The Residence Inn is the place to stay in Chelsea, especially while the Homewood Suites across the street is temporarily closed for renovation and expansion. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is good with a wide variety of selections that varied by day and the staff is universally helpful and friendly. The shuttle only drops off at the airport in the morning, but getting to the hotel via the Silver Line T from the airport is cheap and easy if you want to save on an Uber or Lyft. The transit stop for the Silver Line and commuter rail stop is a very short walk away. The neighborhood is experiencing rapid growth with many new residential and commercial projects underway or planned. I would definitely stay here next time I am in town!
Breakfast must be paid by yourself. When you arrive at the airport, you need to call the hotel to inform the hotel bus to pick up. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the airport. You must also make an appointment when you leave the hotel.
The location of the hotel is very good, close to the airport. There is a sl3 bus to the city and subway station at the door. Convenient transportation. The room is large, especially the bathroom. Comes with a sofa bed. Suitable for Sancha home and even with two children. Western breakfast is almost the same. Suitable for people who have been traveling for a few days

The only thing “Airport” about this hotel is that it’s on the departure path for one of Logan’s runways. I heard airplanes… and worse … trains during my brief sleep. No shuttle for arrivals after 22:00 … so add $30 for Uber. Maintenance was suboptimal, the very large TV in my room has dead pixels in the middle of the screen. Very distracting to see a big hole in everyone’s face. Not a total loss, evening front desk lady pleasant, but I definitely will make a more informed choice next time.
We stayed here for one night before moving to a Cambridge hotel. Rates are certainly much cheaper than a Boston or Cambridge hotel, and rooms are big. As this was the middle of our trip, we took advantage of the coin-operated laundry facilities, which was great. Closes early though; i think 10pm, which is not ideal if you have several loads to do. Breakfast was good: standard for Fairfield Inns. Front desk staff not friendly, but not rude. Tip: choose and ask for room nearer the elevator. We were given rooms near the end of the corridor, and it was quite a long walk for seniors with luggage! Choose room carefully if distance from room to elevator is an issue Nothing to see anywhere near the hotel, but for an overnight airport hotel at the start or end of a trip, it is ok.
The reception staff are sooooooo nice! The room’s quiet, clean and well-decorated! Free, delicious breakfast is served from 6-10am. Love this place! I would totally come again!!!
We stay at a lot of Marriotts, and weren't terrible impressed by this one. We spent the night before leaving on a cruise in the morning. We checked in early (which we appreciated) because we had an overnight flight. The room was fine, but the bathtub needs a professional grouting and to be resurfaced. It looks like it was done by someone who didn't know what they were doing, sloppy and peeling. Being near the airport, the late-night flights made for a noisy night. Construction work being done at night also contributed lots of truck-backing-up noise, plus close-by traffic. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant offered only the buffet option at $21 or Continental breakfast at $19, and the Platinum Elite status only offered a $10 credit. The buffet was at best a $10 value, so we ended up going back to the front desk and taking the points instead. It was an insult to be expected to pay an additional $11 for some scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes considering that the other choices were all carbs (waffles, pancakes, cereal, fruit, pastries, etc). If I'm going to have a $21 breakfast it would be at a real restaurant with omelets, quiches and other menu offerings.
I stayed here one night during both my trip from El Paso, Texas to Rockland, Maine (stopping overnight in Boston) and again on my way back. It isn't a fancy hotel but it is a great ”commuter” hotel. Despite it being right next to the airport, I never really heard anything during my first stay when my room was at the front of the building (Room #312), and was only faintly aware of the planes taking off on the second night when my room was on the backside of the building (Room #213). The rooms were impeccably clean (even the windows which were crystal clear) and comfortable. The bed was ”comfy cozy”, and the shower was the BEST I have ever had in a hotel. The personnel were friendly and efficient. Ryan, at the front desk was especially understanding and helpful in getting my boarding passes for the next day's flight printed for me (I'm a ”senior” and go old school in wanting printed paper boarding passes). I would also like to give a special ”shout out” to my shuttle driver, Carolyn, who was especially outgoing and friendly (while still maintaining a constant watch on traffic). Speaking of the shuttle, they were very helpful and spot on when giving me directions as to how to get from my arrival gate at the airport to the spot where their bus would pick me up, and the bus arrived within the time frame they promised. Because of my experience with this hotel, I will be booking the Hilton Garden Inn at Sky Harbor Airport North in Phoenix for my ”stop over” nights during my Hawaii trip next spring.
Although I stayed at this hotel for only 12 hours, the room was quite spacious and confortable and equipped with everything I needed to stay for one night. As I needed to leave the hotel at 5am and could not have breakfast as it started being supplied from 6am. However, staying at this hotel was still worth the price.
Clean and comfy. Appreciated the breakfast which had hot food (scrambled eggs , sausage make own waffles as well as pastries/bagels/cereals/yogurt/fruits - Used their airport shuttle. But a bit noisy from vehicles on the street. Didn’t sleep well.
