Find the Cheap Helotes Hotels

5/5 Excellent hotel, clean. I stayed on an out and back from Phx to Fla in Oct/18 and then again on the way back to Phx in Dec/18. I made the reservation on Bring Fido. A shout out to Gary Lundberg for the excellent check in on both occasions after long drives and late arrivals. Gary was patient and professional, which made staying an easy choice the second time. He's an asset to the property and company! On the down side, parking is limited due to the property size. Getting in and out of a hotel on 1604 is not easy either, however, it's clean and quiet. As for pet friendly, not many areas to exercise the pooch, but for a one night stay it works fine.

While the hotel itself was decent and the staff was very kind, our experience when leaving has badly soured me on this hotel. We ended up leaving very early, around 4AM on Saturday morninf, and I wanted to pull the car back up to the front entrance to load our bags. However, we were unable to do so because onsite security cars (from several neighboring hotels, I assume, with their green lights flashing) were completely blocking the driveway so that they could hang out and vape. And to add to that, they decided to verbally harass my spouse when he went to return the luggage cart. It was EXTREMELY unprofessional, rude, and I can't believe La Quinta tolerates this behavior from people who are supposed to be providing security.

I can honestly that the staff behind the welcome counter are amazing! but the cleaning staff are hit and miss. Rooms are not cleaned properly to my likeing!

Great place for family that travel in a bunch get some food and cook. It doesn't have stay over services but the rooms are bigger with kitchen. with Dishes and all to accommodate. Definitely think if you will be in San Antonio for family reunion or function that you will need a mid size kitchen would be great

The overall feeling is an upgraded version of the hotel. The room is not too big and quiet, the quality of the toiletries is not good, can be checked in but can not take the key immediately, you can park for free, the breakfast is not simple, there is no vegetables. There are a lot of hotels around, if you are not considering breakfast, the same price choice is still quite a lot. In fact, there is not much money.

This was my first at this resort. My husband and I really enjoyed our spa experience. When you book an appointment you have access to the spa pool, steam room and sauna at any time during that day. It was nice they had an adult area and a family area for pool lounging. Having a nature trail was a plus! Plenty to do at the resort, make sure to check the calendar for events happening. The food at Primero cantina was not good and not to my liking. Shuttles are available to La Cantera shops and to fiesta texas. We dined at Signature which was a really great place for a date. The red snapper was delicious! Overall had a great experience.

Will never be coming back here again and would never recommend this hotel. There were multiple problems within our only two-day stay. When we arrived we were told that vallet is mandatory even though there is a guest parking lot less than a block away. When we asked about the guest parking lot they said that they wouldn't be liable for any damages if someone vandalized or broke into our car in the guest parking lot, insinuating that there WOULD be damages to our car. There was no information prior to our stay that told us the only parking option is valet. The attendant at the front desk went on to provide multiple horror stories of people having their car broken into strictly because they parked in the guest parking lot. After doing some research we found out that even in the valet, your car will be broken into. It was unnecessary for the person at the front desk to try these scare tactics and guilt us into getting the valet. After that, the front desk attendant proceeded to charge my wife's card for the room and for the security deposit even though I already provided them with my card prior to check in online and it was charged already for the room and for the security deposit. After checking in, we were told that there is no housekeeping service unless you pay a $90 fee and room service is not and option. The hallway leading to our room reeked of animal or human urine and trash was left unattended outside of multiple rooms. On one of the days the elevator had vomit in it that had not properly been cleaned. The hotel mentions that there are multiple eating options, most of which are temporarily closed. Would definitely not recommend staying here especially since they are considering themselves a luxury resort.
