"As soon as I checked in, I saw a notice warning that insects may appear in the room. It made me feel very uneasy from the start. Since I had already booked two nights and same-day cancellation was not refundable, I had no choice but to stay for the first night. However, I felt anxious and uncomfortable the entire time and couldn’t sleep at all. I will not be staying here again."

"This is a very new service apartment, spacious for my family of 4. The management of this homestay is very helpful to resolve some check in issues at security. As we booked this very last min, we were not able to get carpark in the building itself but management team gave good alternatives which is not too far off. Had a very pleasant stay and highly recommended!"

"My overall stay at the Penang Marriott (Marjorie) was pleasant. The facilities and cleanliness met five-star standards. However, the staff's attention to detail could definitely be improved. My booking for a twin room was initially given a king-sized bed, and while it was eventually resolved, it did slightly dampen the initial check-in experience. There aren't many food options within walking distance of the hotel, but it's not far from Queensbay Mall, which offers convenient shopping and dining. It's worth noting that the hotel is a bit of a distance from Penang's historic district (George Town), about a 20-30 minute taxi ride. This location is more suitable for those seeking a quiet getaway or for business travelers."
