"We stayed near the airport for one night to catch an early flight. We chose this hotel because it had a kids' pool, which was a nice bonus. The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the airport, making it easy to catch a taxi or pre-book one in the morning. While there aren't many commercial establishments nearby, the hotel's dining options were sufficient. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with comfortable amenities. However, for some reason (perhaps a special circumstance), the shower water fluctuated between hot and cold, making it very difficult to maintain a stable, comfortable temperature. We also couldn't find a hairdryer. The kids' pool was definitely a highlight and better than we expected. Our little one had a great time, and we noticed many local families staying there with their children. So, even if you're not rushing for a flight, this hotel would be suitable for a leisurely trip too."

"The host was friendly to provide midnight check in and room condition was clean and tidy with good air conditioning. And the location was convenient from Queensway mall."

"'Office hotel'. Spacious space. Natural light. Got water dispenser on the outside corridor on certain levels. Clean and neat. Restaurant Nasi Kandar nearby. Most important thing is there's free parking. No hassle to think about overnight parking charge. But you need to get the parking card before the office close, and before you enter the parking floor."

"The location is superb close to Penang international airport, it's convenient for those who plan to stay one night for the next morning early flight. The hotel has a lift, but the tooth brush and tooth paste is not provided , please bring your own prior to arrivals. The durian store opposite the hotel (outside of Giant bayan baru) is bad, please don't be cheated by them, , they won't change it for you although it was wet with water inside, bad taste and it's hard like stone. Furthermore, the price is expensive compared to market prices."

"Have not stayed at olive tree for a couple of years and happy to see rooms are upgraded and corridors are brighter and cleaner. Bed linen are better quality now too. Will visit again"

"I have upgrade my room to 1bedroom suite. My family and I love the room. My kids enjoy the bathtub. Hotel location is good too as it is near to the airport. It only cost me about RM14 by taking grab from hotel to airport. Will definitely book again.."

We booked a family room since we have three adults, there was only one room with window but already taken, so we got the large family room on the ground floor- convenient since my elder brother don’t like to use the stairs. The showers were hot, good towels -overall good for a budget hotel."

"Still ok for short stay....strong water pressure for shower..spacious and with lift..and walking distance to eatery places...Grab costs around RM10 to go to Penang airport....mattress is comfortable but the lil downside is that 1 of the bedsheet has yellow stains on it....overall it was a pleasant stay ."
