On the day of check-out, a little after 12, for a few minutes the staff began knocking on the door and demanding to vacate the room. Is this worthy of such a hotel chain? When I tried to pay at the reception with a Union Pay card, the staff said that the terminal for Russian cards did not work. Although, in other places and hotels in Sri Lanka, everything worked without problems and it was possible to pay everywhere. I explain this behavior by lack of customer focus, which, again, is very strange for a hotel of such a chain as Marriott and for the service. I also want to note that this hotel did not have orthopedic pillows or any other pillows - when I tried to find out about this possibility, I was rudely told that there were no other pillows and that was all. "Incredibly nice and impeccably clean rooms. Very lovely location and outdoor spaces. The people working there are super sweet and lovely but receiving orders is on island time and the food has room for improvement. I would still pick this place over nyne hotels the muse down the road - who cancelled our reservation 2 weeks before we arrived at the height of tourist season because they wanted to charge more or messed up our booking. The Pleasure Kosgoda’s location and rooms are superior."
