We went to Grand Park Kodhipparu for our honeymoon trip and it was beyond amazing! The view, the accommodation, the service, the food, everything was perfect :) We are definitely looking forward to be back again!

...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. I've never given a 5 out of 5, so this is the first time I've given a 5 to this Hilton. Newly opened hotel with perfect hardware facilities and first-class service. The luxury speedboat is very convenient to go to the island, which can make good use of the time in Madai. First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for its services. It is true that the big brand is trustworthy. But this hotel is an unreliable hotel. If possible, go to another house. Near the airport, Paradise Island, Full Moon Island, or Bandos Island can be reached by speedboat. When I was picked up, I was asked to wait by the side. I waited for almost an hour and no one answered me. We have to wait to get on the boat. When I arrived, I disembarked with an African couple, because after waiting for the African couple to wait for an hour, then I went through the formalities for them first, and I waited next to me. Then when I was sending off the plane, I had a flight at 9 o'clock. He told me to go to the airport at 6 o'clock. I said that I would go to see the dolphins with your hotel group. The difference between the garden room and the superior room is the first floor and the second floor. The crows on the trees outside at night are very noisy and can’t stand it. This island is the cheapest island fee, 85 US dollars, wifi is very poor, slow to death, you must first buy a data card in the Maldives. The waiter is not good, don't come, go to Sheraton Full Moon Island or Pantos Island, Bandos is about the same fee, 93 dollars, but the diving there is beautiful, the room price is about the same, but the service of others is good. It costs $43 per person to go back and forth to Bandos. You can only practice snorkeling here, there are many reefs, it's a small island, and it discriminates against the Chinese, and the service attitude is so bad. Everyone Chinese, don't come here. I regret coming. I should spend more money to stay in other hotels. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty good. The breakfast place is open-air and the photos are beautiful. My wife and I have just returned from an amazing two weeks at this resort and cannot recommend it enough. We had the most wonderful time of our lives. We went with one aim - to relax - and on that it delivered in buckets. The island is a short (but long enough) 15min speed boat from the airport, the transfer being made easy by the staff at the airport. It is unbelievably beautiful, the grounds pristine and the rooms and common places beautifully presented and maintained. All the staff are amazing and work hard to make your stay the best it can be, but we must mention Patrice, our incredible island hostess who looked after us throughout our stay; Elin, Rachelle, Raksha and Haydie who were always happy and helpful; Chef Aamir and his amazing Malai curry; and Sumeda, who persuaded chef Aamir to give us his recipe so I can try and replicate this at home! Our villa was perfect and had everything you could want - toiletries (including sunscreen and insect repellent), flip-flops, sun hats, beach bag - they had literally thought of everything! The resort has three restaurants. All are included in the all-inclusive plan. The main one (Ylang-ylang) has a good selection. There was only one evening we struggled a bit but usually the offering was good. Only Blu, the underwater restaurant, was nice (loved the chicken) and offered a change of scenery, as did Gaadiya 17 food truck, which gave deliciously grilled fish and meat served on the beach. We certainly didn't go hungry during our stay. With a few experiences also included - Tara loved the snorkeling and although unsuccessful the sunset fishing was fun - the whole holiday was a dream come true. If we could, we would be back tomorrow.

For the price of an overwater villa I have nothing to fuss about. Just that the complimentary activities are very limited. Free 15 min of either kayaking or stand up paddle daily. Food wise - All inclusive of food and wines, beer, soft drink. A lot of varieties just that better not to have anything at the salad bar, fruits, pastries that’s not covered. There’s a lot of flies at the section. Lots of baby sharks swimming around daily. If you are lucky, can catch a glimpse of stingray as well.

What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the airport we were so welcome by so the staff. The resort itself is beautiful and kept really well. This is high quality resort with a very personalised touch. Shohel, our house keeper, made such a difference and was very courteous and thoughtful. We stayed for our anniversary and was met with such a beautiful display. The room was quite spacious as we stayed in an overwater villa and was quite private. The beautiful reefs are worth exploring. All the activities in the resort are so much fun and the staff make it much more enjoyable filling in any knowledge gaps and answering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying as we’ve decided we’d love to come back in the future.
