"The location is superb close to Penang international airport, it's convenient for those who plan to stay one night for the next morning early flight. The hotel has a lift, but the tooth brush and tooth paste is not provided , please bring your own prior to arrivals. The durian store opposite the hotel (outside of Giant bayan baru) is bad, please don't be cheated by them, , they won't change it for you although it was wet with water inside, bad taste and it's hard like stone. Furthermore, the price is expensive compared to market prices."

"Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, the shower pressure here is exceptionally good! A strong water flow is essential for a satisfying shower; a weak one just doesn't feel right, almost like you haven't really showered. We were both very pleased with it. The bed was also very comfortable."

"Booking process was quite smooth and easy. The place nearby was quite happening for place to eat The room was clean But I believe it is an office modified to become a room to stay. Therefore it was very quiet outside of office hours. I found it awkward as it did not represent the vibe either an apartment or hotel."

"Overall, a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The only minor issues were that the door was a bit difficult to push open and there was a small amount of dust in the corner of the room. The food was good, although the variety could be improved slightly. The gym and pool facilities were both very good and well kept. Aside from these small details, everything else was perfect. I would happily recommend this hotel."

"Fantastic Family Holiday– Great Food and Perfect Location!” ”Our stay at Hotel Pen Mutiara was absolutely wonderful! One of the biggest highlights was the huge room we stayed in—it was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for the family, and remarkably clean from top to bottom. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious; we particularly loved the Ikan siakap tiga rasa, which is a must-try for anyone visiting. After our meal, we spent a relaxing afternoon by the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained, providing a great escape from the Penang heat. The location is also unbeatable for sightseeing. It is located very near to the Aquarium Tunku Abdul Rahman (Fisheries Department Research Institute), which made our morning outing so convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent local flavors and easy access to nearby attractions!”"

"Still ok for short stay....strong water pressure for shower..spacious and with lift..and walking distance to eatery places...Grab costs around RM10 to go to Penang airport....mattress is comfortable but the lil downside is that 1 of the bedsheet has yellow stains on it....overall it was a pleasant stay ."

Every interaction was marked by warmth and attentiveness, making me feel truly welcomed. The room itself was another highlight. It was spacious, well-appointed, and provided a comfortable haven to relax after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities enhanced my overall experience. However, I did encounter some challenges during my stay. The elevator system was somewhat confusing, especially when trying to navigate to the 4th-floor car park. It often required multiple trips between our floor and the lobby. Additionally, I noticed the elevator lights would occasionally illuminate without actually moving, which added to the confusion. Another area for improvement is the pool service. I attempted to reach out via WhatsApp to request service, but unfortunately, I never received a response. This aspect of my stay was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more seamless experience while enjoying the pool area. In summary, while my stay at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel was enjoyable thanks to the wonderful staff and lovely room, I hope they can address the elevator issues and improve pool service for a smoother experience in the future. I would still recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Penang!"

"Room got bad smell from toilet, have crockroach, many ants in the table, There is no tooth brush/tooth paste, no slippery, shower cap etc as amenities in hotel bed not good need change new bed, Towel not fresh still got bad smell.. bfast too spicy for local food, Hotel price not worth it, old hotel"
