"Facilities: A bit old, but the rooms are spacious. Cleanliness: So-so, understandable given its age. Environment: Quite secluded, only options are delivery. It's close to the sea though. Service: Average, as there's no Chinese-speaking staff. Free Cancellation: This actually costs extra, which isn't good."

"Overall, the stay was quite pleasant, and the owner was very responsive. The view from the balcony was excellent. However, there are several issues I would like to highlight regarding my stay. Pros: There are several kopitiams nearby, and the food was quite delicious, such as Sri Nibong Cafe, Wo Lai Yeh Cafe, and Dhoby Ghaut Cafe. Cons: On the first night, I found a small cockroach hiding near the bed headboard. On the second day and again on the day of check-out, I encountered a rove beetle, which is considered a harmful insect as its toxin can cause skin irritation upon contact with human skin. I also noticed that the dustbin inside the toilet had not been fully cleared, as there was still rubbish left behind by the previous guest. Please ensure that hygiene standards and pest control measures are properly maintained for future guests. In addition, the water dispenser did not provide cold water and only had hot and warm water available, which was quite inconvenient."

"This is a new hotel, so I expected it to be great, but to my surprise, many of the facilities were broken. Especially the drainage system – the water made a huge noise when running and took a long time to drain. The soundproofing was also terrible. I reported this to the hotel, but nothing was resolved. On top of that, the hotel staff had a really bad attitude. I called the front desk to ask if there were any Chinese-speaking staff, and the person just told me to speak English. I then mentioned that the room hadn't been refilled with water, drinks, or towels, and I requested three towels. She actually asked me how many people were in my room and why I needed so many. I told her there were three of us, and she said she would verify the number of guests in my room before arranging it. She also told me that free water is only provided once a day. I explained that the room hadn't been restocked during housekeeping, and only then did she reluctantly say okay. The staff's service awareness is extremely poor; they question the guest first when there's an issue. And it was during the ***** New Year, so the whole experience left a very bad impression."

"The host is Chinese, communication is seamless, and the host is very nice. The hotel is located near Queensbay Mall, Penang's largest shopping mall. Eating and drinking is very convenient, and the airport is also very close. Downstairs, there are various food stalls open late, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes at affordable prices. This room backs onto the five-star Marjorie Hotel, but it's definitely more cost-effective than a five-star hotel. The top floor, on the 42nd floor, features an infinity pool, a gym, and an incredible view. The kitchenware and seasonings provided by the host were basically sufficient. I only needed to go downstairs to buy some ingredients and cook delicious meals in my room. Thank you, host, for making our Penang trip a perfect ending. I'll stay at your place again next time I visit."
