"The hotel is a walking distance to so many famous and viral food outlets. We went to the nearest shopping mall, Wetex by foot. We went to so many cafés nearby by foot, too. We enjoyed staying here as Speedmart99 is very near. There's a cafe downstairs. There are also a few kopitiams opposite the hotel and also nearby. The parking space is safe. Definitely will stay here again as it is very convenient and affordable."

"Recently stayed at Muarar D99 Hotel during a short trip to Muar, and overall, it was a pleasant stay. The location is excellent , right in the heart of town and within walking distance to a famous food spots and the riverside area. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was big enough for three people’s, clean and tidy, with comfortable beds that made for a good night’s sleep. For the price, it offers decent value. What could be improved: The hotel is showing its age, and some facilities need to be improve. The Wi-Fi signal wasn’t very stable, and the air-conditioning took a while to cool the room. If you’re expecting something modern or luxurious, this might not be the best fit because it’s not fancy but comfortable enough and conveniently located. Overall the hotel is simple, budget friendly option for travellers who want to explore muar."

"Good choice to stay at Mou Boutique Hotel. Went for a short trip to Muar with my kids. The room is quite small, but it serves its purpose. The TV remote wasn't working, but we weren't bothered. The location was quite central, close to the bus terminal and attractions. Nicely decorated and clean."

"Very disappointed. Our room at L5. From midnight 2am to 6am, there are noise from L6 water tank. The hotel was not fully booked, they should have allocate a better room for us. The bed were noisy. Aircon initially working well, midnight wake up by heat. Reception off from 10.30pm till next morning. So no chance for us to request to change room when aircon breakdown. L"

"The location is excellent just a few minutes walk from bus terminal, and around 10 minutes walk to town centre. The room itself is clean and new but the toilet really stink of dampness and mould. King size bed is huge. Service was good. There is a water filter machine downstairs to refill water bottle. The price I paid is very good value. I would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel room is spacious and the hotel is near to the shopping mall, eateries and local attractions. It was an enjoyable stay. If the facilities such as the shower head and flushing system in the toilet can be upgraded, that will be even better. I will choose to stay here if I am visiting Muar in the future."

"Spacious room with a clean bathroom. Shampoo, body wash and toothbrush are provided. This is a river view room and the location is convenient! Around 5 minutes walking distance to Food street Jalan Haji Abu and street art. There is many banks and convenience stall nearby too. No fridge in the room but that fine for me. Staff are friendly and basement parking available but limited spaces, roadside parking is fine. Will come back again, thank you!"

"Hidden gem in the center if Muar. Entrance is via a small road off the main street but signage is clear. Rooms are very small but ok for a short stay. Bathroom adequate size. Surroundings tranquil and relaxing. Lovely cafe on the premises. There is also a restaurant serving Malaysian and western food but did not try. We chose to stay here as they had EV chargers which are difficult to find in Muar. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel at a great price. Recommended."

"This hotel is always my first choice when I stay in Muar. It has ample parking, and there are many cafes and eateries surrounding the hotel. The room is clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that the mattress quality is not good."
