"Comfortable bed & good breakfast.The big negative is that even though air-con is advertised, there is no  Individual control over the temperature of the air coming through the vent.When I asked Reception how I could stop the hot air coming through the vent &  make it cooler air, they said they couldn’t do anything about it but just to turn off the air con altogether.I did that, but the hot room made it hard to get to sleep."

"Excellent boutique hotel in the centre of the old town. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Lovely rooftop restaurant for breakfast. Staff lovely and just a gorgeous hotel to stay. Cannot recommend enough"

"Comfortable hotel with good breakfast, but the service is not that great, especially the staff at night. The fat lady and the young guy at the reception was not keen to answer questions and provide minimal assistance. Regarding the facilities, nice gym and swimming pool. However, TV remote control was not working, the USB plug was not working and the door of the balcony didn’t function well…."

"Nice accommodation. It's not a real hotel. It's not a reception but they're available on the phone even though they never answered via mail 😅 but the boy who answered me was quick and kind at the time of self check in. The very colorful and well-treated room in details just like in the photos. Free mini bar is a chick. You also have a boiler and a coffee machine, i.e. very cocktailed. The huge bathroom to not talk about the shower. You have all the courtesy set available. Our room was looking out on the road. I don't think he has the windows quite soundless but fortunately, he's not going on the main road even though he's over the Vilacrosse gallerie with pubs."

"Hotel kept our booking despite late arrival thanks to help from Trip.com customer service. Love the hotel in general. Location is close to Old Town about 10 min walk. Morning receptionist a little bit cold. Food very good!"

"Location of hotel is good, right near Old Town, room size is fine, breakfast standard European breakfast, hotel has no restaurant of its own but there are restaurants near by plus convenience stores across the street. The one single issue is the WiFi at the hotel is really bad; however, when I brought this matter up at the front desk, the gentleman at the Reception was kind enough to lend me a router, and the issue was resolved."

"Cleanliness, service, facilities are all top-notch. You can't find accommodation of this size at this price in Europe. Although the location is a bit out of the way, it's only 30 minutes from the airport to the North Station by car. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the North Station to the accommodation. It's the best if you're leaving by air. However, there's no staff at the front desk after 8 o'clock, so it might be a bit inconvenient for late visitors to check in. There's also a convenience store 5 minutes away on foot. I recommend it."

"I was very disappointed with my stay. There was a strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in the rooms, which could also be detected from the hallway, even 10 meters away. I was on the 5th floor, and despite the hotel’s reputation, this was not what I expected. Additionally, loud music from a nearby bar or restaurant continued until midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. I had to keep the window open due to the smell, and so did my colleague in the neighboring room — but with nighttime temperatures around 8–9°C, the room was uncomfortably cold. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a hotel with such a good name."

"The hotel is very big. It is linked to the radisson blue hotel next door and be accessed without leaving the inside. The breakfast choice was smaller than i expected but was still very tasty. Not sure it is worth the price to be honest."

"I stayed at Moxy Bucharest Old Town from 22–25 August 2025 and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the Old Town, which made it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short city break. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with any questions. Overall, a modern and well-run hotel that I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bucharest."
