HHaimeidingneThe hotel is relatively new with excellent facilities. The pool view is fantastic, though it was a bit chilly in Penang when we visited, so swimming wasn't an option. It's close to the airport, with some local food stalls nearby, and not too many tourists. Getting to George Town takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi. The Sultan was also holding an event during our stay, which added a bit of pomp and circumstance. Overall, it was a good experience.

GGuest UserCleanliness is good don’t get me wrong but my experience wasn’t that great due to the fact that there were many Charlie Ants in the dresser, toilet, shower, and balcony area.
Kudos to the hotel staff team tho for their prompt pest control services upon contacting them.

There is no tooth brush/tooth paste, no slippery, shower cap etc as amenities in hotel

GGuest UserThis accommodation is located right in front of Nasi Kandar Penang Kayu which opens 24 hours. Queensbay mall is nearby and only takes around 15 mins to the airport (subject to traffic) so as we only stayed 1 night to catch an early flight, it was convenient - location wise. No wifi provided though. Really have table tennis/ping pong table, dart games and movie (we didnt watch any) as seen on the pictures. The building is a bit outdated though. The tenant contacted us directly via Whatsapp and the explanation about the facility was very very clear and helpful.

Near to Setia Spice Convention Centre, surrounding restaurants are not muslim friendly.
Parking is very expansive. Parked for few minutes only, but had to pay RM4.
There is only 1 water filter at the lobby, and had to come down from my room just to get hot/cold water.
Room was smelly, towels were dirty( got stains on them) and some are torn.
The aircond has smokey smell.

BBTKThe location is very convenient to access to convenience stores and eaters. However the cleanliness and exhaust ventilation of the hotel need to be improved and at least one receptionist should be around and not ask customer to call upon check-in or check-out

In 1 room there are 4 cabinets where I sleep, I was worried because I mixed with men, I couldn't fall asleep
Had to stay because I was waiting for a flight at 5 am
With the lights that made me shocked because they were on off on off
Even the towels had a smell
I felt regretful too

During my first stay, I booked for 2 nights, and I enjoyed it so much that I came back the following month for 4 nights.
Whenever I travel for work, this hotel is always my top choice to stay.
