"Compared to some other Clarion hotels, the rooms in Trondheim were a bit old and could use some new finishing. The hotel is right next to the fjord, but in case you don’t have a seaview room, there’s not much to see. A bit longer walk to the restaurants in the area, but managable. Parking was VERY expensive. Breakfast was good."
"I have stayed in Oslo before and it was great! ! It’s really a good hotel with good quality and low price. The breakfast should be worthy of the price. The service staff is also quite enthusiastic and their English is ok. I don’t want to feel like some hotels are crappy."
"I made a reservation requesting a lower bunk bed. My legs and hips are not normal. but did not receive attention I got a 2nd floor bed. It was difficult to get on. There was no handrail to prevent falling. I don't drink water because I'm afraid it won't be convenient to get in and out of bed. Moreover, the mattress makes loud noises when I move my body.
**It's all my problem. Dormitory rooms are not suitable for me."
"The Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Trondheim, within walking distance of major attractions such as Nidaros Cathedral and the historic Bakklandet district. The hotel's modern architecture harmoniously blends with the surrounding historic buildings. The lobby area is elegantly designed, featuring Scandinavian-inspired decor and lush greenery, which together create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff are professional, friendly, and speak fluent English, always quick to respond to guest needs. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and varied selection, including Norwegian specialties like brown cheese and smoked fish."
"Perfect hotel located in the city center of Tromdheim. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all necessary facilities, making sure the guests have more than enough space during their stay. Providing perfectly proper services, the gentleman in the reception is really enthusiastic and helpful. Thanks to his help, I have enjoyed more about this lovely city. I’ve had a nice experience staying at this hotel, and I would like to recommend it to my friends."
"The surrounding environment of the hotel is good, the transportation is convenient, the center is within walking distance, the supermarket and the dining are convenient. The hotel check-in procedure is simple, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the experience is better."
"The hotel room is not very big and clean. The hotel's location is very good, and all attractions are near the hotel. The hotel breakfast was also very good. The hotel has a parking lot, but you have to pay."
"We had a pleasant surprise when we were given a room on the highest floor with nice city and harbour view. Breakfast was great with good selection of cheeses and an omelette station. The smoothies were a bonus too. The location is good which is practically 15mins to all attractions within the city center. The receptionist services were excellent and helpful. We happened to be there during weekend which the street level parking was free from 3 pm to Monday 8am, we were able to unoad our luggage at the hotel carpark and then park outside for free parking. Hotel charges 295 Nok per day."
"The room is moderate, there is a hot water bottle to use, good health, breakfast is very rich, there is also a free coffee, hot tea or snacks, the hotel staff is also very kind, the location is close to the train station, about 5 minutes walk, is a hotel worth considering."
