One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! Not only the usual multiple coffee selections, juices, fresh fruit, croissants, good bread, toast and whatnot, but also omelette, salmon, slices of beef, a full cheeseboard including blue cheese, crepes, sundried tomatoes and - welcome to the cold oceans of the north - pickled herring! Yum! Also some kind of chocolate-coated thing that I will try tomorrow! An absolutely exceptional breakfast! Apparently there are two Hotel Congress in Vilnius so make sure you come to this one!
10 minutes walk from the international bus stop, supermarket and market are next door. The dawn gate at the entrance to the old town is also in front of you.
The breakfast was also delicious. The room is large and the water pressure in the shower is fine. There is no kettle in the room, but there is a water server near the entrance so there is no problem.
I think it is the best hotel for sightseeing.

We were on the 5th floor with great vistas of the city. Our room was warm and comfy and we enjoyed 2 nights there. We ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was very nice but it was a bit pricey so definitely cheaper to eat in town. It was very handy for breakfasts just being situated across from a world famous fast food outlet where we went each morning. The hotel was well situated for walking trips into the city which we did each day.
Perfect location, fabulous mansion with precise renovation. Breakfast was very good with great variety of warm dishes made on request. Service was polite and flawless. Room nice. Spa and treatments worth of value. Sauna was hilarious - 80 degrees (celcius) and dry - nothing to do with Finnish sauna that supposed to be sweat and steam.
ABSOLUTLY NOT RECOMMENDED! WE BOOKED 2 DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022 FOR A RAMMSTEIN CONCERT. AT THIS POINT THEY HAD A LOT OF ROOMS FREE AND OFFERED IT IN ***********. IN MAI 2023 (7 month later!) THEY CANCELED OUR ROOMS (2 DOUBLE ROOMS) WITH THE CASE ”SORRY - OUR HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED”. BUT THE REAL AND TRUE CASE WAS, THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS TO OTHER GUESTS CAUSE OF RARLY AVAILABLE ROOMS IN MAY 2023/VILNIUS. WE ORGINALLY PAID 599 EURO FOR ONE WEEK TOTAL FOR BOTH DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022. IN MAI 2023 THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS FOR OVER AROUND 2000 EURO+ PER WEEK (EACH ROOM!). FROM THE BUSINESS POINT OF VIEW ITS SURLY WISE BUT ITS REALLY REALLY UNFAIR TO THE GUESTS TO F*CK THEIR LONG PLANNED HOLIDAYS IN THE LAST MOMENT BEFOR THE TRAVEL BEGINS. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO FIND ANOTHER PAYABLE HOTEL IN VILNIUS SO WE HAD TO CHOOSE SOMETHING 30KM OUTSIDE OF VILNIUS CITY. WE HAD TO USE BOLT/UBER TAXIS EVERY DAY AND WE HAD ALOT OF EXTRA COSTS CAUSE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS HOTEL. WE ARE VERY VERY DISAPOINTED AND I WILL POST THIS STORY WHEREVER I CAN! UNBELIEVABLE!
Breakfast was really great
Friendly staff
Instead of the lake, it was unique by using the names of historical characters.
The location is good and the interior is well decorated.
The person who cleaned the coffee mix that you had every time brought one more and thanked you for your attentiveness.
One downside is that the Internet is unstable when it's far from the counter.
Hotel location is good, the environment is good, but in the old city pedestrian street, taxi is not convenient. Said to be a four-star hotel, even Samsung can not reach, the door face is particularly small, not easy to find. The most important thing is that I booked and prepaid, there is no room, let me go to another hotel, people are in a foreign land, it is a helpless! But Ctrip is still good, and compensation is a comfort.
Good hotel but staff and communication 0. I booked an Exclusive Queen Room in advance and at arrival I get a room where my bag just fits into the bedroom. After a few times to the reception, it was always heard that this was the only room available, so I paid for the most expensive room (128 euros per night) and I get the cheapest room, which shouldn't have been done. The next day, at the end of the day I got a room for which I paid.but I don't have anything to do with it. When I arrived at the hotel, I had a major deal in the city. This could not continue because I had to go to the bar for more than 2 hours (if I was assigned that evening in an inappropriate room) and I'm going to try to upload a photo of that ”exclusive queen room”.
The location was great and we were allowed to check out an hour later, which we were very happy about. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell in the room and the air conditioning constantly made a whistling noise. After checking out, €4.50 was deducted from our credit card deposit for a coke that we didn't take (we didn't take anything from the minibar). The issue was resolved and the €4.50 was refunded, but it was still a bit annoying and the communication didn't go quite smoothly. But what should also be highlighted positively was the delicious breakfast and the friendly service staff at breakfast.

Outstanding
JJen N.I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was on the 5th floor and I loved the view of the mural on the opposite building. The bed was cozy with 6 pillows and I had a restful sleep in it. The bathroom was well lit and spacious. The breakfast was good, they had nice options to choose from. The lady at the bar area in the restaurant was pleasant when I asked for hot chocolate, as I couldn’t find the option on the coffee machine. Turns out they have 3 machines but the one behind doesn’t make hot chocolate. I liked the swing and spent some minutes on it after taking a stroll to a nearby restaurant in the evening.
On the downside, I noticed water marks on the table top in the bedroom and sink. It seemed like the surface had not been wiped in since the last stay. I also noticed hair strands on the sink counter in the bathroom. I assumed there would be bathroom slippers and I didn’t come with mine, but there wasn’t and the bathroom floor was a bit cold. Guess I should always have mine handy ☺️. Overall, it was nice
YYixuanThe location is perfect, very convenient to shops and famous tourist spots, all within walking distance. The reception is friendly and helpful with questions. Can feel the hotel is old but yet clean and comfortable to stay. Can hear the sound when people talking on the aisle but overall not the noise that’s loud enough to disturb you sleep. Will definitely book this hotel if I were to visit Vilnius again.
After staying in Vilnius for over a week, this hotel is hands down the best! Not only is it within a 6 minute walk to Old Town, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is great, and the the staff is overwhelming friendly. We moved hotels after road tripping Lithuania, and chose to come back here due to the exceptional service and spacious modern rooms. Janus at the front desk is absolutely fabulous, offering help and assistance and a cheery disposition, plus there is always someone at the front desk to assist. The restaurant is convenient and the waitstaff is prompt and gracious. Coming from North America this was but when I come back to Vilnius I will be most definitely be staying here!
GGuest UserThe hotel is 15 minutes walk from the airport. To the bus station / railway station - about 10 minutes. ride. (Taxi cost us 4 euros). 24/7 reception - convenient for arriving/departing at night. Purely. Service at a high level. They speak Russian (if necessary). The breakfasts are excellent. I would say one of the best selections for a continental breakfast. The hotel is decorated in an interesting ”industrial” style. The very high ceilings in the room we stayed in gave an extra sense of space.
The only downside I found was the weak water pressure in the shower.
GGuest UserThe location is right at the heart of the city center and all attractions are within walking distance. The bed is one of the best I have ever slept in with memory foam. However the design and the layout of the bedroom and bathroom needs improvement as the shower and bathtub are separate units, looks weird and small and narrow. Old railing/shelf needs to be removed in the shower area as I keep hitting it. Wifi connection is good. Breakfast food is standard nothing outstanding. There are not much selection of fruits and using spoon to scoop the muesli is quite silly. I would expect to see omelets there but were not catered there for a 5 stars hotel like Novotel. Overall the stay was comfortable just missed out the usual Novotel hospitality I have expected.
I'm giving the hotel 4 stars because the location is great if you're on a short layover, otherwise it only rates 3 stars. There's a lot of construction going on, so maybe in the future the hotel will rate 4 or even 5 stars. It's quite old and outdated, which is not a bad thing, but the bed was small, the room was too hot even though a small fan was provided and the shower was very small. The bathroom seemed clean, but the rest of the room was a bit sketchy. The included breakfast buffet was very good and service was friendly. It's just a few minutes walk to the arrivals area of the airport.
In the room there is a non stop sound of the toilet pipes and air conditioning so I have to use air plugs in order to be able to sleep. Quality of breakfast is really poor and is doesn’t worth any money. Furthermore there are some conference groups in the hotel so you can not have a quiet breakfast because all of a sudden like 30/40 people appears and they are really loud. As there is quite bad weather in Vilnius I was with some more guests playing cards in the reception area and receptionist came in a quite rude way to tell us we cannot play cards in public place like this because is a “hazard”, still don’t know why. She says we can go play to the rooms, which I answer we cannot fit as they are pretty small and her answer to this was “next time go to a better hotel” I think this is really unprofessional to say. Im here for business but I’ll definitely tell my company to not send me here anymore as for the price per night is totally not worth it, even less if staff is rude to you.
Exceptional hotel and location. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful. The concierge was knowlegable and very helpful. Highly recommend. I've stayed here at least 5 times; best place to stay in Vilnius.
NNzubechukwu OnyiwaraI booked a studio apartment for a few nights during my stay in Vilnius after having issues with my first booking. I booked the lodging on my ride over from the other place and within 20 minutes, I was checked into the flat.
The customer service guy I spoke with on the phone was a very helpful and stand-up guy, pity I didn't get his name.
What's more? The flat was very clean with all amenities in place. I loved my stay. Didn't really want to leave but alas all things must have an end
GGuest UserThe location of the apartment is very convenient. The bus stop is 5 minutes from the apartment. It takes about 20 minutes for the airport to go to the apartment to do the bus, and there is no need to change the car. The apartment is 10-15 minutes walk from the town hall. The city hall is close to shops and restaurants! Anyway, you can walk all the way! The location is really good! There is a supermarket within 5 minutes! There is a coffee shop! The rooms are large and there is everything in the apartment. The kitchen equipment is also very perfect! The decoration is simple and modern! It can be said that I really like it! The apartment's breakfast is 6 Euro / person, not bad. However, what has to be said is the service aspect of the apartment! The follow-up is very angry! We stayed for 3 people. On the day of check-in, we found only 2 bath products, and the sewer of the bathroom was blocked, and the bath water could not flow. The next morning, I reflected the problem with the front desk. I hope they can help the sewers and ask if there are cleaning staff every day (the front desk informs: clean 2 times a day) and hope they can give us the missing bath, soap and paper towels. The front desk staff at the time was not bad. We recorded our problems and said that we would send people to check them out. I went back to the apartment in the evening and found that the sewer was well-passed. The missing paper towels (toilet) had been given, and I also helped to change the bath towels, but did not give us bath products. We thought it might not be the day, and someone will make up the next day. On the third day, when we went out, we packed up our luggage deliberately (I thought someone would clean it, because the front desk said 2 days/1 time) until I arrived at the apartment in the evening, and no one came to clean it! This is even better! Our bathing supplies were completely used up! There is no way, we have a reaction with the front desk (the front desk on duty at the 14th), I hope she will give us the bathing supplies, otherwise we can't take a shower! Who knows that this front desk (the front desk on the 14th) doesn't believe it, tells us that they will add bathing consumables every day (we don't have one day to supplement consumables in 3 days) and have been with us for a long time! Just don't believe us! It seems that we are going to cheat the shower gel. And we are 3 people, according to reason, there should be 3 copies, but only gave us 2 copies! And his family shower gel is very small, a little girl with long hair is not enough! So the experience feels particularly bad!
