whole world, is this good, I don't think I have to worry about traveling. The owner is kind and the hotel feels well-maintained. It was also nice that there was a coffee machine in the lobby. If you close the water drain in the bathroom sink, you can stop smelling the old pipes. Even without that, the smell doesn't enter the room. The location was good for going to Dongmyeong-dong and by ACC bus or taxi, and there was a bus to the 518 Democracy Cemetery right away, and anyway, it was right in front of Gwangju Station, so transportation was good. I think I'll stay here next time I come to Gwangju. I stayed for several nights, but they gave me plenty of water and towels, and maybe because there weren't many people, they upgraded my room, which I was very grateful for. It's a quiet and clean hotel."

"clean and no frill business hotel, but nothing to write home about. crammed lobby with lots of group tourists. high rise building, meaning long wait for the elevator. the location was kinda far from the KTX station (12min cab ride) and also far from the subway station as a walking distance. convenient as the entire area is filled with bars, restaurants and etc etc. expectation was high as Trip.com said no.1 among the 4 stars, it really was a merely 3 star standard."

"Great hotel. Great service. Actually clean and without that much wear and tear. Wi-Fi worked great. It’s super close to the subway station and high speed rail. Convenience store is outside the hotel around the corner. View wasn’t that great but it wasn’t a priority for me. The jacuzzi shower head is like a jet engine. Very satisfied."
